Why are all the typescripts accessed?

When I texexec a file the names of all the typescripts on the system scroll by. Is something set up wrong? This slows down each run significantly. I run Slackware Linux and the TeX package from Slack-Current. Hi all, I would like to know if it's possible to replace the chapter text by an image ? How to do that ? And in this case, how to insert a normal text into TOC manually in order to have a normal TOC. Thank you in advance, Regards,

Cannot use array in the formula?

I try to use: \startformula \left\{ \begin{array}{r@=l} xx & yy \\ zz & aa \end{array} \right. \stopformula But Context log says "Undefined control sequence \begin{array}." How to use .eps figure in ConTeXt?

Today I try to insert .eps file in to my presentation. I use \externalfigure[xx.eps] to insert xx.eps. The figure shows correct in the dvi file generated by "texexec --once --texutils xx.tex". However this figure disappears in the pdf file generated by "texexec --pdf xx.tex". The log says "figures: xx.eps has zero dimensions". What is the problem? Bold math in section titles ??

Hi! Is it possible to activate bold math printing in a chapter/section/subsection title? In the example the numbers withing math mode (and the greek symbols) are set in regular style, while the rest of the title is printed in bold. Removing space between figure and caption

I'm working on a presentation in ConTeXt, and running into a problem with some figures; I can't seem to figure out how to get things to do what I want. Here's a small file that demonstrates the problem: --------------------------------- \setupoutput[pdftex] \starttext \tfd \setupinterlinespace \setupcaptions[number=no] \setupcombinations[distance=5mm] \placefigure [here] {none} {\startcombination[2*1] {\scale[width=3in, height=2in]{X}} {\bfc Caption 1 \crlf Line 2} {\scale[width=3in, height=2in]{X}} {\bfc Caption 2 \crlf Line 2} \stopcombination} \stoptext --------------------------------- My problem is that space between the figures and the captions is much larger than I'd like. In the actual document, the figure contains its own whitespace, and so I'd like the top of the caption text to be right up against the bottom of the figure. Also, I'd like to make the spacing between the two caption lines a lot smaller. How can I accomplish this? Thanks, - Brooks

Animations in ConTeXt

Hello list, i have recently found the webpage http://www.tug.org/texshowcase/ with a lot of astonishing TeX typesettings. Most of all, because i was looking for this, i was impressed by the animation possibilities of pdftex. See 'LorenzAttractor.tex' in the 'Dynamic documents' section. It is a LaTeX implementation using a lot of JavaScript. Is something like this possible in ConTeXt? I'm aware of fieldstacks and step by step presentations. But i would like to generate 'pdf-movies', especially for mathematical animations using MetaPost as an graphical engine. There exists also a 'solution' for plain TeX: http://www.fi.muni.cz/~xholecek/animations/ But i had no success in generating the pdf-files from the sources. No animation was shown. So again. Is it possible to write something like the above animation packages in ConTeXt (as a module)?
