Scope of BodyFontSize etc.

Dear wizards of ConTeXt, I'm wondering why ConTeXt doesn't seem to know about "BodyFontSize" in the "MPinclusions" block … try: --- \startMPinclusions DefaultRuleThickness := 0.47998pt*BodyFontSize/12pt; pickup pencircle scaled DefaultRuleThickness; defaultpen := savepen; \stopMPinclusions \startuseMPgraphic{localRule1a} draw fullsquare scaled BodyFontSize; \stopuseMPgraphic \starttext \startformula \Phi(\useMPgraphic{localRule1a}) \stopformula \stoptext --- As soon as I move the content of "MPinclusions" over to the beginning of my "useMPgraphic" code everything works as expected … Where's the best location to put this sort of definitions then? Is it the "MPenvironment" block? Oliver

Hi, Some/oftentimes, the more I read the scattered documentation, the more I'm confused... and wasting my valuable time testing and trying to figure out how things work. Here is, for example, why... headstyle for synonyms

Folks, Just wanted to send the following patch, requesting inclusion to ConTeXt. It adds support for headstyle option in \setupsynonyms by passing it to \definedescription. Maybe the \style option of \definedescription could be set by an additional option for \setupsynonyms as well, but as I am currently satisfied with the result in my document, I didn’t care yet. mtxrun:1741: attempt to index a nil value

For I had some problems with my installation I tried to start from scratch. Box can't be reshaped

Hi, Rotated text in \framed dproduce the following error message: ! Incompatible list can't be unboxed. \doreshapeframedbox ...hapebox \unvcopy \framebox \endofshapebox \global \@@... I run into this problem with a natural table. \starttext \setupTABLE[orientation=180] \bTABLE \bTR\bTD \input knuth \eTD\eTR \eTABLE \stoptext This happens only in MkII (the MkIV reshape code works) and i know I have to use a width for the each to let it work but is there no better solution for this. Two questions concerning greek modules: 1. I switched to the new minimal installation (on a Mac and an ubuntu system) and noticed that I had to install the cb-fonts (for \usemodule[greek]) myself. Will the fonts be included in the future? (Just a question; I think they should be). 2. I wanted to try the t-greek-2008.05.11 module and unzipped in texmf-local (where I keep my fonts). The "Greek in proper context" etc. articles seem to be outdated, but from the sources I gathered that \usemodule[ancientgreek] or \usemodule[oldgreek] may be used, the latter only if the former doesn't work. I have the following problems/questions: A. \usemodule[ancientgreek] doesn't work (mark ii or mark iv). It gives me, e.g.: ! Missing number, treated as zero. <to be read again> \penalty \CCC:4:126 ->\penalty \plustenthousand \space \defineactivecharacter ... {\string #1#2}\empty #1 #2\else \uccode \activehac... \@@su:enablegreek ...vecharacter ~ {\lettertilde } \defineactivecharacter | {... \localgreek #1->\bgroup \directsetup {enablegreek} {#1}\egroup l.6 \localgreek{mo~usa,} ? B. \usemodule[oldgreek] works with the default font or with Teubner (mark ii and mark iv). But not with Gentium, although the TrueType fonts are installed in texmf-local>fonts>truetype>greek>gentium: !pdfTeX error: pdftex (file gentium): Font gentium at 720 not found ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced! There is no pdf file in the "doc" directory. Maybe a new version is under construction? Why is it better to use the module "ancientgreek"? Thanks, Jörg

Flow chart, XeTeX and transparent colors
