Good morning. I use a fieldstack in my presentation. I'd like to go to the next frame when I click on the figure. Table column width on spanned cells

Hello, In the following example using the "nc" option, the 3 middle columns don't fit the width option. Defining hyphenation sites that will not produce a dash?

Hello My ConTeXted XML document contains a number of constructs like this pRS&thinspace;403&endash;<math><mn>9</mn><mo>×</mo></math>Myc/TEV/URA3/TEV/His8 (molecular genetical plasmid/genotype deinitions - in case you wonder ;0). This predictably produces line break/hyphenation trouble. I'm already using a mapping rule like this \defineXMLargument [hyph] {\-} but I was wondering whether there's an analogue that won't produce a hypneation-dash if the manually defined hyphenation site is used. Chapter-wise bibliographies and multi-chapter citations

I'm collating multiple publications into a thesis and since they all deal with similar themes, there's a lot of overlap. My university requires chapter-specific complete bibliographies, so the status quo is bad for me. Thanks for any hints, Joh

wrapping a long URL without added spaces

I can wrap a long URL using \hyphenatedurl, but not without getting some unwanted spaces before the numerous “/”s in the URL. I expect that I have missed something elementary, again. Still, my efforts to avoid the spaces have thus far been unsuccessful, so any help would be gratefully received. How to set pdf link target view to one columnwidth in twocolumn mode

Dear All, I am wotking in a twocolumn document, I have the proper hyperlinks for references but the problem is that I need the link target to be viewd in full column width while when I click on any link it shows the link target in the view that is set to "pdfview" option to hyperef package. I have gone through the package documentation, there are several possible ways to have the link target view like Fit-to-Width (FitH), Fit-to-Height (FitV), Fit-to-Bounding Box Width (FitBH), Fit-to-Bounding Box Height (FitBV), FitR that uses the current box and several other but none serves to set the link target so that it views the onecolumn text zoomed to fit to width instead of the entire two colmn page. I tried to use "\pdfdest fitr" instead of hypertarget but when I pass 4 coordinates of link target box after "fitr" it just appears in pdf and compiler automatically assigns some other values, how it calculates that and how we can hack/adjust it as per our requirement. (I used following syntax in place of hypertarget "\pdfdest name (ID) fitr x1 y1 x2 y2", where ID is link id, x1, y1, x2, y2 are link target box coordinats) Hope my query is clear still if somebody finds it confusing then please feel free to ask further clarification. Should \setuppapersize automatically assume the same typesetting and printing papersizes, if no optional argument is given? Hello all, I'm a new ConTeXt user (started using it a few days ago) and I do have three problems now with tables which I could not solve reading the manual and the content of the ConTeXt wiki. I've created a minimal example (see below) illustrating my problems: 1. How can create lines with different widths using the "\DL" command as I do with "\HL[<factor>]" oder "\VL[<factor>]"? Strange t-bib behavior

Hello, I attach an example file which produces strange citation behavior: while the single citations ('\cite[authoryears][cordingley:90]' or '\cite[authoryears][walker:94]') work perfectly allright, the dual citation ('\cite[authoryears][cordingley:90,walker:94]') is being screwed up: (Cordingley et al., 1990, Walker, 1994 and , ) Any ideas where the problem lies? Extra tokens will be flushed. <to be read again> directdiscretionary l.54 } enddef \directdiscretionary {; I've just read as much of that statement as I could fathom, so a semicolon should have been next. It's very puzzling... but I'll try to get myself back together, by ignoring everything up to the next `;'. Please insert a semicolon now in front of anything that you don't want me to delete. All, and esp. Hans, Taco, I'm still experimenting with the new moduleparameter mechanism. One thing I can't get to work is using it in a \definefont. When the following test snippet \mainlanguage[sv] \starttext a\index{a} z\index{z}z\index{z+ä} å\index{å}å\index{å+b} ä\index{ä} ö\index{ö} A\index{A} Z\index{Z} Å\index{Å} Ä\index{Ä} Ö\index{Ö} \placeindex \stoptext is processed with cont-tmf.zip from 2006-04-07 12.29 and justtex.zip and mswintex.zip from 13.23 a bad index is produced.The Swedish letters are listed as ... and the sublevel entries are just listed as they are in the input. It worked in the beta. What am I doing wrong?
