long quotation without quotation marks

Hi all, In a text with some fairly long quotations I want to have these quotations without their quotation marks, not indented and set in small type. Thanks to the ConTeXt wiki I found I could fulfill two of the three requirements by using \setupdelimitedtext[blockquote][style={\setupbodyfont[9pt]}, and \startblockquote (text of the quotation) \blank \stopblockquote, but I still get the unwanted indenting. In the main text I want indenting of the first lines of most new paragraphs, so I have \setupindenting[20pt,yes] in the preamble, but I do not want it in the quotations. Placing \noindent at the beginning of the quotation does not do anything. As a hack I commented out \setupindenting[20pt,yes] and started every paragraph I want to indent with ~~~~~. That works. But somehow I feel there must be a more elegant solution, only I can’t find it. Is there somebody who could help me out? Thanks in advance. Robert Blackstone

I have MKII. How can I put braces and do that enumeration formula is at middle possition (not in first or last line, just in the middle). I use Aditya manual but I did not see it. Xan.

publications and custom author separator

Hi I am trying to replace ('in' instead of 'and') a separator between the last two authors for every article, but I am facing a semi success. My approach was to set the variable finalnamesep in \setuppublicationlist. At the moment it is working only when there are three or more authors per entry. This example with 5 authors is ok, there is 'in' between last two authors. Rong-En Fan, Kai-Wei Chang, Cho-Jui Hsieh, Xiang-Rui Wang in Chih-Jen Lin, LIBLINEAR: A library for large linear classiﬁcation v Journal of Machine Learning Research, 2008. This example has only 2 authors, there should be 'in' instead of 'and'. T. M. J. Fruchterman and E. M. MkIV issue with normal italics text in math mode

Hi, I've run across what I believe to be a bug in MkIV -- I am unable to access non-math italics from within math mode. A simple example is -- \starttext \math{\text{\it Hello, World}} \stoptext This works in MkII. Or perhaps there some other way I'm supposed to code this? Thanks, Brian

LuaTex choking on \definesynonyms?

Hi all, LuaTex doesn't seem to like the \definesynonyms command. The following works fine in PDFtex: 1 \definesynonyms[abbreviation][abbreviations][\infull] 2 3 \starttext 4 \abbreviation{VVV}{Bureau of Tourist Information} 5 The Dutch \VVV\ (\infull{VVV}) can provide you with the tourist 6 information on Hasselt. 7 8 \stoptext ...but when compiling with Luatex, I get the errors as below. On Mac OS X with an updated ConTeXt/Luatex minimals installation. The abbreviations aren't essential in my current document but I guess somebody might want to look into this? Using \startalign outside of math mode?

Hi, I'm using a custom pretty printer to apply some formatting to a buffer. However, I'm not using a monospaced font, but some sans serif font to display the result. In the original text, I have some lines that are nicely aligned using leading spaces. For example: foo = bar | baz Obviously, when using a non monospaced font for this, the alignment is lost. When in math mode, I can use \startalign to force alignment, like: \startalign foo \NC= bar \NC| baz \stopalgin However, I haven't manage to switch to math mode inside pretty printed text. Also, even if I would, I would get my text rendered in math mode, which probably won't work. So, I'm wondering if there is anything like \startalign to use outside of math mode? I've been looking at the implementation of \startalign, but couldn't find it... Some way to insert spacing until some fixed point (e.g. tab-stop like) would probably work, if I can define the tabstop on a case by case basis? Gr. Matthijs

Hi, currently the accuracy of the trimbox and cropbox breaks preflighting. While the mediabox is rounded to four numbers after the point, the other boxes have 11 numbers.
