Strange ... this simple document \starttext \startformula a^2+b^2 = 1 \stopformula \stoptext says the formula had to be deleted for lack of symbol fonts ... do I have a flaky installation? -- Giuseppe "Oblomov" Bilotta

Hi, i want to change to context but i need the circ package. Is there a similar package for context? I have try the following search in google: http://www.google.com/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=context+tex+circuit+diag… Have i oversee anything? Thanx for your help ;-) al ;-)

[MathML] other seperator then '+'

Hi, how can i change the '+' into '*'? What i mean is when i write this: --- \enableregime[il1]% choose input encoding: il1 is "ISO Latin 1" (ISO 8859-1), same as "win" \mainlanguage[de] % language mode: changes typesetting rules, quote signs etc. \setuppapersize [A4][A4] \setupcolors[state=start] \usemodule[newmat] \usemodule[mathml] \setupMMLappearance[sign][reduction=no] \setupMMLappearance[function][reduction=no] \setupMMLappearance[power][reduction=no] %%\setupMMLappearance[relation][aligen=first] \starttext \startXMLdata <math> <apply> <in/> <cn type="complex"> 2 <sep/> 5 </cn> <complexes/> </apply> </math> \stopXMLdata \stoptext --- I get: 2 + 5i C but what i need is: j * omega || with '<times/>' I'am very new with context sorry i this is a 'trivial' question. free keycaps font

As far as I can tell, ConTeXt doesn't include a keycaps font. I recently created my own and would like to share it with anyone else that might find it useful. I've included a sample document with it. A side by side float that takes advantage of the margin

I have a situation when I have to put side by side two floats (a table and figure). My current code is \placetable[here][label]{caption}% {\\placesidebyside {table code}{figure code} } The problem is that sometimes the combined width of table and figure is bigger than the textwidth. I would like the combo to be centered across the page, not starting from the left margin of the text and invading the right margin only. How can I achieve this? -- Giuseppe "Oblomov" Bilotta

Sync with ConTeXt

Hi, using TeXShop 2.03 I was very glad that syncing seems to work even with ConTeXt's project structure. But unfortunately it "only" works from source to pdf (well, already quite useful): Clicking in the pdf has no effect (although my component file starts with %!TEX TS-program = context %!TEX root = ../main.tex Is syncing with ConTeXt not yet fully supported - or is there a work-around for the pdf->source jump that I don't know? Including images in included files in subdirectory

Situation: Tree structure: main.tex subdir/inc.tex subdir/fig.1 in main .tex " \include subdir/inc.tex " in subdir/inc.tex " \externalfigure[fig.1] " texexecing main.tex doesn't find the figure fig.1 subdir/inc.tex must use " \externalfigure[subdir/fig.1] " for the figure to be found. IMO this is a bug. Image should be checked for existence using as base the directory of the current input file *first*, then in the others. -- Giuseppe "Oblomov" Bilotta

Hello mostly Czech ConTeXters, I have noticed in the modules.pdf that there are some Czech slot empty in the lang-sla.tex. Most of them are filled up now. All changes are marked by 'new' comment. \limitatefirstline and the new beta

Hi Hans, I just installed the latest beta (14.09.2005) and realised, that \limitatefirstline is still unchanged. Just read my last mail from the 12th for the details. Sorry for stealing your time.
