Hello, ConTeXt 2005.08.19 indents the first paragraph, when there is a placefigure. Does anybody already know this problem, and perhaps a solution? Example: \setupindenting[small] \setupindenting[small] \def\Text{\dorecurse{400}{text }} \starttext \section{test} \Text % here it's ok \section{test} \placefigure{}{\externalfigure[bla][width=0.6\textwidth]} \Text % here is a problem \stoptext TIA for any hint! Hello, I would like to do some spreadsheet like calculations with ConTeXt. Before using the same package, I've used once upon a time with LaTeX (realcalc), I would like to know, if there are already some macros for calculations in ConTeXt, or if you could recommend some method, how to do that. Continuous chapter numbering

Hi all, I have a technical manual setup in ConTeXt whereby the manual itself is a ConTeXt 'project' and each chapter is a different component. Within this, I need to group some chapters together so these grouped chapters are products. Thus, I have: project: MyManual component: Chapter 1 component: Chapter 2 component: Chapter 3 product: Example 1 component: Chapter 4 component: Chapter 5 product: Example 2 component: Chapter 6 component: Chapter 7 product: Example 3 component: Chapter 8 component: Chapter 9 ... Is there a way to have the chapter numbers be continuous rather than resetting at the beginning of each product? I have already disabled product numbers in a setupheader command but I'm stumped at how to make the chapter numbers continuous. I've tried playing with "incrementnumber=file" but I'm not sure this appropraite... any hints here would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks! Hello, I'am starting with a PhD and I'm thinking about using xml/mathml and context. I'm a bit confused with all the different ways to combine xml and context, native xml, fo, xslt, texml, docbook, ... What is the most promising way to do this? MathML: Please ignore <mo>⁡</mo>

Salvete, I just started to think about using ConTeXt on XML input files, so I've got a question which should be easy to answer: My MathML source generates presentation code which includes <mo>⁡</mo> between a function symbol and its arguments. I get a black rectangle for that; I'd like ConTeXt to ignore this character, where do I define it as “nothing”? regards, Christopher

font scaling in typescripts

This may be a bug, or I may be missing something... I have defined a typescript for my Adobe Garamond, and I want Courier as the monotype font accompanying it. Since Courier is a bit too big compared to Garamond, I want to scale it down, so I have this line in my typescript (yes, I have adapted my own Courier, I have given up on all the changes in names etc. in the latest teTeX releases): \definefontsynonym [Courier] [texnansi-Courier sa 0.9] [encoding=texnansi] This works almost perfectly; Courier is scaled exactly like I want it. There's one small problem: the first occurrence of monotype in the document will print "sa 0.9 at 12.0pt" just before the passage in monotype. This happens only once in the document, but it doesn't look very nice. Bug or feature? Best Thomas

Interactive things and exact placement of graphics

Hi, I have some questions again. :-) I want to draw a figure with metafun and place this on an exact place like x=3cm,y=4cm. This figure will be build of some figures which I draw with Metafun. In which way I do this? Whith layers? How should it looks like? Get some small layer with only one figure together in a big layer? And when I've build this graphic I want to put text into it and the whole graphic should be interactive. I want to lay a hyperlink over this to the web or another page in my document. Is this possible and in which way? thx jessica

Getting icelandic letters (eth and thorn) to work.

Hello. I am trying to get the icelandic letters thorn (þ) and eth (ð) to work but nothing seems to do. These letters work correctly in LaTeX and I am using ConTeXt and LaTeX from the TeTeX distribution. The file I currenty have is like this (It's in ISO 8859-1 encoding): ========= % interface=en output=pdftex \enableregime[il1] % sets input encoding il1 = ISO 8859-1 \mainlanguage[is] % Á að setja á íslensku \setupencoding[default=ec] \useencoding[ec] \starttext aábcdðeéfghiíjklmnoópqrstuúvxyzþæö AÁBCDÐEÉFGHIÍJKLMNOÓPQRSTUÚVXYZ\Thorn{}ÆÖ \stoptext ========= And it gets run (although I had to change Þ to \Thorn{} to get it running) but when I view the .pdf file I just see question marks where the thorns and eths should be. Some version info from texexec: TeXExec 3.1 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1997-2002 This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.14159-1.10b-2.1 (Web2C 7.4.5) ConTeXt ver: 2003.1.31 fmt: 2005.10.15 int: english mes: english If anyone knows what could be wrong I would very much appreciate some help! interaction between header texts and typing environments

I'm trying to have header texts on every page. There are also some long typing environments in the document. It seems that when the page breaks within the typing environment processing the header texts leads to an error. If I put a \ifprocessingverbatim\else .... \fi around the table in the header text, I do not get the error. So I should turn off the typing environment temporarily to get the header text out. How should I do that? \stoptyping ... \starttyping do not do it. presentation styles empty front page

I have a problem with the presentation styles s-pre-xx. Since I used them previously (about 2-3 years ago) now an EXTRA blank page appears up at the front of the series of sheets. I am positive this did not occur in the past, since I did not change my files. Because I tried some different presentation styles and they all show the extra page, my suspicion is that it could originate somewhere in s-pre-00 (pre-general). processing of setvariables/getvariables again

Hi all, excuse me for being so pig-headed, but I'm running into the same problem I had two weeks ago. Peter Rolf was incredibly helpful, but I couldnt get things working. It is more a problem of architecture and general choices, IMHO, than of actual code. I tried every single part of what I want to achieve, and it works. The difficulty lies in getting the variables to work... Basic problem: I want to refine my greek module. It provides a command \setupgreek[font=,scale=] which sets variables fonts and scale in the namespace Greek. The command is defined in the module, so in order to use it, the module has to be read. BUT: I want to use the result [i.e. \getvariable {Greek}{font} and \getvariable{Greek}{scale}] within the module itself. Is this possible? Details: I want to organize the fonts in a typescript to be more flexible. So the module first defines the setupcommand: \def\setupgreek{\setvariables[Greek]} then it calls the typescript \usetypescriptfile[type-tasgreek] where all the Greek fonts are defined in this form: \starttypescript [serif] [GreekGentium] [agr] \definefontsynonym [Greekgentium-Roman] [genagr-GentiumAlt] [encoding=agr] \definefontsynonym [Greekgentium-Italic][genagr-GentiumAItI] [encoding=agr] \stoptypescript \starttypescript [serif] [GreekGentium] [name] \usetypescript[serif][fallback] \definefontsynonym [Serif] [Greekgentium-Roman] \definefontsynonym [SerifItalic] [Greekgentium-Italic] \definefontsynonym [SerifBold] [Serif] \definefontsynonym [SerifBoldItalic] [Serif] \stoptypescript So the module calls the typescriptfile (or would it be more elegant to include these typescripts in the module itself?) I then have the definition for the command \localgreek which contains, among other things, a call of the Greek font. I had been planning to implement it in this form: \definetypeface [My\getvariable{Greek}{font}] [rm] [serif] [\getvariable{Greek}{font}] [default] [rscale = \getvariable{Greek} {font},encoding=agr] and then, in the setups for \localgreek, \switchtobodyfont[My\getvariable{Greek}{font}] And that's where I'm banging my head against the wall: the module would be used like this \usemodule[t-greek] \setupgreek[font=GreekGentium,scale=0.9] Which means: the entire module will be read BEFORE the \setupgreek command. But I would need the values of the setupgreek command WITHIN the module. Is that possible at all? Would I have to call a third file where the values are then processed? I tried to look into the source how \setup commands work, but I do get the impression that collecting the values and processing them is done in different files. Is this necessary? And how could I implement it in one module? Sorry if this sounds confusing, but I'm pretty confused, and hoping for enlightenment from the wizzards. All best Thomas

Salvete, according to texshow, \externalfigure accepts scale as an option. Dear ConTeXt users, I am a beginner of this amazing software. I am just wondering if any one can offer me a simple example for setting up slides format, so that I can play around with it and get better sense of what it can do. It is best if the example can have interaction features and some backgrounds choices. What I have is the windows XP distribution, Miktex, Winedt. Problems with Natural Tables

Hello ConTeXters, my girlfriend writes her dimploma thesis now and I talked her into using ConTeXt, but now I'm not sure anymore that this was the right thing to do. So, the problems are numerous and some of them are: - how do I set the spacing between a vertical line (between two columns) and the text inside that columns? I already used "framedoffest=-3pt", but the output is unacceptable. - how do I center the whole table? This one is really crucial: my GF also accepts hacks ;). - why doesn't \splitfloat{\placetable...} work with Natural Tables? (They won't get splitted at all, but with tables and linetables it works...) - how do I refer to tables then? I have chosen Natural Tables because they were the only one that splitted correctly (tables and linetables let out 2/3 of a page). So, that's all for now. bye, Adam.

Hello Taco, Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, the result is the same. I have attached an example that redefines the appearance of the subject title. Change \mysubject to \mycapsubject in \setuphead and watch it fail. Cheers, Michael

Hello, I would like to replace the default subject title with one that is centered and a bit stretched. Besides the examples in core-fnt.tex, I found found the following example on the mailing list. \def\CapStretchAmount{0.3em} \def\CapStretch#1{\def\stretchedspaceamount{\CapStretchAmount}\stretchednormalcase{#1}} \def\mysubject#1#2{\midaligned{\CapStretch{\sc #2}}} \setuphead [subject][command={\mysubject}] The \CapStretch macro works as advertised, but assigning it to the command argument in \setuphead invokes the following error: The control sequence marked <to be read again> should not appear between \csname and \endcsname. margin kerning problem

Sorry for the flurry of questions. But here’s one about margin kerning now. I see that by using \usetypescript[serif,sans,mono,mm][hanging][normal] \setupalign[hz,hanging] I can get margin kerning in the body text, but not in any footnotes/ endnotes. What else is needed to get margin kerning throughout the notes too? As ever, any advice will be gratefully received. Alan

Hello everybody, I might be silent, but not without a new gift for you. I have updated the http://articles.contextgarden.net section in the garden. Well, it looks pretty much the same as before, but a tiny visible enhancement on the right side: a search box. I have added a full-text search engine, and you can now search through most context related articles. Currently this is only most of the MAPS and one article from the PracTeX journal, but expect more to come in the next few days. Imagine all manuals, myways and other texts in the index and you can search and dowload (if available) them directly. And without noise: you can only find articles that deal with ConTeXt. Yes this works. Thx, But I've testet it with godown=0pt When I say this is to much distance between the "kastens" and comment "\godown=0pt" out there is the same strange thing. When I comment it on all my pages out there is a bigger distance between the first and second "kasten". Why? Why only on this point? Where does it comes from? How can I disable this? Hi I have a problem... I I don't know in which way I should solve... I've make a presentation. It's not very fine done but I'm proud that this works :-) I've made a graphic in metafun and make a overlay with this as the background. Then I defined a framed box with the same values as the graphic, use the overlay as a background and nice I have my menu. But then I make a small space with \godown and now the framed section goes down and up from page to page. This phenomenon is only when I do the link (\goto) on the whole framed. When I put the link on the text there is no problem. Hope aou understand my problem it's difficult to understand. Salvete, I know the MathML spec is inconsistent. I believe the following should be changed, though: <mfenced><mi>x</mi><mi>y</mi></mfenced> currently renders as $(xy)$, while the spec says (3.3.8.1) it should be $(x,y)$. Fix: xtag-mmp.tex, line 105, change from \def\MMLpFENCED#1#2% {\getXMLarguments{mfenced}{open="(" close=")" separators="" #1}% to \def\MMLpFENCED#1#2% {\getXMLarguments{mfenced}{open="(" close=")" separators="," #1}% <mo>⁡</mo> and its equivalent forms should not produce output. <mfenced open=""><mi>x</mi></mfenced> leads to an error, since the \left. at the beginning is missing. (Unlikely to appear in everyday maths, but can happen.) In my reading of 3.2.3.2, <mi>a</mi> should be italic, but <mi>abc</mi> should be upright. Modes for configuration

Following the example in the ConTeXt Wiki (http:// wiki.contextgarden.net/Modes) I have defined an environment file that specifies two modes (screen, print) for the production of the same source file. This works well when the appropriate texexec commands are given at the command line. The problem is that I am trying to set this production up for users who are happier with a GUI. Is there a way to do generate diverse outputs from the same source file without resorting to the command line? I have experimented with TeXShop—the users tend to works on Macs —but without success thus far. Thanks for any suggestions. Alan

learning path

Hi everybody, I wish to set up kind of a "learning path" (= "pedagogic" progression bar, like in http://www.dokeos.com/scorm_compliant_course_content.php) in the inner margin of documents issued of a project/product/component structure. Ideally, this learning path will look like 2 full bars with percentage indication, one for project, the other for product. I've seen progression spots in Hans'presentations, but far from able to reproduce them. I'm thinking that those indicators get their names "automatically", on each new component or product made under a same project, either via a variable mecanisme or another one I don't know yet. Graphically, the whole mecanism must stay in a light color to not overcome the content. TIA for any answer -- Olivier TURLIER

Hello, i have some problems with an selfcreated typescriptfile. Until one of the last context-updates everythin works fine. The font I use is from the hfbright package (the hfbright package is a free version of the cmbright font) but when I created that typescript I did't relalize that a full font package was available and I renamed the fonts (therefore I will not provide that ugly typescript file here). I don't know what has changed but the german ß is not working any more. I use as font encoding ec and as regime win. I'm a bit confused where exactly my problem lies: either the encoding is wrong, but I do't know which one is right because in the latex package hfbright the encoding is called OT1. Has anyone an idea how to fix this problem or can anyone help me to set up a context module like the hfbright-module? Many thanks Wolfgang

Chinese in utf-8

Hi all. I have ConTeXt set up to output Chinese using usemodule[chinese], all fonts, encodings and maps are installed and the sample file works well. Now I have a whole load of Chinese text in utf-8 encoding. Can ConTeXt process this, or do I have to convert it to another encoding? I tried \enableregime[utf] and \useencoding[uc] but it just produced black blobs instead of Chinese characters. I hope ConTeXt can do it? :-) Thanks, Duncan

Arabic transliteration macros

Dear syndicate, I have been using some ugly/naive macros for scientific transliteration of Arabic up to now. I recently overhauled these after studying the enco-def.tex method. These might be useful for others who have to transliterate Arabic. (I have written my own scientific transliteration by the way, based on the German ZDMG system:) http://www.gsp-online.org/journals/journaldocs/shi/transliteration.pdf imacron occurs very frequently in Arabic transliteration, in virtually every system. In Latin Modern the macron on the `i' is too large and looks really bad when used frequently. I've redefined it, and would suggest that, for lmr anyway, that something like the imacron definition below works much better than the default. On the other hand, I need to make the imacron definition more general to include the bold case (which needs a thicker macron). How can I add a conditional to the macro definition of \itextmacron so that it selects its argument based on whether \tf (and the like) or \bf (and the like) is in effect? I wish that TeX had a simple \iffont test but maybe there is an easy way to do that? If there are any other suggestions or comments to improve or streamline this, please let me know. Lines such as cmbsy10 cmbsy10 cmbsy5 cmbsy5 cmbsy6 cmbsy7 should become either cmbsy10 default cmbsy10 cmbsy5 default cmbsy5 cmbsy6 default cmbsy7 partucularly when the name of the tfm and pfb do differ; or just cmbsy10 cmbsy5 cmbsy6 where the name of the tfm and pfb do NOT differ. Otherwise dvipdfmx will fail-( Probably easier to just do <tfm> <default> <pfb> for all cases... Hi, thanks for your answer :-) These tipps will help a lot and answers a piece of my questions. With metafun I produced a graphic an the text comes in with \framed like its described in metafun and this works fine. The exact positioning is a problem but it works, not total like my suggestions, with a table. I've read mwidget and I have a question. Is it possible to mak a goto to a exact site in my document? I've read of next, previous and other documents but can I say something like "goto page 5 of the document" ? thx Jessica

bib module: interaction (wish)

Hello all, and Taco in particular, I'm a great fan of interaction, and I was wondering about what kind of interaction the BibTeX module could support. I'm thinking of two of them in particular. One of them is the obvious link to list of references on click. However, I'm also a great fan of balloons, so I was thinking of something like a popup-on-hover showing the full reference, thus sparing the need to go back-and-forth through the document. (Can these things be optimized so that the popup is only stored once in the PDF?) A potential problem would be with compressed citations, but I guess that in this case making only the displayed numbers active is the right solution. -- Giuseppe "Oblomov" Bilotta

How can to do it? I tried with wiki. I'm able to use a .mov, but not an .mpg. What does it depends on? Can I play a .wav from inside the pdf? Thanks -a-

Anchoring layer

I'm trying to write a module that will mimick the behavior of crop.sty in LaTeX (providing fancier cropmarks than the ones given by the ConTeXt \setuplayout command). I'm done with the code for the cropmarks, and this is working fine. Now I want to have a status line in between the two top marks. How can I give an absolute position for a layer that will put this line midaligned and exactly, say 0.5cm above the level of the upper corners of the page? What I tried so far is: \composedlayer and something like \setlayer[y=2cm] - will only be on the first page, not repeated; \framed - I can give the frame a height like 1.3\textheight, but then the position will not be fixed, but change with the textheight I guess there must be a trivial solution, but I haven't found it yet... I would *really* this to be taken into consideration. Rationale: things like formulas, itemgroups and the like (basically, everything that allows indentnext) are "displays". "Displays" are parts of the document that are embedded in a paragraph but are "put in display" by appropriate indenting & other tricks. Now, there are cases in which the paragraph continues after the display, and cases when it doesn't. 1. Does t-bib now support multiple bibliographies? For past issues of the journal, I had to define a new bib-env file for each article that required a bibliography, otherwise the bibliography of, say, article two would include the bibliography for article one. Is there a general solution for this? 2. Can t-bib extract the references and place them in alphabetical order, or do I have to still organize my bbl files alphabetically by hand (I really hope not->)? Automatic alphabetizing bbl file data in the output has been one of my major wishes for t-bib. If the above two are solved I can use a single master bbl file for the entire journal instead of multiple files, thus streamlinig much of my workflow. Bib-module: crossreferences

Hi Taco, Are crossreferences supposed to work in the new bib module? According to the Latex companion pp. 404ff. a crossreference can be made in an @inbook to a @book provided the @inbook precedes the @book in a .bib-file. If a @book is referenced at least two times by an @inbook, an entry for the @book is included in the reference list. In the new bibtex-module for Context, the crossreferences are resolved properly, I think, but the crossreferenced entry is not yet included in the reference list. I \cite[gould:1979] and \cite[rioch:1979], but lawrence:1979 doesn't appear in the reference list. I thought I had understood at least some aspects of macros, but it turns out I'm as lost as always. Here's my problem: I'm writing a module which will have a \setupcommand. The value is given in a [key=pair] list, so I thought I could use \getvariable. What I have is \def\setupcommand{\setvariables[namespace]} % setting up the namespace \setvariables[namespace][key=value,otherkey=value] % initializing the keys % And now I want to wrap my values up in a conditional statement: \doifelse{\getvariable{namespace}{key}}{value} {do something} {do something else} When I put the \doifelse statement into my source files, the test works; the key is assigned the value that is in the setupcommand. But this doesn't work at runtime: either \getvariable{namespace}{key} always has the value I assign in the line \setvariables[namespace] [key=value,otherkey=value], or if I comment out that line, the variable is empty. I can see why this is the case: the setupcommand is read AFTER the module, so at runtime, the variable is not assigned yet. So my approach seems fundamentally flawed. What could I do instead? Texfont map file.

I always believed that when referring to a file in a \font statement one should use the first name found in the appropriate line in the map file. This is supposedly the name of the tfm file for that particular font. However texfont produces a map file like this: 8r-raw-AGaramond-Italic AGaramond-Italic 4 < AGaramond-Italic.pfb 8r.enc 8r-raw-AGaramond-Regular AGaramond-Regular 4 < AGaramond-Regular.pfb 8r.enc 8r-raw-AGaramond-RegularSC AGaramond-RegularSC 4 < AGaramond-RegularSC.pfb 8r.enc ...and texfont actually produces two tfm files per font. The correct name to use in a \font statement is the second name in the generated map file statement, not the first. Since not all map file statements have the second parameter this can be confusing. Since texfont attempts to provide for both pdftex and Context users this little gotcha should be referenced in the texfont manual. PDF v1.6 inclusion

Hi. I'm trying to include some PDF files generated by Acrobat 7, which means they are PDF v1.6. ConTeXt (recent distribution, on linux) complains that "PDF version 1.6: Xpdf only supports 1.5". I thought that maybe I could switch to using Ghostscript instead of Xpdf-tools to process the files, in the hope that ghostscript would support 1.6, but I'm stymied trying to pass the correct parameter via texexec. New ConTeXt with old teTeX problem?

Good evening. After some time I tried to install the newest ConTeXt over my old teTeX in SuSE Linux 9.2. Everything seems to work. I use texexec version 5.4.3 with ConTeXt version 2005.08.31. ConTeXt gives this warning: systems : pdfTeX version 110 -> please update systems : eTeX version 201 -> too old (bugs) Then it failes on the minimal file: % output=pdf \starttext text \stoptext and gives this error: ! Missing { inserted. <to be read again> r <argument> \pdfobj r eserveobjnum {}\setxvalue \pdffontresource {\the \pdflas... \firstofoneargument #1->#1 <argument> ...tencoding }\to \everybeforeshipout } \fi \fi \ifcsname \pdffont... \firstofoneargument #1->#1 \doincludepdffontresource ...cludepdffontresource \fi ... l.5 \stoptext What's the problem? The old pdfetex? How can I upgrade it without reinstalling the whole SuSE system? I wouldn't mind to reject the teTeX and use Pragma's mimimum TeX distribution, but it does'nt include Metafont and I still need some .mf bitmapped fonts. Can you help me please? Dear Friends, I have updated miktex and context today. Latex works normally, but I can't get context working right. cont-en and cont-nl are causing problems. Miktex cannot generate an (e)fmt file of cont-en, con-nl. Last time I upgraded, something was wrong with the English hyphenation files. This time something else must be the matter; even though hyphenation in several languages apparently is not installed. texexec --make nl generates the same problem. Interestingly, messages are in Dutch. I would be grateful for any help! Curious instruction from Texfont

Ran texfont and things seemed to go well. The test program worked. But in the map file I find this curious instruction: --------------------------------- % Alternatively in your TeX source you can say: % % \pdf {+8r-nasa-nasal.map} % ----------------------------------------------- Using pdftex the above statement just causes an error. What am I misunderstanding here? Salvete, which tables allow using \noalign and in what places? First issue: Under some strange circumstances (perhaps if the bbl file and tex file have the same name?), sometimes the list of publications gets repeated. Couple of index questions/bugs

I have a couple of index questions and bugs to report. Here comes: 1. When I use newtexexec, the sorting disregards an initial capital letter, sorting Hans under a; 2. Again in newtexexec, \seeindex is broken. The outpput it produces is see XXX, :0]-, and it gives an error message that I append at the end of the mail. The same file ran with texexec.pl compiles fine and produces correct ouptut. 3. In makeidx, it is possible to give the pagereference in the index a certain format with code like this \index{keyword|textit} so that the page-number will appear in Italics. (I don't know dutch, but I guessed that \definieerlijst[pubs] was the key list-governing macro->) This was the only way I could get multiple bibliographies in one document. I used mptopdf in August and it worked at that time. I last updated ConTeXt (the package containing mptopdf) on 5th September (version 2005-07-27). This is the whole output when mptopdf is run for a simple mp file: ------------------------------------------------------- E:\Temp>mptopdf filename -fmt=mptopdf: unknown option MPtoPDF 1.3 : filename.* is converted to filename-1.pdf ------------------------------------------------------- The last statement doesn't hold (no file created at all). "filename.1" is OK and mptopdf also works perfectly with the standalone ConTeXt distribution, but not under MikTeX. The funny part is also this one (from mptopdf.pl): if ($miktex) { $command = "pdfetex -fmt=mptopdf" } -fmt doesn't seem to exist in MikTeX (any more?). I tried pdfetex --help, but didn't find any useful switches to compensate for "-progname=context" except "-alias", but I didn't know how to use it. I'm a bit lost. I noticed that the MikTeX package repository was updated in the last days, so I tried to update the system (for the first time in my life I've chosen to update only the context.cab since I'm working on modem), but now the most crucial parts keep crashing (initexmf, kpsewhich, ...), so I that I can't even work any further and thus can't check yet if the new package brings any changes or not. Beta bib module release

Hi, I have prepared a beta release of the bibliography module, and uploaded it as http://tex.aanhet.net/bib/m-bib-beta-20050927.zip Because it is only a beta, I have not fixed the documentation yet. The differences between this version and the one in the ConTeXt distribution are outlined below. I know that the wishlist is quite long, and there are even still bugs I have not looked into, but I have to release *something* otherwise nothing will ever happen. Internally, this uses the new 'u=' argument to \startpublication. * Also, \cite[doi][key] now actually does generate the doi in the text (this uses the 'o=' argument to \startpublication) * Finally, you can get selected data bits from a publication by using \getcitedata [url] [garden] to \gardenlink (in this case, \gardenlink will be \def-ed to the value of the \url{..} field in the bib item with label 'garden'). Discontinued: * I have removed t-bibltx.tex. All it did was define the \newcommand command, and you are better off using the new latex emulation module for that. * I dropped support for the INSTITUTE field in bibtex (it was never actually used anyway)
