Hello, in the following example it is possible to split a table vertical (between the first and the second column with (\startxcell[distance=5pt] test \stopxcell). \starttext \startxtable[option={stretch,width}] \startxrow \startxcell[distance=5pt] test \stopxcell \startxcelltest \stopxcell \startxcelltest \stopxcell \stopxrow \startxrow \startxcelltest \stopxcell \startxcelltest \stopxcell \startxcelltest \stopxcell \stopxrow \startxrow \startxcelltest \stopxcell \startxcelltest \stopxcell \startxcelltest \stopxcell \stopxrow \stopxtable \stoptext But how can I get horizontal spacing between "only" two rows, and not for the whole table? Refreshing (synchronizing) values between Lua variables and TeX registers

Hello ConTeXist and Lua experts Is there any way to refresh values between the values stored in Lua code and TeX registers? I need to evaluating the values of TeX registers (counters, dimensions, height of boxes, etc.) during the Lua cycle. I would like in the cycle read values from the TeX registers and write back there so that all values were always synchronized. Or I need advice on how to proceed. Most of my Lua code is in a separate file in Lua function. Is there a universal way to "jump out of cycle" to TeX synchronize all values between TeX registers and Lua values (even at the cost of slowing down) and then go back into the cycle and continue? I do not write cycles using the TeX macro language, but so far I'm failing in way around it. What I need to I knowing or What I need to learn? labeltext assignment

Hi all, there appears to be something special about how the key-value list works with \setuplabeltext: ······································································· \setuplabeltext [ foo=bar, %% <- comma not allowed here? % foo=bar %% <- works ] \starttext \labeltext{foo} \stoptext ······································································· Normally the trailing comma causes no trouble, but here it won’t even compile. Deleting "-temp" files

Hi, context --purgeall deletes all temporary files (i.e., files containing "-temp-"). In fact, I had requested this feature so that the filter module does not clutter the current directory with temporary files. However, there is a bug. ConTeXt deletes all files containg "-temp" (note the missing "-" at the end). So, $ touch A1-temperature.tex $ context --purgeall gives mtx-context | purged files: A1-temperature.tex AFAICS, mtx-context.lua is correct. It contains "-temp-" as expected. So, I don't know why files containing "-temp" are deleted. Aditya

Can C-Pretty-Printing module for MKIV be installed through first-setup

Hello, I'd like to use C-Pretty-Printing module. As it is listed on http://modules.contextgarden.net I thought it should be installed by first-setup.sh --modules=all. outlines don't work?

Dear list! I would like to use the "outline" feature of context. The following (hopefully minimal) example gives me <Nothing> as output ------------------- \starttext \setupcolors[state=start] \definelayer[L] \setupbackgrounds[page][background={L}] \startuseMPgraphic{PN} graphictext "Bla Bla" scaled 4 withcolor blue withfillcolor .7white withpen pencircle scaled 2pt; \stopuseMPgraphic \null\dontcomplain \setlayer[L]{\useMPgraphic{PN}} \stoptext ---------------- I saw a probably related post on this list on May, 30th. (subject "graphictext fails) Also, my .mpy file is empty. A .tex file and a .pdf is generated though My environment is as follows: OS: Debian AMD64 wheezy / sid Context: current version: 2012.06.13 23:46 (tried also some older versions, no difference) pstoedit: 3.60 (maybe some problems here?) parameter setting

In order to be able to use attributes on xml-nodes freely, the following situations can arise: The foregroundcolor parameter gets a value: <node color="red"> correctly sets ..[foregroundcolor=\xmlatt{#1}{color}] color to red. However, in the next case the current foregroundcolor should be left as is, but reverts to black: <node> ..[foregroundcolor=] and is apparently reset to the general default. trying the following seemed the solution, but it does not work: ..[\doifnot{\xmlatt{#1}{color}}{\empty}{foregroundcolor=\xmlatt{#1}{color}}] giving in the log: {foregroundcolor=orange}' in line 16 (249>:) check > missing or ungrouped '=' after '\doifnot {}{} Putting the above \doif inside an \expanded{} does not alter the behaviour. problem with xtable

Using \startxtable gives an error, whereas \startembeddedxtable does not. What is the cause, what is the difference?
