LilyPond nowadays

Hi all, I've gotten back to tinkering with LilyPond, and wanted to ask if someone could send a small example of the new method of handling it, especially with some lilypond settings in the .ly file mentioned below. My initial trials make place the lilypond results on their own page. How would we get them placed in-line? Thanks, David RE: From the garden: The LilyPond module doesn't work any more with recent versions of ConTeXt. Tabulate

Hello, several questions about tabulate. Let's have: --- \starttext \setuptabulate[header=repeat] \starttabulatehead \HL \NC T \NC U \NC\AR % [1] \SR? \NR?... \HL \stoptabulatehead \starttabulate[|c|c|] \NC a \NC b \NC\NR \NC A \NC B \NC\NR \stoptabulate \hairline \starttabulate[|c|c|] \NC a \NC b \NC\NR \NC A \NC B \NC\NR \stoptabulate \stoptext --- - Which kind of \?R to write to [1] to get pretty placed horizontal line? (There is a huge unwanted space above the second \HL.) - How to rewrite the code above to affects only a particular kind of "tabulate"? I'd like to have a special \definetabulate which would contain "header=repeat" specification as well as a special "tabulehead" (my code affects all following \tabulates). How to rewrite it better? setupindenting[no] does not reset indentation for items

I have the following code: \starttext {\bf\em default} paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \startitemize \item paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \stopitemize \setupindenting[yes,medium] {\bf\em after setupindenting[yes,medium]} paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \startitemize \item paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \stopitemize \setupindenting[no] {\bf\em after setupindenting[no]} paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \startitemize \item paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \stopitemize \stoptext I would expect the default and setupindentation[no] to do the same. But it does not. By the last one normal text is not indented anymore, but the items still are. Is this a bug, or a feature? -- Cecil Westerhof

Margin text in doublesided documents

Hello, in my doublesided document \inmargin texts are always on the left side of the body text. \setuplayout[location=doublesided] \setuppagenumbering[location=right,alternative=doublesided] \setupmargindata[left][style=\tfx] \starttext \chapter{Chapter Knuth testing} \section{Section Knuth testing} \input knuth\inmargin{test}\input knuth\page \section{Section Knuth testing 2} bla bla \inmargin{test 1.5}bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla. \dorecurse{5}{\input knuth}Nochmal \inmargin{test 2}ein Test.\dorecurse{5}{\input knuth}\inmargin{bla} \stoptext Also, is \setupinmargindata equivalent to the old \setupinmargin? How to set oldstyle numbering globally?

Hi, In my earlier MkIV minimal ConTeXt installation (dec.2010) I used the following in my preamble to activate oldstyle numbering: \usetypescript[schola] \setupbodyfont[schola,8pt] \definefontfeature [oldstyle] [default] [onum=yes] \addff{oldstyle} but this doesn't seem to work anymore in my recently installed minimal ConTeXt installation (ConTeXt ver: 2011.03.30 11:21 MkIV fmt: 2011.3.30 int: english/english). I use this installation with Debian 6.0 (Squeeze). Any idea what's wrong? Regards, Gerard Verhaag

Frame until the bottom of the page

Hi, I want to create a frame that should occupy the remaining space on the page. For example, if I call this frame when the page is 1/3rd full, I want the frame to have an height of 0.667\textheight. How can I do that? In other words, how to I find out how much space is left on the current page? Thanks, Aditya

Title in textrule

Dear all, is there a way to change the style and size of the font used to print "Instruments" in the following example ? I would like something like \bfb\ss. \textrule[top]{Instruments} Some artists mention the instruments that they use during the production of their \kap{CD}. In Peter Gabriel’s \quote {Digging in the dust} he used the {\em diembe}, {\em tama} and {\em surdu}. The information on another song mentions the {\em doudouk}. luatex-cache setup

Hello. I use a few tools from ConTeXt such as mptopdf, and whenever I run them they generate a 'luatex-cache' folder directly under my user folder, but this luatex-cache folder is not hidden. How can I configure ConTeXt or luatex to tell it where the cache folder should be? (I looked up the archives and docs but I didn't find anything about this.)
