Dear All I'm using mswincontext and I have an annoying problem which I can't solve. When I hit Show Documentation in the Scite editor Tools menu I get the error message below. >texmfstart --file=showcase.pdf --program=context pdfopen: mandatory `--file' argument not found. >Exit code: 0 I have tried to sort this out on a few occassions without success, any hints. All, We got the note below from our college president today. What does anyone know about making context and pdf accessible to student with vision problems? Dear Colleagues: We have an obligation and a commitment to full accessibility to our courses and programs for students with disabilities. By sending this memo, I want to inform you that effective immediately, and in adherence to College of the Redwoods Board of Trustees Policy No. 809 Administrative Regulation 809.07, specifically Part III of the Policy Statement "Access to Electronic and Information Technology" http://www.redwoods.edu/district/board/policies/ar/AR80907.Htm , all instructional web pages and Blackboard postings must meet Level 1 accessibility standards as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Part 1194.22. These standards are primarily concerned with the construction of electronic documents including web pages and the readability of those documents by assistive technology used by students with disabilities including students who are low vision or blind. Toward an errata sheet.

I mentioned on comp.text.tex that my copy of _Context The Mamual_ was a) tattered from use b) annotated here and there with corrections based on posts from this list. Another party wanted to borrow my manual! I sent him my two marginal annotations and redirected his attention to pragma-ade but his request gave me an idea. Perhaps we all should exchange annotations where there is a typo or other error we have uncovered. It would be a kind of group errata sheet. To start the ball rolling here are my two annotations: ------------------------------------------------------------ p 148:change "head=nomarking" to "header=nomarking" p 242: Modify example by adding opening brace prior to \startcombination and closing brace after \stopombination: ... {\startcombination ... \stopcombination} ------------------------------------------------------------ Obviously there are features that are covered elsewhere or covered better elsewhere. That is not my immediate concern. If we can just pool our marginal corrections it would be of mutual benefit. Relative font scaling

Hi, I'm experiencing issues with rscale. When using: \starttypescript [MyFnt] \definetypeface [MyFnt] [rm] [serif] [rfont] [default] [encoding=ec] \definetypeface [MyFnt] [mm] [math] [mfont] [default] [rscale=0.99,encoding=default] \definetypeface [MyFnt] [tt] [mono] [tfont] [default] [rscale=0.1,encoding=texnansi] \stoptypescript everything works as expected (text font is indeed rfont, math font is indeed mfont, tt font is indeed tfont, and moreover the math font is correctly rscaled) but the tt font isn't rscaled at all. Hi, Seems like the following crashes conTeXt: \useencoding [ffr] \mainlanguage[fr] \setupheadertexts[text][][][\setups{run:left}][] \startsetups run:left nothing \stopsetups \starttext Nothing special here \stoptext Of course one can live with this by renaming the tag. However, the bug will also occur in the \cite[Bob:A,Bob:B] commands from the bib module, and I assume in anything that deals with csnameS containing active colons... Strangely enough, the bug doesn't seem to occur in \placeformula[eq:A] Many thanks for hinting a fix, Olivier

Help with \setuplayout[grid=yes]

Hi all, Attached is an example showing my misunderstanding about grid alignment. The attached works as expected when \setuplayout[grid=no] is used or the 'Author table' is commented out. The inclusion of the little table in the text is really just to convince myself that I can have a table with the grid enabled. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Hi. "\getmarking[chapter][current]" should give you the title of the current chapter. Similarly "\getmarking[section][current]", etc. In order to rid yourself of the default pagenumber in the middle of the top header, use "\setuppagenumbering[location=]", or add "location=" to your existing \setuppagenumbering command.
