Hello, I read this very good document and it says that it was written with the Pagella font. I use this font with a simple \setupbodyfont[pagella,11pt] but I find that the rendering is not the same as on the document, it is less nice especially in the writing of the theorems with the text in italic. Imaginary impression or reality ? Thanks. Fabrice

horizontal line in math align environment

Hi everyone, I’m working on creating a horizontal line within a math align environment that spans the entire equation, rather than being restricted by the columns. My current "solution" is to use `\hl`, as shown below: ``` \startformula \startalign \NC a + b \NC = c \NR \NC d + e \NC = f \NR \NC \hl[4]\NC \hl[4] \NR \NC g + h \NC = i \NR \stopalign \stopformula ``` While this somewhat works, it’s not exactly what I’m aiming for. I need the line to extend across the full width of the equation. My final goal is something like this: \startformula \startalign[n=11] \NC \NC 1001 \NC \rightarrow \NC 1000 \NC + \NC 000 \NC + \NC 00 \NC + \NC 1 \NR \NC + \NC 100 \NC \rightarrow \NC \NC \NC 100 \NC + \NC 00 \NC + \NC 0 \NR % here should be a horizontal line \NC \NC \NC \rightarrow \NC 1000 \NC + \NC 100 \NC + \NC 00 \NC + \NC 1 \NR \NC \NC \NC \rightarrow \NC 1101 \NC \NC \NC \NC \NC \NC \NR % here should be a horizontal line \NC = \NC 1101 \NC \NC \NC \NC \NC \NC \NC \NC \NR \stopalign \stopformula The horizontal line should not take the height of a hole line. I also considered using `\underline{}`, but it wont span across multiple columns. I’ve heard of `\noalign`, but I couldn’t find any helpful resources on it, and my attempts to use it were unsuccessful. In LaTeX, the desired outcome would be something like this: ``` \begin{equation*} \begin{split} x &= 1 \\ y &= 2 \\ \hline x + y &= 3 \end{split} \end{equation*} ``` Does anyone have suggestions for achieving this effect in ConTeXt? At the meeting I noted a few units that I didn’t know about, while I already knew many. * general units: in, m, cm, mm (ft?) * typographical units: pt, dd, bp, pc, cc, sp * font related: em, ex, fs, fa, fd, fc, ch * layout related: pw, ph, tw, th, cw, cd, lw, hs, vh * frame related: fw, fh, fo * funits: dk, es, tv, eu Are there even more? According to docs, \setupunit[method=3] should change the rendering of numbers in \unit{10,123.99 mm} or \digits{10,123.99} to “10\,123,99”, but it doesn’t. \setdigitmode{3} works, though. Hraban

Is there a short-cut to adding sub-categories for index entries?

I have a document with thousands of index entries. Here’s a samplecode: \starttext Some people livedin \index{cliff-dwelling}cliff-dwellings, while others lived in\index{lean-to}lean-tos. \placeindex \stoptext This produces anindex like this: c cliff-dwelling 1 l lean-to 1 I’d like to createan index with much more sub-categories to find the same entries, forinstance, a category of “dwellings”: c cliff-dwelling 1 d dwellings cliff-dwelling 1 lean-to 1 l lean-to 1 As I’m aware, theway to code this is as follows: \starttext Some people livedin\index{cliff-dwelling}\index{dwellings+cliff-dwelling}cliff-dwellings,while others lived in\index{lean-to}\index{dwellings+lean-to}lean-tos. \placeindex \stoptext I’m wondering ifthere is a short-cut means to set this up, such that if I can tellthe document that any time it sees “cliff-dwellings” in an index,it will also add its page numbers to under “dwellings+cliff-dwelling”? In other words, is there an easierway to add these categories, then to go through the entire documentand mark them? I already have a list of all the words. For instance, in my above code, I must find every \index{cliff-dwelling} entry and add a \index{dwellings+cliff-dwelling} next to it...which would take hundreds of hours if I did that for every word. Is there a quicker way to tell it always also add it under "dwellings" too? --Joel
