! LuaTeX error [string "\directlua "]:1: invalid escape sequence

Hey list, I am having problems typesetting the following minimal to try and extract the current revision number from my revision control system: % Bzr revision... \def\initializeBzr {\ctxlua{context("\\global\\edef\\BzrRevision{\%s}", os.resultof"bzr revno | tr -d '\\n'")}} \initializeBzr \starttex foo \stoptex The error I receive is: ! LuaTeX error [string "\directlua "]:1: invalid escape sequence near '\%'. system > tex > error on line 5 in file minimal.tex: LuaTeX error ... Line 5 is the \initializeBzr invocation. This was working with TeX Live 2012, but perhaps the correct usage has changed. I am now using ConTeXt 2013.04.11 19:55 with LuaTeX beta-0.76.0-2013041612 (TeX Live 2013) (rev 4627). \setupbreakpoint[compound] not working

Hi, I do not get a line-break after a dash if I set \setupbreakpoint[compound] Minimal example (tested with 2013.04.14 MkIV) \setbreakpoints[compound] \setuppapersize[S3] \showframe \starttext ABCD node-to-node node-to-node node-to-node node-to-node \stoptext See the attached file for output. Is it a bug, or am I missing something. Aditya

Best result so far is: \setuplayout[grid=yes] \showgrid \setuphead[subsection] [before={\testpage[5]\blank[2*line]}] \setuphead[grid=high] \starttext \dorecurse{15}{Linefill\\} \input tufte \subsection{Hallo} \input tufte \subsection{Hallo} \input tufte \input tufte \stoptext But it is not good as my original, and the so the values make sense: \setuplayout[grid=yes] \showgrid \setuphead[subsection] [after=\vskip-1.6mm, before={\testpage[5]\vskip1.6mm}]] \starttext \dorecurse{18}{Linefill\\} \input tufte \subsection{Hallo} \input tufte \subsection{Hallo} \input tufte \input tufte \stoptext The second example has better (nicer) distances. The reason is: The title should not be perfectly on the grid, only the text. Is there a way to achieve that without those "odd" values, and so without the grid-error? Huseyin

Hi, for subsections I use \setuphead[subsection] [after=\vskip-1.6mm, before={\testpage[5]\vskip1.6mm}] The reason is perfect distances between text-subsection-text with activated gridding. If the subsection is not set by \testpage on the next page, then everything workes fine! But if, then I want to not use the \vskips in "after" and "before". I want (in pseudo-pseudocode) something like this: if(less then 5 lines, thas is, testpage sets the subsection on the next page) then: \setuphead[subsection] [after=, before=] I hope I could make clear, what I intend to achieve. For testing: +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ \setuplayout[grid=yes] \showgrid \setuphead[subsection] [after=\vskip-1.6mm, before={\testpage[5]\vskip1.6mm}]] \starttext \dorecurse{13}{Linefill\\} \input tufte \subsection{Hallo} \input tufte \subsection{Hallo} \input tufte \input tufte \stoptext +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ You see on the second page the problem: gridding is lost. Hi, how to underlay a text (or simply one word) with a (grey) colored rectangle, just to highlight – like if I had marked it by hand with a grey marker-pen? Thanks. Huseyin

With \placetable[force][] one can force to set the table here. Other keywords like" here, auto" etc. do work aswell. But with \starplacetable it does not work, how to do it correctly? My try was: \startplacetable[force][title={Blub}]{<table>} But that does not work, the table is shifted to a "best place", if there would be no "force". Syntax wrong? Huseyin
