Hi Hans, why had you made the decision to change between single- and doublesided documents with the \setupagenumbering command and not with \setuplayout where one yould expect such a setup? metapost-pdf problem

Hi all, I have had trouble with metapost lately; mptopdf seems broken. Here are two small test files: rent.mp: ........................ input metafun; numeric u; u=15mm; beginfig(1); drawarrow (0,0)..(8u,0); draw (3u,-.2u)..(3u,.5u); label.bot(btex 0 etex, (3.2u,0)); endfig; end ....................... rent.tex: ....................... \starttext \externalfigure[/home/jean/graph/rent.1] \stoptext ....................... I run metapost on the first file and (nearly) everything seems all right; rent.1 is created and I can visualize it. \tfa or \bfa etc. doesn't work in math mode

Paragraphs that start with formatting fail to wrap around floats

I found what appears to be a bug. I can't find any documentation on it. If i'm doing something wrong, i would really appreciate it if someone would tell me so. Otherwise, please tell me it is a bug so i can stop pulling my hair out. If a paragraph starts with anything but plain text, it will not honor floating objects and will run over them. Here is an example: \starttext \placefigure[right,here]{none}{\framed[width=0.3\textwidth,height=0.3\textwidth]{Floating Thingoid}} {\bf T}his simple paragraph does not wrap around the floated figure. You can see it starts with a single boldface command.x xxx xxxx xxx x xxxx xxxxx xx xxxxxxxx x xx \bf{T}his paragraph will also not honor the float. It has an alternate form of the boldface command And yet this paragraph will. It starts with just plain text. xxxx xxx xxxx xxx x xxxx xxxxx xx xxxxxxxx x. xxxx xxx xxxx xxx x xxxx xxxxx xx xxxxxxxx x xxxx xxx xxxx xxx x xxxx xxxxx xx xxxxxxxx x xxxx xxx xxxx xxx x xxxx xxxxx xx xxxxxxxx x. \stoptext Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated. Hello, References to figures don't seem to work with latest version: \starttext \section[secref]{section} \placefigure[][figref]{caption}{figure} In section \in[secref] and in figure \in[figref]. % nothing here... \stoptext Cheers, Peter

strange unknown reference problem

Hi all, I got a strange "unknown reference" problem with the following simple example: %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% \starttext \placeformula[eq:haha] \startformula a^2 + d^2 = c^2 \stopformula haha \in[eq:haha] \stoptext %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% After 3 iterations, I saw this message in the log file: references : unknown reference [][eq:haha] I am using luatex beta-0.43.0-2009081911 Got the same problem with context version from 2009.6.14 to the latest beta. I also tried deleting everything and re-install the minimal dist., but still can't solve the problem. I wonder if anyone else has this problem, or it only occurs to me.
