New module: pararef

Hallo, after so many of you helped me, I want to give back. I just made my t-pararef module public for everyone: http://modules.contextgarden.net/pararef http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Paragraph_Referencing Please feel free to send me comments about the coding style and what I could have done in a better way. E.g. the interface file is missing, but I don't know how it should look like. But I hope mainly that it will prove beneficial for some of you. H.

Vertical positioning of floats within itemize

It's me again! This doesn't quite work as expected (at least by me, that is;)): \starttext \startitemize \startitem \placefigure[right,high,none]{}{\framed[width=3cm,height=2cm]{!}} \input knuth \stopitem \stopitemize \stoptext (Namely, at the beginning of the \item there is something like a "blank line".) If I move \placefigure before \startitem, it looks better, but this seems to be a nasty hack. Do you have any idea how to achieve this effect in a more elegant way? ConTeXt inputs files from TEXMF/doc

Hello, I used \externalfigure[background] in a document (and I forgot to compile the local file background.tex) and ended up with a pleasant surprise: the command included /usr/local/texlive/2012/texmf-dist/doc/latex/background/background.pdf instead of complaining that the file doesn't exist. Shouldn't ConTeXt prevent inclusion of documents from "doc"? Mojca PS: tested with ConTeXt from TeX Live (as is probably evident from the fact that the file from TL has been found).

Controlling vertical position of floats

Hi again, \placefigure[right,<option>]{caption}{figure} does different things with option being (a) empty, (b) high, (c) low. Could anyone explain to me the exact meaning of these three alternatives? Also, is it possible to manually fine-tune the vertical position, so that the figure seems optically aligned with the surrounding text? How to get bolder and larger item symbol?

Numbering subformulas

Hi Aditya, It seems that numbering subformulas as described in your « My Way » magazine entitled « Using \startalign » does not work with mkiv. The following minimal example taken from page 6 of the above mentioned manual, does not result in what is described there: \starttext \placesubformula \startformula \startalign \NC a_1 x + b_1 y \NC = c_1 \NR[eq:c][c] \NC a_2 x + b_2 y \NC = c_2 \NR[eq:d][d] \stopalign \stopformula (\in[eq:c]) and (\in[eq:d]) form a linear system of equations. \stoptext Is this a known bug? Parameter scale in copypages in latest beta

Hi, I was importing a PDF inside my document, but the scale parameter is now ignored. It's reproducible with any PDF with: \starttext \copypages[tt.pdf][scale=500] \stoptext Any idea ? Thanks Charles
