Hi, i would like to write an FAQ for maritime distress radio. The spoken words and the "variables" should be highlighted in a nice way. What would you suggest me to do in context? The visual counter module

Hi, This is to announce an alpha release of the visual counter module. See http://randomdeterminism.wordpress.com/2010/11/14/visualcounter-module/ for some examples, in particular http://randomdeterminism.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/theorem.pdf The idea is to display a counter visually, in the same spirit as interactions bars. There is no support for interaction, but, on the plus sides, these work for any conter, not just the page counter. The idea of the module comes from the counters designed by Thomas as part of the simpleslides module. The module only works with MkIV because I am using the new namespace code. So MkII support is unlikely. Anyone else interested in such counters? Aditya

Interaction + Footnotes = invalid page reference

Hi again, this is no error, but I wondered why my log is cluttered with "invalid page reference: 0"-messages … till I found out. margin-bug in mkiv?

Hi, since mkiv (last updated 19.11.) \placeformua causes a bug regarding the placing of inner- and outermargins. If you remove the \placeformula in the following example the placing of inner- and outermargins is right. But as soon there is a \placeformula from that point on inner- and outermargins are switched every call. Is there a way around this problem or is someone able to correct this? Interestingly though, the formatting is slightly different between defining the blocks and using (recalling) the blocks. When I recall the blocks, the text appears a line below the enumeration labels (see example + attachment below). I can reproduce this but for mkiv (context <file>) the output in both cases is the same. Wolfgang Weird... when I try it here on mkiv, there is no output where I define the blocks (see attachment). I'm trying this on the "current" mimimals (downloaded today) on mac os x (10.6.5). [LuaTeX beta-0.64.0-2010111215, ConTeXt ver: 2010.07.30 11:35 MKIV fmt: 2010.11.19] Could this be some sort of bug? Is there anything you'd like me to try. thanks Glen
