framing in TABLEs

Hi, I'm updating a book of 2007 with many tables with empty, but framed cells. installing the letter module

Dear all This might be a trivial question for an expert user, but for an untrained end user this is not trivial, as I cannot find any documentation on wiki or anywere else. I would like to install the latest version of the letter module. How do I do this? I want to install it in a personal directory (say $(HOME)/usr/context/local-modules) and make sure that texexec will search this structure first before he tries to search the standard locations thanks stephen

Upcoming EuroTeX 2009

Dear TeX user, The upcoming EuroTeX 2009 takes place from August 31 till September 4 in Den Haag in The Netherlands. In parallel we will run the third ConTeXt conference. We already have some 25 talks and tutorials submitted but we need a few more as we run a parallel program. If you are willing to present a paper or tutorial, please let us know. The theme of the conference is "Educational Uses of TeX" but of course other TeX and MetaPost related topics will be covered as well. Depending on the amount of contributions we will program them in blocks that cover general topics but we will also cluster talks and turorials specific to macro packages in an additional program. You can send your proposal(s) to eurotex(a)ntg.nl. Registration for the conference closes at July 1, 2009. On behalf of the organization, Taco Hoekwater & Hans Hagen

AFAIK , me and Nino are the only two who,in the same day, were able to see face-to-face 0) Arthur (~Statelessnes) 1) Taco in The Nederlands 2) Wolfgang in Germany 3) Mojca in Slovenia ie, four "columns" in their rispective countries Also, AFAIK me and Nino are the only two who have seen Mojca's thesis, and this count double. PS x Idris I doubt that you will be able to find an offtopic like this... -- luigi

Furthermore, after the frontmatter the page numbers should start again with 1 (at least that is what I think) but they just continue (i.c. with 3). The previous TeX-file, in ntg-context Digest, Vol 63, Issue 6, message 6, showed almost the reverse, i.e. Roman numbers on the pages but not in the TOC but the body matter starting correctly on page 1. So if the present setup works correctly for Derek, why would it be it different on my system and what can I do about it? Sorry for intruding but this topic is important for me. Slovenian alphabetic itemize broken in MKIV

Hello, I guess again that the following example only breaks on my computer (this time it's probably true by definition). Any ideas about circumventing the problem are most welcome (PS: "Translate your text to English" is not considered a valid answer :). \mainlanguage[sl] \starttext \startitemize[a] \item something \item something \item something \item something \stopitemize \stoptext ! Roman Page numbers

The following minimal example is not working under MkIV. However it works under MkII \setuppagenumbering[conversion=romannumerals] \starttext \input knuth \stoptex What am I doing wrong? LuaTeX, Version beta-0.43.0-2009081914 Regards, Derek
