Is there an "align with item on facing page" option?

Is there a way to align text with an item on the facing page? I'm typesetting author biographies for a book and I'm doing two per page. The author's name appears on a line of its own in \tfa size and then the bio text follows. Ideally I'd like their names aligned so that all four (on a two page spread) appear nicely symmetrical. Currently I'm using \godown[\dimexpr80mm-\pagetotal] (for A5 pages) between each pair which works nicely in that if the first biography is too long it overlaps and I know to edit it to be shorter. However, if the second biography is a little long, it pushes the first back up the page a little - maybe only one line - and then it no longer aligns with the the one on the facing page. If I could somehow tell ConTeXt to vertically align the author names then that might do the job? I've tried using two frames above each other with fixed min and maxheight but then I can't get the author's thumbnail picture to place properly and have the text wrap around it. Math alignment question

Dear Mikael and Hans, Recently, you introdued the new command “\alignhere, \breakhere, \skiphere” which works fine. Since I usually use the following code that is adopted from My Way(Mathalign.pdf), I’d like to know that there is a way to use “\alignhere, \breakhere, \skiphere” for the case below? \startformula\startalign \NC A \NC = 3 \NR \NC B \NC = 5 \NR \stopalign\stopformula Thank you. setupregister with realpage?

Dear list, \setuplist has the convenient option [pagenumber=realpage] \setupregister has not (yet). How can I get the realpagenumber instead of the userpagenumber for the register indices? I tried \def\MyPageCommand#1{\realpagenumber} \setupregister[MyIndex][pagecommand=\MyPageCommand] but this prints only the current (although real) page number. Thank you! Benjamin

Math alignment problem

Dear List! I do not know how to solve this issue. I want the formulas appear on same height, as you can se on the attachment the formula containing a fraction displaces on another vertical position compared to the other equations. How do I correct this? hash for buffer contents

missing space with French quotation

Hi, With the latest ConTeXt version, there is a missing space: \mainlanguage[fr] \setcharacterspacing[frenchpunctuation] \starttext bla \quotation{OK} bla\\ bla «OK» bla \startquotation Here is missing space \stopquotation \stoptext How could I get back the space before "»" please? Hi, we (Dreiviertelhaus publishers) are considering to publish a German translation of some works of Flemish author Hubert Lampo. cannot update ConTeXt to 2022.09.16

Dear list, after updating to latest from 2022.09.11 20:44 (altough LMTX was tagged as 20220918), I’m afraid I cannot update ConTeXt to 2022.09.16 (current latest according to https://www.pragma-ade.com/download-1.htm). This happens to me with both Windows and Linux (both 64bit). I guess this might be related to the issue with certificates and domains. Could anyone confirm the issue?
