Dear Wolfgang, Your animation module works really fine. It reduces a lot of work to set the fieldstack. I'd like to ask you a few more small things. 1) Is it possible to set the duration time in the case of autoplay? 2) The location of buttons is leftaligned when [menu=yes]. Is it what you want or I did something wrong? 3) What is the meaning of "\start and \stop" in animation-1.tex? 4) In your animation-2.tex, the size of buttons can be controlled by setting foregroundstyle. [OT ?] New vi-like editor for Mac

Hi folks, Thought a few of you might share my interest in a new editor, vico ( http://www.vicoapp.com/ ), in development for the Mac. Vi(m)-like, configurable with nu scripting, nice interface (variable width-fonts in vi!), handles at least some TextMate bundles (like the ConTeXt and LilyPond bundles, at least partially .... to be tested further), handles remote directories via ssh, responsive developer. Not free after full release, if that's a kicker. Dave

Setuplayout bug?

Hi, The \setuplayout command causes problems I don't understand, sorry! I use the following setup in a screen (\setuppapersize[S6][S6]) document: \setuplayout [header=0cm, topspace=.2cm, backspace=.2cm, margin=0cm, width=fit, footer=1cm, bottomdistance=5pt, bottom=20pt, height=fit] This gives a result as aspected! However adding the setting rightedge=3cm to the layout command, for a menu, yields an unexpected result. Okay, an area on the right of the screen is indeed blank as aspected! But the text of a full page is also shifted downward, and overlaps the text within the footer area, which is quite weird isn't it? I don't grasp this footer problem as indicated above!!!! I copied t-animation.mkvi ../texmf-local/tex/context and run luatools --generate. After that try your sample file "animation-1.tex" and got a undefined control sequence -> \startanimation. The fact is that luatools didn't locate it. Should I do some more things to make it work? Is the module name t-animation.mkvi not ~.mkiv? Thank you again. Best regards, Dalyoung

Math spacing after comma (MkIV)

Hi, please consider this: \starttext \math{1, 2, 3} \stoptext Spacing after comma in MkIV is practically nonexistent. Is this intended? Vedran P.S. Using or not using OTF has no effect.

floats disturb section placement

Hi, attached you may find a 4-page minimal example containing 1 table and 3 section headings. If the table is set with \placetable[force]{Test}{ ... then the vertical distance above the headings is consistent. When you make it floatable: \placetable{Test}{ ... the the headings AFTER the table get a spurious extra space above! How can this be avoided? Every help is very welcome!! (URGENT) floating objects causing bug

Hi Hans, while finishing a big project (900 pages, 300 floating tables/figures) I noticed that the first line of each page is moving up/down (almost half a line)! Reason: As soon a a floating object is placed the next page is disturbed. I wrote a small minimal (see below) that shows the problem: compare the first lines of page 1 und 3 please. My project is otherwise finished ... :o( Do you think you could manage to write a fast patch for his bug, so I can deliver it tomorrow? Dear Wolfgang and Hans, Thank you for checking. I'll wait for next beta.
