In particular, it passes the alternate text checks. Hovering over the image shows the alternate text in Acrobat. However, VoiceOver (on the Mac) does not read the alternate text; it completely ignores the existence of the image. In Preview, no alternate text is shown or read. So it seems that the only benefit is that readers with vision can see an alternate text... I don’t have access to a Windows machine, so I cannot test what other screen readers can do with this document. Thanks, Matthias

curl missing from Docker image -> install-modules does not work

Hello, installing modules into the docker image is not possible since the curl command is not part of the image. TDM Reservation Protocol (TDMRep)

Hi, we just saw the Accessibility Directive, now there is another demand: the TDM protocol (concerning the reuse of protected works for AI training purposes). Is it possible to implement these TDM Metadata when producing PDF files with ConTeXt? This technique provides a way to embed the rightsholder's choice into a PDF file. cannot find fonts in a manual install; what did I miss

Hello! Since OpenBSD has upgraded to 7.7, I performed a manual installation of LMTX standalone after upgrading to my new OS version. What I did: download cont-lmt.zip into /usr/local/context/tex/texmf-context/ mv /home/dthiriet/cont-lmt.zip . unzip cont-lmt.zip cd source/luametatex/ ./build.sh (ou si ça ne marche pas pour des raisons d’autorisation: sh build.sh) cp build/native/luametatex tex/texmf-openbsd-amd64/bin/ depuis $HOME mtxrun --generate mtxrun --script fonts --reload Everything compiles, but the fonts are not found: fonts > defining > font with asked name 'lmsans10-regular' is not found using lookup 'file' fonts > defining > unable to define 'lmsans10-regular' as 'modern-12pt-ss-tf-' fonts > defining > forced type 'otf' of 'latinmodern-math' not found fonts > defining > unable to define 'latinmodern-math.otf' as 'modern-12pt-mm-mr-' fonts > defining > unable to define 'latinmodern-math.otf' as 'modern-12pt-mm-mb-' fonts > 'fallback modern ss 12pt' is loaded When I search my texmf-context file, I cannot find these otf files, so the problem isn't that I put them in the wrong place. I compared with my previous context install, and I can see the difference is that in the former my tree looked like this /usr/local/context | |-- texmf-context/ |-- texmf-openbsd-amd64/ |-- texmf This texmf/ folder, which contains fonts/ (with lmodern otf files and so on) and web2c misses in my current tree. But the context-readme.txt AFAIU does not say anything about a texmf/ folder in the tree. What did I miss? Should I have downloaded another zip from pragma pages? Thanks, Damien

How to easily comment out/uncomment multiple lines all at once?

I have a single *.tex file that I have setup, here's a simple minimal example: \define\macroA{This outputs some stuff.} \define\macroB{\input knuth } \define\macroC{This outputs other stuff.} \define\macroD{This outputs other stuff.} \define\macroE{This outputs other stuff.} \define[2]\macroF{This is text #1 and #2.} \define\macroG{This outputs other stuff.} \define\macroH{This outputs other stuff.} \starttext \macroA%\macroB%\macroC%\macroD%\macroE %%% some more code \macroF{a}{b}\macroG\macroH \stoptext Normally, I will compile it as above, so only two of the macros actually appear. But sometimes, for testing purposes, I want to make sure my code is functioning good, so I will go an un-comment all of the macros, and then compile, and it basically does a test, making sure all of the macros in my code function perfectly. When testing, it looks like this: \starttext \macroA\macroB\macroC\macroD\macroE %%% some more code \macroF{a}{b}\macroG\macroH \stoptext Because the actual file is quite large, commenting and un-commenting the lines takes a long time, and can lead to mistakes. Is there any simpler way to easily switch between the two versions? --Joel
