Dear listmates, I rely on automated uppercasing and lowercasing a lot and I’m very happy with the \words and \WORD macros. But I can’t find a way to properly combine them with the “style” parameter of highlights: it breaks frames and enumerations. FLOWcharts - connector line length?

Hi, I've just fallen in love with the chart module, my first flowchart is almost done. I'll never draw these "by hand" again... Besides, it seems that the chart module forces me to do flowcharts "right", that should help with consistency and legibility. Now I just have to read a bit on how to do charts properly! I've figured out about text font and box sizes and making connections and all that, but there's one important question that I just can't seem to find the answer for: how do I adjust the connector line length? My labels just don't fit between the boxes and I'd have a whole A4 for a ny=5 flowchart, so I'd have space... (Oh, the other question is: is there a way to span a cell across several slots on the grid? If not, I can deal with *that*, the line is a lot more of a problem.) Dear gang, I have a paper done in ConTeXt that I would like to put online. I _could_ manually convert my input to markdown, but I was wondering if the xml/xhtml export options could be used to accomplish the same thing. Although I have done a lot of doc-to-context conversions via pandoc (doc->odt->markdown->context) I have never needed to go the other way till now. What would you guys suggest? Is there a way to convert context's xml/xhtml to markdown? (Note that I know little about html, css etc). One thing (bug?) I have noticed: bibliographic info gets lost in the backend export, so I end up with a lot of Xxxxxxxx (0000) etc in the output. Isn't there a tmp file the export backend can access to pick up this info? Any advice appreciated and Best wishes Idris

multitone color problem

Dear list, Presently I am working on a book that contains many musical examples, some of them rather large (even page-filling). It is difficult to predict where they will finally be placed, at least when I do not want to spoil the layout too much by forcing every example to be placed at the point where it occurs in the .tex-file. So when dicussing an example I always refer to it with \in{ex.}{ref} and \at{page}[ref]. Sometimes however the example is placed at the same page as the text discussing it. Is there any trick to adapt the reference to this situation, so that, instead of saying, for instance, "ex. 3.4 on page 12", it just says "ex. 3.4", or "ex. 3.4 below" or even "ex. 3.4 on this page"? (One imagines that in the last stage of typesetting the file ConTeXt "knows" that the reference and the referenced float will be on the same page, but I have no clue how I could use this knowledge.) Metapost/Metafun Q: using variables and "building blocks"?

Hello all, any graphic experts around who can bump me past a stupid hinder on my way to understanding MPgraphics? I'm trying to create a system of describing certain type of braiding patterns (fingerloop braiding), based on what has been used in the field before me - but they did it all manually either by pen or computer, and I just do not fancy doing 40+ patterns by hand in Inkscape, especially as my pattern recipe book keeps expanding and I'm planning on that, too. I think Metapost could be the solution, because I need simple shapes and sometimes complicated but well-regulated paths/arrows to go between them; I'm just being a clueless newbie, too much in the WYSIWYG vector graphics mode to really know what to do. Mostly with the examples in the Metafun manual I've managed to get as far as to my basic building block, two circles joined by a curve: \startMPpage path p, q, r ; p := fullcircle scaled 8mm ; q := p shifted (0cm,24mm) ; r := center p .. I realize I can do that with "shift", but should I make my single 'building block' a group, a buffer or overlay or something else? Keeping in mind that I will have to be able to draw a path/arrow on top, so I need to know where they are. (At some point I need to expand to more columns, but the number of rows is still 4 as we have humans have just four aligned fingers per hand - thumbs aren't counted - but one can add hands i.e. people to work wider braids.) b) The circles p and q can be filled with the same colour or two different colours, and each of the blocks in a pattern can have different fill colour (e.g. two totally black, two totally white, two half-and-half with either black or white on top). The pen/outline colour should stay as black, which means that I can't implement the symbol example in the Metafun manual (the smiley that is totally switched from black to red). I don't mind having different blocks for monocoloured and bicoloured versions, but it would be nice to be able to say something like \usesloop[lh,blue] for 'take a single-coloured left-hand loop in blue' instead of having to dig deeper into the MP code every time. I assume the answer is "use variables", but how? I used millimeters here because it just feels more natural to me, that's what textile crafts does (when not based on inches like quilting and scrapbooking...). The measurements won't be shown anywhere - these are graphs or pictograms, not real pictures - so I can still switch to using something else. Besides, if the "building block" approach works, there isn't that much to be changed, get the first block right and the rest can be calculated from there. Any ideas on how I can achieve the ease that surely exists somewhere there? I'll take plain Metapost or a combination of Metapost and Metafun + ConTeXt as I'll use ConTeXt anyway to achieve multi-format output with a minimum of fuss. Help thankfully received, as always, Mari PS. Today's craft related metaphor: I feel just like I was staring at a messed up skein of yarn: I know that I'm now holding one of the ends, I thus can start to untangle the knot - and the more I pry loose, the less there's left to sort out. Hi there, I'm afraid that note numbering in body text is wrong in latest beta (the bug was also in previous beta). Here you have a sample that shows the bug: \setupnotation[footnote][number=no] \setuphead[chapter][number=no] \starttext \chapter{First chapter} one\footnote{two} \section{First section} three\footnote{four} \stoptext There should be no note numbering, but the body text takes the sectioning command number for the footnote references (which is obviously wrong). Cross-document referencing not working!

Hi ConTeXt User's, I'm struggling with cross-document referencing, but can't get it working! When I for example use \useexternaldocument[tst][test][A test external] together with \from[tst] the test.pdf file is correctly opened in Acrobat Reader. But the \in{section}[tst::crossref] doesn't open the test.pdf file at all?! The jump to the 'crossref' section doesn't seem to work! Please take a look at the two included test files. I first compile test.tex followed by the compilation of crossref.tex. Currently I use: ConTeXt ver: 2012.01.25 14:16 MKIV fmt: 2012.2.7 int: english/english. Regards, Gerard Verhaag

Non-Printing PDFs with ConTeXt

Hi all, Is there a way I can get ConTeXt to produce PDFs that are not-printable? Just as a background to my question: This is not about copyright. Rather, I am using ConTeXt to produce quality process documents. The quality management system requires that all quality process documents be "controlled", that is one must prevent folks from printing copies of their own that then keep floating around the place and cannot be retracted when a new version of the quality process document is issued. Hence, I am aiming for a paper-less scenario where everyone reads the documents on screen. Therefore, I would like to make printing impossible, or at least hard. The only one who should be able to print the document is the Document Manager; maybe the documents could be encrypted (PDF supports that, I believe), such that the Document Manager can print them knowing the password. So far, I have only seen Word and Acrobat Distiller being able to do this. Is there a way I can setup ConTeXt to do this? Or are there some command line tools, that can do that after the PDF has been produced? Any hints would be great. Thank you, Malte.

I am putting together a needed resume and learning context at the same time. What I want is or should be simple, but I am not familiar with which options to set. I am using the following, because I don't want to use any margin for some forgotten reason, just text area. MetaPost circular_shade Command

The command circular_shade(fullcircle scaled 4in,0,white,red); in MetaPost does not act as I think it should. It performs a gradient fill starting at the center of the circle by filling this center in white (which is expected), and changing the color as the radius/diameter changes (which is also expected), but the final radius appears to have a RGB color of about (1,0.29,0.29) which is not red (thus is unexpected) since red = (1,0,0). However, the command circular_shade(unitsquare shifted (-0.5,-0.5) scaled 4in,0,white,red); creates a gradient filled square whose center is white and whose northeast, northwest, southwest, and southeast corner are red (as somewhat expected) and thus whose east, north, west, and south tip are about (1,0.29,0.29) like the circle. I would appreciate an explanation of why this acts like it does, and (more importantly), let me know how I can get a gradient filled circle whose center gets filled with a RGB color c and outer radius color d. Clearly, circular_shade(fullcircle scaled 4in,0,c,d); does not do this. Thanks in advance, Troy Henderson

Problem with \inmargin on \item lines

Hi everyone, I am experiencing a problem with \inmargin{some text} in \itemized lists. I am using them a lot in my documents, and it is kind of annoying. It appears that if one uses the \inmargin macro just prior to the \item macro, the in-margin text is typeset against the previous line, not the line with the \item. Minimal example. \starttext \startitemize \item This is just a normal completely innocent paragraph against which one will be able to judge the amount of indentation of the next paragraph. \inmargin{Duck}\item This paragraph has a duck inmargin comment \stopitemize \stoptext That seems fair enough and even makes sense on some level. If however, one reverses the two macros, like so: \item\inmargin{Duck} This paragraph has a duck inmargin comment the leading space just after the closing brace is actually printed. I take this to be a bug, or is this by design? The only way I can around this is to not use a space, like so: \item\inmargin{Duck}This paragraph has a duck inmargin comment But I don't find that to be a satisfying solution. After all I am using ConTeXt because I am a bit pedantic about text, even the source code in this case. Regards, Malte.

Is it expected behavior? If yes, how can I increase/set value for "number"-command (counter) then? P.S. I tried with commented `\setupbodyfont', all is ok. LuaTeX error after update to ubuntu 12.04

After updating to ubuntu 12.04, my shouts of joy were smothered by the following !LuaTeX error: cannot find OpenType font file for reading () ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced! mtx-context | fatal error: return code: 70 I ran mtxrun --script fonts --reload, updated to the latest context version, ran luatools --generate and context --make and still am presented with the above error message after 10-15 minutes of paralysing processing. The compiling seems to run as always, until it reaches the last page, at which point the computer freezes and takes about 10 minutes to present me with the error. Uncovering Slides in a Presentation with Progress Meter

I am trying to uncover content within an itemized list, and I am using \phantom to get the desired effect. However, I would like to tweak the progress meter to consider these "pages" as the same instead of separate. But I would like to have two automatically-generated lists from the \dict command. The first list should contain all \dict entries alphabetically ordered. The second list should contain all \dict entries but grouped by page in which they occur (having a \subject{Page [number]} title) and alphabetically ordered. I don't even know what to search. Using \phantom to hide an itemized item does not reserve the (vertical) space for the item as I expect. That is, in the following example \starttext \startitemize \item Foo \phantom{\item Bar} \item Boo \stopitemize \stoptext the second item is hidden, but in fact, the space for that item has not been allocated at all. I have been wrestling with this for hours and I'm sure there's a real easy fix. Just that it's eluding me. How can I use \definedescription to set a combination style? e.g. Below I can get a capitalized description header: \definedescription[rsection][location=left,width=broad,headstyle=cap] but, I also want it to be bold. That is a bold+cap at the same time. I tried \bf\cap as a headcommand but it didn't seem to work, as was just ignored. Regards

Rendering differences between PDF viewers

Hey list, I've noticed an unfortunate visual difference in my document's colours when rendered with Evince 2.32.0 where they come out as expected (or even with Zathura) against Adobe Reader 9.5.7. Registers with distinguishable entries.

Dear list, For a book in the area of musicology I would like to make one register with entries of different kinds, distinguishable by their appearance in the register (or index or whatever). The index entries will mostly be authors, including composers, musical terms and musical compositions. The titles of the compositions and the foreign words are set in italic characters throughout in the text of the book. What I would like is to be able to distinguish all entries according to whether they are treated in the text, are shown in a musical example, or are mentioned only in a foot- or endnote. In many books page numbers indicating illustrations are set in italics. Pagenumbers indicating foot- or endnotes often have a suffix "n". Furthermore, when an indexed item is discussed on a number of consecutive pages, usually a range is given in the index, like 144-53, or 143 ff. Can all this be done in ConTeXt, and if so, can anybody give me advice on how to do it? I have tried making three different Registers, for text, for illustrations and for notes, but I cannot figure out how to combine them into one index. But also, whatever I set in \setupregister, they all look exactly the same: textstyle regular, pagestyle slanted. Moreover, in \setupindex (or whatever other name for the register), [indicator=no] is ignored. Are these bugs or am I doing things the wrong way? I add a (not so) minimal example. Outside of changing "location" to "alternative" in the \definedescription command parameters, what else do I need to change to make the example run with MkIV? Scaling in setuplayout does not work with setuparranging

Hi, I'm using the latest beta and tried to arrange two slides on a single A4 sheet. I've defined my own paper size for the slides the sizes oriented on our corporate layout for presentations. To print two slides on a single A4 I have to scale them but I can't get this to work. Have a look at the attached minified example below. Without \setuparranging set the slides are scaled an one is put on each A4. As soon as I activate the arraging the scaling does not work anymore. Any ideas how to get this work? Reducing inter-character spacing?

Hello, here comes yet another "I could do this in Word but can't figure it out how ConTeXt does it" font-related question: How can I reduces inter-character spacing in a font? I've found out that the spacing can be temporarily expanded by \stretched{}, but what's the opposite and how to control it? And I want to do it all over one product in my project, but on the other hand I don't need to reset it for any individual words or anything. (I assume that if the overall inter-character spacing is reduced, inter-word spacing will follow, but if not, I need to be able to reduce that, too.) I guess it isn't easily available because I'm not really supposed to be cramping the nicely designed fonts, especially not my nice new shiny Lucida OT - but I'm trying to create something in the style of past centuries when the style and requirements were different from today's. I've decided to use ConTeXt just because it should allow me to produce both the period-looking-but-illegible and nicely-typeset-modern-but-actually-usable versions of the same project. :-) TIA, Mari

Page Numbering using IncludePicture from simple slides

Hi, I love the IncludePicture command from simple slides but now I've got a picture which I want to show stepwise. Therefore I created two pictures a simplified version and the full version. I just place them right one after the other. Now it would be perfect if I could force context not to increase the page number counter for the second image because in my handout I will only include the full picture and at the moment the additional slide is messing up my page numbers. Is there some easy way to do tufte-style side note?

I googled and did found Wolfgang's solution (http://archive.contextgarden.net/message/20110906.202722.f501f115.en.html) but it's just too simple and cannot be used for production. Side notes will cluttered or fall out of pages. LaTeX does provide a good solution for this style. I am wondering if this is possible to do in context. Changing navigation symbol

Hey list, I am typesetting some images with \externalfigure. I'd like to make some of them interactive such that clicking on them invokes a URL, but leaving them without borders. extracting word count from a *.words file

Hello all, Here is another question. Consider this test file: \starttext \setupspellchecking[state=start,method=2] \ctxlua{languages.words.threshold=3} \input knuth \stoptext Typesetting this file produces a word list 'test.words' which ends like this: ["threshold"]=1, ["total"]=122, ["version"]=1, } Is there a way to extract the value for ["total"] ('122' in this case) so that I can use that value somewhere else, e.g. in a project file where I want to present a word count. I have written Python classes to automate reading a Tumblr blog and writing a file for processing by ConTeXt. No manual editing of the ConTeXt input file is allowed. Photos are incorporated in a graphic created using METAPOST commands embedded in the ConTeXt input file. Then the graphic is used as a background. I need this background to appear only on one page. My current solution is to use TeX conditionals to test if the page number has incremented, then reset the background to empty. This approach fails in many cases. The code below provides a minimum working example of a failure. Photos are shown as squares to reduce the size of this post. Is there a better way to reset the background? New version of ConTeXt package for Notepad++ available

Dear Gang, I have made a new ConTeXt package for Notepad++ (Npp). Unfortunately the wiki is not letting me update the zip file (Patrick? Mojca?): "Upload warning | Files of the MIME type "application/zip" are not allowed to be uploaded." So for now, here is a dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k77ggveqdkfrevk/Npp-ConTeXt-120418.zip ========================== The zip contains two directories: 1) \AppData\Roaming\Notepad++ 2) \Program Files (x86)\Notepad++ AFTER you install Npp, copy the folder 1) into C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming And copy folder 2 into C:\Program Files (x86) if your system is 64-bit, and into C:\Program Files if it is 32-bit. XP directory structure uses "\Application Data" instead of \AppData. There may be other things to watch out for (I use Vista). Important: Back up your contextMenu.xml whenever you update to a newer version of Npp proper. For some reason, Npp overrides the user-defined contextMenu.xml and replaces it with the default. In fact, it's a good idea to back up your \Roaming\Notepad++ directory whenever you update Npp itself to a new version. Notes: 1. This updated package contains a new feature: You can wrap selected text with ConTeXt tags. Just select some text and right-click: Then choose what you want to do to the text. This has already saved me lots of time in my own writing, and lessens the risks of brace-mismatch etc. It also works if no text is selected. 2. You can also start projects, components, etc from the right-click menu. 3. You'll see the ConTeXt command shortcuts under the Macro menu. They used to be the same as Hans's Scite setup, but there are probably some differences now. I'll look at this matter later. 4. In future versions I may get rid of any and all references to mkii; deadenders ;-) can make their own shortcuts etc. But I am gearing this package towards new users who should not have to deal with mkii at all. 5. The toolbar has been modified. You can use the Customize Toolbar menu to bring back some default Npp buttons that I removed, etc. 6. The ConTeXt icons are quick and dirty. I welcome help from anyone who would like to help me with some nicer 16x16 ConTeXt icons. Eventually I want to expand this to a much richer palette of buttons. 7. Tooltips for commands are supported, but right now there is only one implemented: \startitemize[] Try it! Eventually I want to have descriptions of all autocomplete commands, literally at your fingertips in the editor! ======================== This is still a work in progress. There are a few missing commands from autocompletion/syntax highlighting, and there may be a private command or two of mine lurking in the highlighting. Eventually I want to move most of the functionality of this package to a lexer. I have used the extensive plugin/user-defined functionalities of Npp to get this package far, but a dedicated lexer-plugin would be the ideal thing. Any volunteers more than welcome, since lexer writing is outside of my skill-set. Once this is uploaded to the wiki I'll remove the dropbox link. Including font with document source

Hey list, Is there a way to include a set of font files with a ConTeXt document's source files such that a path to the directory containing the font can be directly specified in the environment? I was thinking that if it were possible to do this already, the simplefonts module might have a setup for this. Hey list, I'd like to use an MLA style bibliography with MKIV. The style is available here: www.reed.edu/cis/help/latex/bibtexstyles.html Actually, it doesn't matter to me whether it is that one or any that supports MLA already that ships with ConTeXt. In my environment file, I tried the following: \setuppublications[alternative=mla] That didn't appear to change anything, so I did what I normally do when I don't trust the output of ConTeXt. I changed the "mla" to a garbage string and it still compiled. So it must be either ignoring the style or I am doing it wrong. Hello, values of number and title of the current (sub...)section can be received by \structurenumber and \structuretitle commands. Is there a way how to get these values by Lua? Can anybody tell me how to correctly configure Notepad++ to use ConTeXt? I'm just starting with ConTeXt (and Tex BTW) and Scite seems to be too unpolished. One advantage that I can see of Scite over Notepad++ is that it has some autocompletion, besides that I think the interface and its "tools" are terrible. Also, is there anyother noteworthy editor that works nicely with standalone context? Preferably with spell-check and auto-completion. Regards, Luiz Borges

Hello all, I'm trying to teach myself to use the project structure. After a few rounds of trial and error (...and stupid naming schemes...) I'm almost there, but got stuck at my font setups. How to process a project residing in another directory

I try to process a ConTeXt project residing in a directory different from the current directory (where context is called), imagine e.g. a NFS mounted directory on a different host. I tried to point context to the project directory by specifying it by the command line option --path=absolute_path_to_the_directory but that did not work. Helge

"sheet of paper" is of course only virtualy meant ... it is online The difficulty is that there a bunch of (hyperlinked) cross-references in the book ... so people can use the pdf interactively. Without this I could put the pages manualy together. Hope that now you know what I want to do. And I am hoping very much for a solution ... Chinese hyphenation / line splitting

Hi All, We are having a go at typesetting one of our manuals in Chinese (gulp). Is there some trick to getting hyphenation working? (Or perhaps "line-splitting" is a better term, I don't even know if hyphens are used in Chinese). What I see in the PDF are unbroken lines running off the edge of the page. If I manually insert spaces, then the lines do break but seem to go slightly past the right-hand edge of the paper (so parts of the characters are lost). ConTeXt User Meeting / EuroTeX 2012?

Hello! I know I shouldn't be asking until after BachoTeX, but unfortunately my calendar for autumn is starting to fill up and there are things that should be settled pretty soon. (And I can't go to BachoTeX to sort things out there.) The page http://meeting.contextgarden.net/2012/ says that 6CM will be held in The Netherlands in connection with EuroTeX on October 8-12. The page also says that the arrangers can be contacted at <eurotex(a)ntg.nl>, but that address bounces so I had to resort to the list. Are the dates and the place correct and so settled that I can rely on them while planning the autumn program (both work and otherwise)? And whom should I contact about the conference program and such things? I've got a few suggestions for them... <nitpicking> The page title for <http://meeting.contextgarden.net/2012/> is "ConTeXt User Meeting 2009". This is mildly annoying as that is the text that Firefox shows as tab name and I always go "oops, wrong page" even though it isn't. I was lucky to get a fast answer - but with your code I don't get the right result: -- start your code \startmode[booklet] \setuppapersize[A5][A4,landscape] \setuparranging[2SIDE] \stopmode \starttext First page \startmode[booklet] \null \page \stopmode etc. \stoptext Thomas -- stop With your code I get: 1 2 first page of the pdf 3 4 second 5 6 third 7 8 fourth But I want to get: 1 first page of the pdf (coverpage) 2 3 second 4 5 third 6 7 fourth 8 fifth (coverpage) I know how to use with modes - but the answer must be an other. Maybe I have to explain it more clearly: on the first PDF-Page (A5) there should be only the cover-page (page 1) \setuppapersize[A5][A5] \setuparranging[1SIDE]%<- I don't know how to write it - nothing was working On the second PDF-Page there should be page 2 and page 3 \setuppapersize[A5][A4,landscape] \setuparranging[2SIDE] It must be a problem lot's of people have when they make a book with ConTeXt and want to make a second PDF-version for the Internet. Cross-referencing Challenge

Hey All: I am very new to ConTeXt, but I am trying to use it to achieve a format similar to what you can get from WEB systems. Right now I am working on the definitions of chunks and their cross references. I have three main macros: \defchunk Definining a new chunk \chunk Referencing a chunk by name \stopchunk Ending a chunk definition Here is an example: \defchunk{This is a name} Some text /BTEX\chunk{Other stuff}/ETEX goes here. And here. \stopchunk \defchunk{Other stuff} Something else \stopchunk \defchunk{This is a name} Some other stuff. \stopchunk Now, at the end, let's say that each of these appears in sections 1, 2, and 3, respectively. The output I am looking for, in Unicode, might look like this: ⟨This is a name 1⟩≡ Some text ⟨Other stuff 2⟩ goes here. And here. ── See also section 3. ⟨Other stuff 2⟩≡ Something else ── This code is used in section 1. ⟨This is a name 1⟩≡ Some other stuff. ── So here, there are really three things that I want to achieve. I need to be able to get a list of all of the sections wherein a given chunk is referenced using \chunk, a list of all the sections where a section of the same name is defined, and finally, be able to tell in which section the first occurrence of a chunk is defined. Index setup

Hi all! Better late than never, you'll say, because I've just started using MkIV... :-) I have some troubles setupping an index and the options I try using from the (old) ConTeXt manual don't help or seem to have no effect. So basically, I have this: \starttext \chapter{Ch1} \index{abc}abc \index{bcd}bcd \index{def}def \chapter{Ch2} \index{wxy}wxy \index{xyz}xyz \index{zzz}zzz \page \setupregister[index][indicator=no] \placeindex \stoptext That works. But I'm trying to do two things here and I'll be damned if the info can be found somewhere. I've tried my best to find it, but to no avail... So: 1) I'd like a single list with no blank lines in between letters (I've already removed the indicator, but I'm stuck there). 2) I'm trying to align the pagenumber on the right side of the column. Should be easy, but...?! I'm truly sorry if these questions are easy to answer, but I'm clueless here, alas! And hey, I've recently completed a thesis that was wholly done with MKII. Break links into items in the itemize list

Hello all Once again I return to this issue. Lukas confirmed me that really links do not work. Where is error when links into items in the itemize list are not working. Links are active but not working... It is interesting that the chapter on the links when hovering tooltip will appear with the page number where the link leads, not the case for the line item. Paragraph width in table of contents

Hi, In the following example, the section titles are long. In the table of contents, the section titles are written like normal paragraph (ending at the right margin, with the page number). With an older version of Context beta (about a year ago), the paragraphs with the section title were shorter and not overlapping with the page number. How can I obtain again that property? Hello, A follow-up on the solution \startpostponing [+0] \startplacefigure … \stopplacefigure \stoppostponing As a side effect, one then needs to be careful to surround ALL placefigures with \startpostponing[+0]\stoppostponing, even those that occur after a paragraph end (where one is not concerned about adding a paragraph break), else the floating figures may get placed out of order, e.g. figure 4 before figure 3. As this makes for somewhat sloppy tex files, should not placefigure/table/other get FIXED so as not to introduce a paragraph break? gnuplot not working

Hi all, Is there a problem with gnuplot? I get an error with the minimal example on the wiki. I think the generated .plt file has an error; it works if I manually delete the "fontscale 1" bit and run context on test-gnuplot-1.tmp. Hello, the wiki example doesn't work on my computer, although the wiki result seems OK: ---- \starttext See page \ref[p][myref 1] and \ref[p][myref 2]. \page \reference[myref 1]{MyRef1} This is the first reference. \page \reference[myref 2]{MyRef2} This is the second one. \stoptext ---- The result is: "See page and .", i.e. missing numbers of referred pages. Hey list, I assumed that there was some macro akin to \CONTEXT for the BibTeX module, and I believe there is, \BibTeX. The problem is it isn't recognized when I attempt to compile my document with it. Is there a module that must be included or something else one must do?
