Hi, in the latest beta (211.04.13), the cdots in the following, display as a blank: \starttext foo $x \cdots y$ bar. \stoptext ldots, however, work fine. Regards, Mathieu

Hello, is it possible to specify some text to be used as the end of a description? I tried this: --- \starttext \definedescription[Owner][headstyle=em,width=broad,titleright={--- }] \Owner{AAA} Abc \stoptext --- - Hoping to get "AAA --- Abc". But I got just "AAA Abc". OT: drawing graphs: Asymptote, Gnuplot, MetaFun, …

Dear ConTeXt folks, I need to plot some random walks similar to [1], but for example I need to emphasize certain sections of the plot and put labels and notes in there. Could you recommend a tool to easily accomplish that goal with easily. I guess it can be done with any of those as seen by the demos [2][3]. I only have little experience using Gnuplot and I have never used Asymptote or MetaFun. These three seem to be well integrated with ConTeXt and I guess in the end I could just create the image files and include these in to my ConTeXt source. The only downside of Asymptote I found so far is, that there is no mailing list. margin in TEXpage

Hello All, In the following minimal example there is no whitespace around the figure. Is it possible to add some white space around the figure when using \startTEXpage \stopTEXpage environment. I've added this to the TABLE wiki since this example above is a table, however I suspect this would work for any "frame". Is there a reason why this doesn't work with mkii? I'm not using mkii for a long time now, just the wiki didn't rendered this example properly and also on my local machine it didn't show the thick rules, works perfectly with mkiv though. Cheers Adam

Fastcolor and linenumbering in MkII

Hi, In MkII, linenumbering stops working if \dostartattributes with a color is used inside; for example: \setupcolors[state=start] \getparameters[test][color=red,style=] \starttext \startlinenumbering \dostartattributes{test}{style}{color} Why no number? \dostopattributes \stoplinenumbering \stoptext The output of the above does not have a line number. I have been able to reduce it to the following minimal example. \setupcolors[state=start] \starttext \startlinenumbering \faststartcolor[red] Why no number? \faststopcolor \stoplinenumbering \stoptext It works if I add any text before \faststartcolor \setupcolors[state=start] \starttext \startlinenumbering Got it now! % or \strut \faststartcolor[red] Why no number? \faststopcolor \stoplinenumbering \stoptext What is going on here? Of course, everything works correctly in MkIV. Aditya

Strange bug with arranging

Hi, I am using MkIV 2011.03.30, and arranging is not working correctly. For example, \setuppapersize[A5][A4,landscape] \setuparranging[2SIDE] \starttext \subject{One} \dorecurse{4}{\input knuth\relax} \subject{Two} \dorecurse{4}{\input tufte\relax} \stoptext which gives the attached output. Notice that page 4 (right hand page of actual page 2) is empty and the text is moved to page 5. Any idea what is going on? Aditya

How to add metapost 3rd party modules
