Minimals tree on Wiki?

Searching information in the Wiki on the minimals tree the following page: http://wiki.contextgarden.net/ConTeXt_Minimals/Tree did not render as expected, the thumnails are not showing; example: Error creating thumbnail: convert: unable to open image `/var/www/contextgarden.net/contextwiki/images/4/46/P1030314.jpg': No such file or directory. convert: missing an image filename `/var/www/contextgarden.net/contextwiki/images/thumb/4/46/P1030314.jpg/300px-P1030314.jpg'. Problem compiling document

Hi, I am a latex user trying to extend my knowledge to include ConTeXt. I have installed TeXLive2010 along with some latex editors including TeXWorks. The file attached when run using the Texworks menu item(ConTeXt) or command line texexec option produce the following: MTXrun | kpse fallback with progname 'context' initialized in 0.524 seconds TeXExec | processing document 'sample-letter-test.tex' TeXExec | no ctx file found TeXExec | tex processing method: context TeXExec | TeX run 1 TeXExec | writing option file sample-letter-test.top TeXExec | using randomseed 510 TeXExec | tex engine: pdftex TeXExec | tex format: cont-en This is pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.10 (MiKTeX 2.8) initexmf: Unknown format name/engine: cont-en/pdfTeX I can't find the default format file! TeXExec | runtime: 0.276 Is there something I'm missing? What exactly is the format file mentioned here? The actual document I am trying to typeset is attached. Thanks. problems installing module »filter« using `./first-setup.sh --external="t-filter"`

Dear ConTeXt folks, I am trying to install the module »filter« [1] but using the following does not work. attachment attaches twice

Hi I'm trying to use PDF attachments again, but run into some issues. Here's my small example (att.tex): %%% start %%% \setupinteraction[state=start] \starttext \useattachment[myfile][title][name][att.tex] \attachment[myfile] \stoptext %%% end %%% 1) Using context-current makes 1 attachment, whereas context beta makes 2 attachments (page + attachments tab?). I've attached the two generated PDFs. I guess the "attachments tab" attachment is not intended. 2) The third parameter should give a custom name for the attachment, and I recall this from old times (maybe mkii) to behave like that, though I can't reproduce this now. Is this broken (as it has no effect right now)? 3) I want to have some attachments (source code) from a url, can this be added to behave like \externalfigure? I want to use it like this: "\useattachment[myfile][title][name][http://git.example.com/master/att.tex]" Right now that just attaches an "Unknown" (maybe shortcut) but it cannot be viewed/opened or saved. tikz / pgf 2.10: errors

When compiling this code \usemodule[pgf] \starttext test \stoptext I get an error: >------snip------> (/apps/texlive/2010/texmf-dist/tex/generic/pgf/systemlayer/pgfsys-pdftex.def (/apps/texlive/2010/texmf-dist/tex/generic/pgf/systemlayer/pgfsys-common-pdf.def) ! Undefined control sequence. \pgfutil@addpdfresource@colorspaces ...olorspaces {#1} l.396 ...rspaces{ /pgfprgb [/Pattern /DeviceRGB] } The latex pendant (even with a tikz picture in it) compiles fine. I have another computer with an older version of pgf, which works well (with context and with latex). After an update to 2.10, context stopped working, latex still does. Is anyone else encountering this problem? Regards, Christoph

Setting footnotes in two columns-> lines not breaking [mkiv]

Hello, I already mentioned this some time ago, but I lost track of that email. Since the problem still exists in the after today's update, I'll try again: \setupnote[footnote][n=2] \starttext \dorecurse{6}{\input hawking\footnote{Nevertheless, there must be a line break in the footnotes}} \stoptext Can someone confirm this behavior or even propose a fix? Skipping item numbers in an itemized list?

Hello, The effect I want is something like: 1. First item 2. Second item 5. Fifth item 6. Sixth item 8. Eight item and so on. Every now and then I need to skip a number or two. In LaTeX I could do this with \addtocounter{enumi}{2} - but how is this done in ConTeXt? Thanks very much, Alasdair
