problem with initialize_box in mkIV

Hi there, i'm having problems with metapost and positional graphics in mkIV. Here is a small test file that compiles OK with texexec but fails to compile with context: % the beginning \defineoverlay[frames][\positionoverlay{frames}] \setupbackgrounds[page][background=frames] \startMPpositiongraphic{frame} initialize_box(\MPpos{\MPvar{self}}); draw llxy--lrxy--urxy--ulxy--cycle; \stopMPpositiongraphic \startpositionoverlay{frames} \setMPpositiongraphic{one}{frame} \setMPpositiongraphic{two}{frame} \stoppositionoverlay \starttext This \hpos{one}{word} should be \hpos{two}{framed}. \stoptext % the end My system is a Debian Testing, but I don't believe that it is related to the distribution, as this example also fails in the context online compiler @ http://live.contextgarden.net/ The problem seems located around the initialize_box macro. Any help will be much appreciated. AG. So far they all ran smoothly with each of my whole collection of minimals, including the latest (= yesterday's) beta. So I will have to look in some of the auxiliary files, setups etc. for the cause of my trouble. luatex 0.75

Hi, I uploaded a beta. This will be the last one useable with pre-0.75 luatex so if you depend on it, best make a snapshot now. Some 50 files will be replaced in 0.75 and I'm not sure when Mojca will do the 0.75 garden update. luatex 0.75 and Debian Wheezy

Hi, Debian Wheezy (soon to be released) uses GLIBC_2.13, so this error is expected. texlua: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found (required by texlua) Regards, Bernard

Trouble with \placefloat in recent versions of the standalone

Dear all, With recent standalones (jan. 7, jan. 29 and march 2) I am experiencing trouble processing .tex-files that gave no problems in november (14-11). For instance, when processing with "ConTeXt ver: 2013.01.02 18:19 MKIV fmt: 2013.1.7 int: english/english", the log file gives the following information: ------------------------------------------------------------------- ! Also, \placetable[here][tab:ref]{caption}} does not seem to trigger problems in recent versions. Has something been changed in the commands for placing external figures since november? XML Lua engine in ConTeXt

Hello, which XML processing Lua engine is used by ConTeXt? There are more XML processors developed for Lua - LuaXML, LuaExpat etc. Does ConTeXt use one of these or another, or its own - a built-in one? As I'm processing XML tables with pure Lua, too, I'd like to use only one engine in pure Lua scripts and within ConTeXt; I believe it could be possible. Best regards, Lukas -- Ing. processing xml with lua

Hi all, one of my favorite topics… Here is a minimal example which shows something that I don't understand: when I process the subsection with the lua code, I want to get the value of the current section's "label" attribute in xml.attribute(r, "../../section", "label", "X"). So i was expecting that lua would go up (../../) and fetch the current section's label. But if you run the example, you see that it actually always gets the first section's label (value is always 1). How can I get the current section's label with a lua function?
