sometxt vs textext behaving different

Metapost problem: It seems that sometxt and textext behave different. With sometxt enabled I get: >> unknown picture pic >> sometxt ! This seems strange, because I understood that sometxt was meant as a dropin replacement for textext (except for MP loops, as Hans Hagen mentioned in a previous email). formula block with align and pagebreak

Hello, I have often longer equations of the type \startformula\startalign A = b c B = c d E = g h \intertext{Some intermediate text} F = h j G = k l \stopformula\stopalign I would like to keep the alignment (per page), however I also would like to have automatic page breaks inbetween. I can split it manually into two \startformula\startalign ... \stopformula\stopalign blocks, but this I would have to adapt any time I change something, which changes the text length, before that block. Any idea? Additional question: Does anyone know why in the example the "Gauss' law" starts not at the top of the page but roughly two line further down? Tobias PS: I attached an example.

New bib module release (2006.07.13)

Hi all, After a fairly long list of betas, I have just uploaded a new release of the bibliographic module to contextgarden.net This release fixes three bugs that were still in beta 5: * removed two incorrect spaces from bibl-num.tex * reset the interaction "style" within \type{\cite}, so that font switches from \type{\setupcite} stay in effect * a guard is added against loading bbl files multiple times It should be included automatically in the next context release. Hans et all, We don't understand, why we have to uncomment the commented line in the code below to make section numbers go away? updating minimal distribution

Hello, For some time I was doing ruby /tex/texmf-local/scripts/context/ruby/texsync.rb --update --force --destination=/tex --make to upgrade minimal distribution but it doesn't work for me anymore. Has anything changed in the meantime? Piotr

PDF bookmarks problem

Hello Hans, I've noticed a problem with PDF bookmarks when the particular chapter/section titles contain non-ascii characters and/or XML entities. I suppose some "expansion" mechanism should be added (like for the index entries)... Attached you'll find two test files demonstrating this problem. Thanks, Richard

All, I've been using this construct a lot. \startlinecorrection[blank] \midaligned{\getbuffer[table]} \stoplinecorrection My thinking was that it put a blank before and after, but now I am not sure. Am I missing something?
