Overfull boxes using m-cweb

Hello, I am running into overfull boxes when including a weaved cweb file into a context document. The original reference to the cwebmac.tex file (the plain TeX macro) is commented out and replaced by \usemodule[cweb]. The cweb macros appear to expand something into \*11ptmmmt* which seems to have something to do with it. Is there anyone here with experience and deep (Con)TeX(t) knowledge who understands what is happening? compound titles, lists and headers

Dear list, my publisher forces me to set different things as titles, in headers and table of contents. In some cases \nolist and \nomarking aren't enough. here are my actual definitions: ---- \def\Untertitel#1{\blank[3pt]{\ss\bf #1}\blank} % ok \def\Titel#1#2{{\nohyphens\chapter{#1}\Untertitel{#2}}} % ok \def\KomplexTitel#1#2#3{{\writetolist[chapter]{#3}\nohyphens\title{#1}\U ntertitel{#2}}} ---- with ---- \start \setupheadertexts[][manual entry][part][] % normally defined as [][chapter][part][] \KomplexTitel{Main chapter title}{chapter subtitle}{toc entry} Much text \stop % of other headertext ---- Real life example: \start \setupheadertexts [][Vorwort][][] \KomplexTitel{Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf}% {Vorwort von Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott}% {Vorwort Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott:\\Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf} ... listings.sty

Hello, I suggested to the author of the very feature rich LaTeX-Listings package, Carsten Heinz, to port this package to ConTeXt, and it seems, that he is interested. But before doing it, there are some questions: * What do Hans and other people thing about that? * listings.sty uses keyval.sty, how is the proper ConTeXt-way to do the same things as keyval, or should listings stay with keyval? 2 m-bib questions

Hello, here my m-bib questions: * The lost space after \cite[...], is it a bug or a feature? * I'm going to add some multi-lingual support to m-bib. My idea is, to replace in cont-XX.bst and bibl-XXX.tex "page" by "\pagename", "and" by "\andname" and so on. Is this method ok? If not, how should I do it (not too complicated please ;) ? I've just discovered, that the problem is only with : and ; but not with ? and ! Here my example files: file env.tex: \startenvironment env \useencoding[ffr] \mainlanguage[fr] \stopenvironment file test.tex: \environment env \starttext No space before : nor ; bla: bla; bla? bla! \stoptext Could someone help? Metapost animation

Good evening. First of all I want to thank to Mr. Hagen for his last answer. I will check your last code of balanced columnsets at home (with the newest ConTeXt). As for your correcting code for ordinary collumns, I have tried it with three different types of my documents, and it worked well. Maybe this is the final solution of the problem. I will try it with more documents and let you know, anyway. Now to my next question. I have seen a great thing: Metapost pictures were animated (probably with the JavaScript code). You can found some examples here: http://www.math.muni.cz/~plch/nkpm/nradanm6.pdf http://www.math.muni.cz/~plch/nkpm/nradanm8.pdf (Just click on the `Spustit animaci' button.) Is it possible to do it simply in the ConTeXt? Of course I may break down the mechanism of widgets and write my own JavaScript (I don't know how to do timing), but isn't there some special macro for animating series of figures? It would be great. If so, is Acrobat Reader fast enough to simulate this way the nice feature of MS PowerPoint---curves and shapes that are drawn by pieces, or that appear somewhere and then go to its final location? (This is quite instructive in economics, because you can easily notice which curve is drawn first, what second, and so on.) How can I do it? With many greetings and thanks Michal Kvasnicka

font encodings

Hi all, I want to use a custom font encoding (in my case, enco-agr for ancient Greek). I can't set it up for the entire document because it breaks, e.g., the output of accented letters. But when I try to use it for certain parts of the document only, it will insert a line break whenever it is used. So my question: is it possible to switch font encoding in mid-paragraph? Best Thomas

pdf bookmarks

Hello, I am trying to produce bookmarks in the PDF file produced with context. I can produce bookmarks but I am unable to get any hierarchy of bookmarks such that chapters can just be displayed initially and then the sections open up. I am able to do this in latex, with hyperref, and am looking for a list of commands, or guidance, which would allow me to do the same in context. Thanks David Waller

widow and orphan control

How does one prevent orphans (the first line nof a paragraph on the last line of a page) and widows (the last line of a paragraph on a new page)? If I have the title of a new section that must not be the last line of a page, how can I do this?
