Missing "missing character" warning

Hello all. Reading the manual “Fonts in ConTeXt” I found the following statement (p.97): “In both cases we end up with a message in the log file and a resulting file with missing data”. [When the font doesn't provide a glyph]. Now, the only case when the warning is issued is using mkii with xetex (texexec -xtx), not with mkiv. (Unsurprisingly, the file with missing data is always there :-) Minimal example: %% start \mainlanguage[hr] \starttext Ja sam sȃm, i sȃm sam došao da izvršim pravdu. \stoptext %% stop The name of the char is: LATIN SMALL LETTER A WITH INVERTED BREVE (0x0203) So: $ context prova.tex $ grep -i -E '(warn|miss)' prova.* [ match nothing ] $ texexec --xtx prova.tex $ grep -i -E '(warn|miss)' prova.* prova.log:Missing character: There is no ȃ in font [lmroman12-regular]:+liga;+kern;mappi prova.log:Missing character: There is no ȃ in font [lmroman12-regular]:+liga;+kern;mappi It's not a regression, since the behaviour is the same with the last year ConTeXt. Thank you. I check it, and you are right. I forgot to include the definitions when I cut and paste that part of the code. I thought the problem was related to the btex command, but it's not. The first line is: u=1.000mm; linecap:=butt; linejoin:=mitered; path pp; picture pic; labeloffset:=0; I compared it with your code. The "numeric u;" definition is missing in my file. I have included it and now it works!! It's really weird since I compiled it in 2009 and it worked as is. I still have the pdf output file...?? It is possible to get the title (either marking or list text) and a link to the next chapter in the footer? Such a style is used in Kindle and I'd like to recreate it. I installed ConTeXt in 2009 in my laptop and wrote some documents. Now I have installed ConTeXt in other computer and tried to process some of those documents but it doesn't work. It looks that there is something wrong with Metapost/Metafun. Use figures without file extension

Currently, ConTeXt only recognizes the type of figure from the file extension. If a filename does not have an extension, \externalfigure fails. For example: $ cp `luatools hacker.jpg` something Then, \starttext \externalfigure[something] \stoptext fails. However, if I set \externalfigure[something][method=jpg] the figure loads correctly. But what is surprising is that if I set \externalfigure[something][method=pdf] then also the figure loads correctly! This means that context has the code to recognize the figure type (even without the extension), but that fails when method is not set. Setting a global \setupexternalfigures[method=pdf] does not work because method is reset to empty by \resetfiguresettings. Any ideas on how to load an external figure without a file extension and not specifying the figure type by hand? Aditya

indexing puzzle

I have been trying to index the passages cited in a book and would be grateful for some tactical advice. There are several works by a single author, and it is customary to cite each text by page and line number, as in 1253.12 (page 1253, line12), for example. I have a sort key for each work. But now I need a way to get the entry 1253.7 (page 1253, line 7) before the entry 1253.12 (page 1253, line 12). \[Passage[AuthorText]{Author+Text+1253.07}1253.7 or \[Passage[AuthorText]{Author+Text+1253.07}1253. 7 would work, but it is really better to have the index entry as “1253.7” rather than as “1253.07” or “1253. 7” I have experimented with different sort keys—e.g., AuthorText125307—and can generate an index with the 1235.7 and so on in the proper place and form, say, before 1253.12. But then the problem is that I also get entire sequences of entries out of order (485.19, 485.21 before 477.31, and so on). Very puzzling. (Restoring the sort key AuthorText removes the latter problems but then leaves 1253.7 in the wrong place.) If anyone has experience with this or just some ideas for a solution, their suggestions will be most welcome. I am using the MKII in the latest ConTeXt standalone. Alan

xmlmapvalue

Is there something local in \xmlmapvalue? Because \xmlmapvalue in the current tree (with \xmlsetup{#1}{command}) makes \xmlvalue find the mapping, but having it executed on a different tree (with \xmlprocessbuffer{root}{buffer}{}) makes it unreachable and \xmlvalue fails. Citations in a frontmatter fail when placed in a component

Hi, When a \cite command is placed in a frontmatter or bodymatter it prints [[error 2]] as citation and no bibliography is created. This only occurs when the \cite command is called from another component. \cite calls from within the same file work, even inside a frontmatter. updated binaries, please keep testing TL 2012

Hello, the majority of binaries in ConTeXt distribution have been updated from TeX Live 2012 now (missing are only linux-64, linux-ppc by Thomas S., and possibly some from windows). (Builders might want to be careful a bit, I'm afraid that simply running the script would downgrade luatex because I increased the version in binaries, while sources are still at 0.70.1, so please don't try to build anything, except for Thomas who might want to test building the TL ;) Mac OS X Tiger is not supported any more. If there are any objections, you can help me figure out why building fails, else we are done with 10.4 forever. (We got 8 visitors of 10.4 on website [minimals.contextgarden.net] since January this year. I have no way to check if any tiger user actually uses the minimals or not. We still have an impressive number of PowerPC users.) In the morning you should also see an update of ConTeXt in TeX Live 2012, matching the latest beta from yesterday. TABLE with split=repeat and headings

Hello, I have several natural tables with the split=repeat option set. Those tables are directly after a subsubsubject. Every now and then it happens, that the heading stays on the previous page (as last line) and the table slips to the next page. Without split=repeat it correctly takes the header to the next page too. Can I consider this a bug or am I doing something wrong? The attached example demonstrates this problem. Hi, Under the beta version (ConTeXt ver: 2012.05.14 16:00 MKIV fmt: 2012.5.16), item numbers in references (with \in[..]) are not converted automatically in the way they used to be done under last year's "current" ConTeXt. I have macros that do something like below that no longer work. The level two items are converted to letters, but references to them appear as unconverted numbers. Where is the documentation of the letter module

Wolfgang: I have an old letter that typesets fine with beta 2011.11.29 23:11 but that fails with anything newer than that. I get lots of "Undefined control sequence" and \textwidth seems to expand to something without a unit: "Illegal unit of measure (pt inserted)". Anyway, I guess there are big changes so I'd like to go through the documentation again. However, [1] seems to be gone now and the pdf in [2] is absent too. Align caption text separately from figure label

Hello, I spent a few hours googling and trying random things but am not able to get figure captions looking the way I want them. Basically, I'd like long captions to be left aligned as a framed chunk of text, similar to this post here: http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/8739/multiline-figure-caption-center… Or if this formatting works... How it currently looks: Figure 1 This is a caption that extends to multiple lines. What I'm trying to get: Figure 1 This is also a caption that extends to multiple lines. I was able to produce what I wanted with an aligned \framed command, but the width of the caption and the width of the framed box had to be set for each figure, which is less than ideal. I'm hoping that there is a way to adjust the amount of indent for the text of the caption so that I can 'push' all the lines after the first one to line up with it? Thanks much, John

Layers for alternating page elements?

Have just started working with TeX/ConTeXt after years with Adobe InDesign. Want to make an alternating page layout with one column only but a large outer margin. This I have managed to achieve but in addition I want running footers in the outer margin flush with the bottom of the text and also want a vertical .5pt rule between the text area and the outside margin area. Can a layer be placed in the footer or header to achieve this? Layout would have to alternate from left to right page. I think this means a different layer for each side? The right page must also have a logo at the top of the outside margin. Page setup is as follows: \setuppapersize [A4][A4] \setuplayout[ width=10cm,backspace=2.5cm,rightmargin=5.8cm, rightmarginspace=1cm,topspace=1.5cm,header=0cm,lines=42] Many thanks

doublesided wider paragraphs

Hello, I am trying to change the width of a paragraph on a page. I found \defineparagraphs and \setupparagraphs and it almost works. But for doublesided documents the text on verso pages is incorrectly aligned. I tried [location=inner], but the macros do not seem to be aware of that. I also found \startlocal (\startlokaal) in the ConTeXt getting started pdf, but Mk IV does not know \startlocal (any more?). Vertical alignment in nested itemizations

Dear list, My question is: Can I somehow force an "inner" itemization to begin on the same line as the outer one? Background: I am writing solutions to an exam and use nested itemizations, as in the test file \starttext \startitemize[n][style=sans] \item Bla bla \item \startitemize[a,packed][left={},right={)},stopper=,style=sans] \item Det sökta \stopitemize \stopitemize \stoptext Now the problem is that the a) does not stay on the same line as the 2., but is moved down half a line (this differs depending on the amount of text in the file). In the example code below this problem does not happen, but it happens in my file (which contains solutions to an exam not yet given, so I cannot show it to you). Hi, How to set the distance in a generic way between individual columns without breaking the frame rules? Dear ConTeXt group, I am trying to stack text and figures in the margin. After getting some help, I am able to setup the text just fine, the notes do not overlap. I am also able to stack figures, they also do not overlap. But figures and text does not 'know of each other'. They do overlap. Dear all, I defined enumerations "Theorem", "Proof", and "Example" as in the sample code. It works fine, but I'd like to arrange it in better shape. 1. Theorem 1 and it's proof look good. 2. The proof of Theorem 2 i) when I use \startitemize it starts from the next line not immediately after "Proof". Q: How to start the sentence right after "Proof"? ii) after \stopitemize, it changes the line and put blacksquare at the end. So, there is a blank line always. Q: How to place blacksquare at the end of the last line of the sentence? iii) leading symbol of itemize, "b" is inside the figure. Q: How to correct this or is it possible to place the figure at the right side? 3. I'd like to put "Example" and it's number in a frame, but I couldn't. Is there a way of doing that? In my current book project, I need to set images on fixed pages (because only a few pages get printed in color), and full-page, i.e. bleeding 3mm. What’s the best way to achieve each? The only way for full-page images that I know of, is via layer/ background, but I find it difficult to activate and deactivate that at the right pages. counter reseting at every heading

Hi, I realized yesterday that my counter for the module does not reset itself as before. What I need is a counter that resets after each heading (chapter, section, subsection, subsubsection and so on). This is what I know about counter reseting at the moment: \definecounter[ParagraphNumber][prefix=no,way=bysection] - way=bychapter: reseting counter at every chapter (default) - way=bysection: reseting counter at every section (not at chapters) - way={bychapter,bysection,bysubsection,bysubsubsection}: does not work \setuphead[chapter,section,subsection,subsubsection][after={\resetcounter[ParagraphNumber]}] does work but it messes with the distance between heading and normal text. What is the correct/best way to make the counter reseting every heading without messing around? Thanks P.

Hi everybody, I don't get context colours working in tikz. There were several issues on the mailing list in the past and the solution always seems to be some kind of hack. But none of the hacks work (with a current context). Most portable font name

Hi all, tl;dr: by which name to refer to a font. I was about to recommend (tomorrow; context: an introductory LaTeX course) *the* way of referring to a font by its name. As we all know, the same font (as in file) usually comes with a variety of possible denominations. “otfinfo -i” on a *file name* results in a list of *full name*, *Postscript name*, *unique id*, etc., which all might have some valid purpose. I have come across answers to assignments that made me wonder “How on earth did E get that to work on Eir system?”. There’s some background info [1] on the Fontforge pages but it doesn’t really answer my question: Which identifier is least likely to break things and at the same time most portable between both frontends (Fontspec, Simplefonts, typescripts) and platforms (Win/Linux/Mac)? For some time now I myself settled for the Postscript name as it never caused problems in typescripts and it’s got no spaces. The filename might be the most explicit one, but oftentimes contains spaces which I *always* replace with underscores prior to installing a font; also case insensitive filesystems might cause trouble. Also, some fonts have weird file naming schemes (e.g. CMU and the Paratype fonts), so extra comments may be required to support legibility of the resulting code. The typescripts that come with Context use both (“name:” and “file:”) but I have no clue why exactly which method was chosen over the other in what case. The fontspec documentation (and the Simplefonts module and our course so far) conforms to the WYSIWYG tradition of purportedly more human-readable, spaced identifiers, e.g. “TeX Gyre Bonum Bold”. (Cf. [1]: “FullName is designed to be read by humans”.) So I judged that my preferred choice might not be as good as I think. I got cold feet and am about to remove the slide where I recommend the PS name (I can do that later anyways). Is there -- apart from personal opinions -- some valid reason to prefer one name over the other *in general*? Thanks for any advice and opinions. I'd love help with this: I have list that uses alternative=command, and it stopped working when I switched from last year's TeXLive context to a recent beta. Testing TeX Live 2012

After the first successful year of ConTeXt in TeX Live, it would be great to get enough testers before the release (to make sure that it works flawlessly) and to get rid of as many bugs as possible. Hi, I upgraded to the latest beta from the 2011 stable version for the first time. Now my local modules are not found. Having searched the wiki and the mailing list, I can find no help. Any ideas? I started using starttable..\stoptable. Question: How can I force the table cells to fixed dimensions, for example squares of 1cmx1cm? I can see \setuptables[height= width= depth=] but that does not take dimensions (error Illegal unit). What it does with the numbers given is not clear to me, because the ConTeXtGarden has no explanation of its effect. fixing mpiv on installation path with spaces

Hello, last year Taco added many patches to make sure that ConTeXt works even when installed to "C:\Documents and Settings\ ..." and other weird paths with spaces. However metapost in mkiv still fails. I figured out that the following patch (which *won't* handle paths with quotation marks properly) in mlib-run.lua fixes the problem: local preamble = [[ boolean mplib ; mplib := true ; let dump = endinput ; - input %s ; + input "%s" ; ]] but I'm not sure if there are any other side effects or if there are other places that also need a patch. I didn't test with filenames with spaces or with filenames with weird characters that need escaping. Maybe it would be helpful to pass file.addsuffix(name,"mp") through additional filter (instead of simply adding quotation marks) that would also check if any other character needs escaping and add quotation marks if needed. Minimal example: - install ConTeXt into path with spaces - test with context on \starttext \startMPcode draw fullcircle scaled 3cm; \stopMPcode \stoptext I would be grateful if somebody could take a look, so that a fix could make it into TL 2012. Insertion of a Document I.D.

I want to generate a document i.d. from the .tex source filename and the current date and put it into the footer. This might be possible already, but I could find it by searching the wiki for filename and document it, or rather too much since filename is mainly used for command line parameters, etc. I know the \currentdate will give the current system date part that I can use, but is there any \filename type command for the master filename, so that a document i.d. could be generated automatically. e.g. \filename\currentdate Regards

"Typescripts for Dummies"

Is there a document anywhere that would be the equivalent of "Typescripts for Dummies?" (as if such a book really existed) I am trying to write some typescripts for the Venturis ADF and Beneris ADF families (and a few others) using Wolfgang's typescripts for Fontin et. al. as a guide. I can't seem to figure out what, "\s!" or "\typescripttwo" of "\typescriptthree" do and the examples I have looked at on the wiki either don't contain them or don't explain them . I also don't seem to be able to find a command reference for \starttypescript which explains what the various option fields mean or what "predefined" values exist for each. Hi, it tried to do a \atpage command that results a) some page => nothing b) different page => pagenumber with some text (e.g. "auf Seite XY") \def\atPage[#1]% {\doifnot{\at[#1]}{\currentpage}% {\at[#1]}% } My problem with this is, that the \doifnot always results as not equal; it is like the types mismatch as if I exchange \at[#1] with a pure number the comparing works. If so, how can the types be corrected? Additionally - if possible - I would like to add case that the referred page is on the other page but in duplex mode adjacent to the actual page. Is that possible to do this? I unluckily dont know how to make working simple calculation in tex code. Specifying leading?

How does one specify leading in ConTeXt? In traditional typography, it is common to specify the type size and leading to indicate the inter-line spacing of a block of text. Setting type "solid" means to use no spacing between lines - not usually a good idea ;-) More often, good typography requires a minimum of two points of leading between adjacent lines and might be specified as 12/14 or 12/15 meaning to set twelve-point type on a fourteen or fifteen point "leading" resulting in inter-line spacing of two and three points respectively. Is there an easy way to specify this in ConTeXt or must I muck about with baseline skip? I have tried looking this up on the wiki and in the font documentation but it either is not there or is worded in such a way I am not recognizing it. Hi, I am trying to pass a tex color as a paramter to a module. I used the example from the wiki as a base. But as soon I hand over a color directly it does not work. Any help is welcome as I am looking forward to hand in my first module. Are there any rules how and where to hand in a module for context? hvdm-exm module fails

Hi, I am trying to make use of the "hvdm-exm" module for a series of tests and that fails. Below is the basic code I am using. As I could not find a usage sample, I might have it wrong. It fails with \startexam as "undefined" and an internal message that it seems to have a language problem (WARNING ? unknown -- current language en tried). Looking into the file hvdm-exm.tex I can find the source of the error message, but it's beyond me to really understand what's going on. My ConTeXt is updated as of today (30.4.2012). I updated the core file "hvdm-exm.tex" to the 2010-11-17 version but that has no obvious influence. Also checked permissions (just to be sure, folders 755, files 644) and fixed them with no impact. Sorry for having given you a non working example! Here you can find a working one. The comments at the end of each line are in italian. Changing the height of the frame you can move the \startalign content in the page. As you will see, the whole content flows from one page to the following, without splitting at the right line. Did usage of \expanded changed?

Hi, I "reactivated" some code that was working a year ago. But now it seems that \expanded has no effect in my case (see below). I also tried it with \normalexpanded and \expandedafter but both had also no effect. My problem seems to be this line of the full example below: \doifsomething\Paragraphmark{\expanded{\textreference[\Paragraphmark]{\fullheadnumber/\rawnumber[ParagraphNumber]}}}% The error shows itself in the line: Should be 1/1: \in[test] As \in[test] gives me 1/3 instead of 1/1. (1 was the number assigned to the first paragraph - 3 is the acutal number). Can someone tell me what I need to change? Subitems in markdown behave buggy. Example: \usemodule [markdown] \starttext \startmarkdown - Some item - Another item - Subitem one - Subitem two \stopmarkdown \stoptext Result: • Some item • Another item startmarkdownitemize[packed] startitem Subitem one stopitem stopmarkdownitemize Using pandoc works fine. bug? margens with duplex

Hi, I am using \ininner and \inouter to set text into the margins. As soon I also use duplex the margins are messed up at every second page. Unluckily the [stack=continue] option does not help. Simple rings with svg

I read on the wiki that now svg is natively supported. Hmm. I am missing a trick here: I try ___ \starttext Hello world \externalfigure[ChangingField_ILUC.pdf \stoptext __ And all goes as expected: I get output with the expected graphic in place But if I try ___ \starttext Hello world \externalfigure[ChangingField_ILUC.svg] \stoptext ___ I get : !LuaTeX error: cannot find image file 'm_k_i_v_ChangingField_ILUC.pdf' ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced! Is it time to update context? From the date of the wiki revision it seems not, since I am on ConTeXt ver: 2011.11.29 23:11 MKIV FWIW, I cannot find the intermediate file 'm_k_i_v_ChangingField_ILUC.pdf' on my disk either…both graphics files are in the same location, both exist, both are named correctly…. "standard" for bibliographies

There used to be discussions about some "common standard" for storing bibliographies. I'm testing http://www.mendeley.com/ and would like to export to ConTeXt-friendly database (bibtex export is supported). It seems that for that one would have to use http://citationstyles.org/ so I will try to figure out if "The Citation Style Language" can be used to export data to what is currently required by ConTeXt. But if you are thinking about xml-based format for the future, it might be worth taking a look at the second website. Mojca

Hi, I tried to handle some version changes with \doifolderversionelse. Sadly it does not work here. japanese spaced

Hi, if a paragraph is set to align=block the space between words can be stretched. If eg. a japanese word is mentioned in such a paragraph the space between the japanes characters gets spaced/stretched too (see example attached). This may be right for japanese texts, but it is wrong if the main/surrounding language is not japanese (and thus no additional space between characters is wanted). The wiki claims setting up an MPenvironment is enough to change the font in MetaPost graphics: \startMPenvironment%[global] \switchtobodyfont [sans] \stopMPenvironment \starttext This should be serif. \startMPcode draw textext("This should be in sans."); \stopMPcode \stoptext However, this has no effect. All text is in default serif font. If [global] is provided, all text is in sans font. I am aware of a similar issue in a thread last year¹, but the solution didn't really address the problem. textext("\sans This should be sans.") works here, but the point is that the MPenvironment fails. Hello, I'm just wonderding if there is a way to switch to an OpenType Math font (referred to by name or filename, without any predefined typescript) with some stylistic alternative in the middle of the document, like in the LaTeX example: running text ... \setmathfont[Scale=0.86,StylisticSet=4]{Lucida Bright Math OT} $\mathcal{ABC XYZ}$~(StylisticSet=4) ... running text ... \setmathfont{Asana Math} $\mathfrak{ABC XYZ\,abc xyz}$ or do I always need to provide a predefined typescript? How does one switch between stylistic alternatives for math? I have a problem with {\switchtobodyfont[asana] $\mathscript ABC XYZ\,abc xyz$} and I also need to figure out how to get "math bold italic sans serif greek alphabet". Any hints welcome. I have read in "Using \startalign and friends" which is a document dated 2006 that the splitting capability of \startalign is broken. Is it still so? Why does \xmlinclude does not throw an error when the file to be read is missing? It causes a mssing file to go unnoticed. In contrast \xmlprocessfile does throw an error, as expected. Hans van der Meer

Loaded xml with: xmlinclude{problem}{include}{file} Then called up parts of its contents through a setup: \startxmlsetups xam:define:get % The definition is the one with content. \xmldoiftext{#1}{.}{ \foundtrue \xmlflush{#1} \xmlcontext{#1}{.} } \stopxmlsetups The strange thing is that the \xmlflush typesets verbatim the contents of the node called up: <math version="2.0" xmlns="http://www.w3c.org/mathml"> <apply> <eq/> <ci> f(x) </ci> <apply> <plus/> <ci> 1 </ci> <apply> <power/> <ci> x </ci> <ci> 4 </ci> </apply> <apply> <power/> <ci> x </ci> <ci> 7 </ci> </apply> </apply> </apply> </math> but, to my surprise the \xmlcontext{#1}{.} lets it disappear completely. So does \xmlflushcontext{#1}. In other parts of the program \xmlcontext does what it should do, thus the mkvi format seems ok. What could have happened? Some detrimental effect of the \xmlinclude? Though this command works perfectly and is nicely adaptable, in the end it does not give me what I would have liked. Perhaps my description of what I want was not clear enough. For me, both commands, \somewhere{}{}[ref] and \atpage[ref], have in common that they are imprecise when I want precision, namely when the float is not at the same page as its reference, and precise when they are in fact redundant, that is, when float and reference are on the same page, where the reader will see it at one glance, whether it is above or below. Writing, for instance, on page 20: "See example 2 on page 20" is not wrong but somehow it looks clumsy and unprofessional to me, and unworthy of ConTeXt, if I may say so. The challenge would seem "to pick ConTeXt's brain" just before the final processing run, when it knows whether float and reference will be on the same page or not. Could this perhaps be solvable by some Lua-code? Anyway, for lack of a better solution, I will for the time being refer to each float with "\in{ex.}[ref] on \at{page}[ref] \somewhere{on the previous page}{on the next page}[ref] \somewhere{above}{below}[ref]" and manually comment out, after the final processing run, what I cannot use. I live in Japan and fequently have the need to create documents in Japanese. I would like to stop using WYSIWYG type word processing and switch over to TeX based systems. I've been starting and am learning to use ConTeXt but I've still a long way to go. I want to ask if anyone has already gone through this and has a "How to publish a Japanese language document using ConTeXt" or something like that, unless it is incredibly easy to do. I've not tried it yet, but will tomorrow. I wanted to write to the group first to see if this issue has already be solved or any other input. My current platform environment is not ideal, but using Cygwin on a Japanese XP Windows box. I've not had any problems with English documents. Regards, Henman (hwitloc)

wrong footnote number in beta from today

Hi there, I'm afraid that footnote numbering in body text is wrong in latest beta (the bug was also in the two previous betas). Here you have a sample that shows the bug: \setupnotation[footnote][number=no] \setuphead[chapter][number=no] \starttext \chapter{First chapter} one\footnote{two} \section{First section} three\footnote{four} \stoptext There should be no note footnote numbering, but the body text takes the sectioning command number for the footnote references (which is obviously wrong). Bottomspace / Layout question!?

Hi there, I have a question regarding the spacing and margins of a text document. My layout is defined like this: \setuppapersize[A4][A4] \setuplayout[ topspace=1cm,header=1.5cm, backspace=3cm,cutspace=3cm, bottomspace=1cm,footer=1cm, margin=0cm ] Everything works like it is supposed to, except the "bottomspace" parameter, instead of 1cm I have 3.5cm from bottom footer to bottom rim of paper. Can anyone tell me what the problem is here? I tried a lot of other parameters, like bottom, or bottomdistance, etc. It seems ConText is ignoring my bottom definitions, what can I do to increase my textheight, or decrease my bottom height? Increase textbackground page break white space

Hey list, Some of my textbackgrounds occupy more than one page and break part way through them, as expected. Where their containing text is split at the page break, I am finding that the frame is too close to the contents. So I'd like to increase the white space of the bottom and top of the textbackground's frame and content where it splits across a page.
