Hi, is there a public DTD (RNC prefered) for the context macro format in cont-en.xml? I also searched for the DTD of the rl-database, but without success. The only thing I found is x-fig-00.dtd, which describes the fig-database format. Greetings, Peter

Define doifoneelse

Hi, I want to define a macro, \doifoneelse, that checks if the first argument is 1 or not. It should work for decimals and strings also. So, \doifoneelse{1}{a}{b} gives a \doifoneelse{1.5}{a}{b} gives b \doifonelese{string}{a}{b} gives b Can someone suggest how to define this? Thanks, Aditya

I uploaded a beta. Brave users met test if their mp graphics still come out well since i cleaned up some of the mp to pdf code. Hallo! I have a problem with indenting. The paragraph following the \placefigure is not indented and I find not any way to achieve this. The following testfile shows the situation: ---------------------------------------------- \setupfloats[indentnext=yes]% <--- Doesn't help! \setupfloat[figure][default={page,high,none}] \setupcaption[figure][number=no] \setupindenting[medium,yes,next] \starttext \dorecurse{2}{\input knuth\par} \placefigure{}{\framed[offset=none, width=\makeupwidth, height=\textheight]{figure}} \indenting[yes]% <--- Doesn't help! \indent {\bf Here!} % <--- Doesn't help! \dorecurse{3}{\input knuth\par} \stoptext ---------------------------------------------- I tryed the 'indentnext=yes' in \setupfloats but I don't know if that option should do what I want or if it has an other meaning. Question about field

I wish to understand how to make nested fields (is it's possible, of course), or better, how to make a tree of field. \clonefield seem to be some work, maybe it's a good place to start. luigi

2DOWN imposition gives blank pages

I'm learning page rearrangements and cannot figure out why the following small example doesn't work (it's similar to those in the cont-eni.pdf manual, fig 3.22). Here it produces a two-page, blank PDF file when I run 'texexec --arrange p2' [ConTeXt ver: 2006.08.08 21:51 fmt: 2006.8.8 int: english mes: english] \setuppapersize[A5][A4] \setuparranging[2DOWN,rotated] \setuplayout[width=fit,margin=0pt] \starttext \input tufte \input tufte \stoptext

Intermediate files in subdirectory

Hello, Is there any way to specify where the intermediate files and log files generated by context end up? Ideally, I would like my working directory to contain tex and pdf files only. All other files could be stored in a subdirectory. That way all these extra files are kept out of sight but close at hand in case you need them.
