Trying to make all links in my document blue instead of red or green

I'm trying to make all the hyperlinks in my document blue. Here's my example: \setupinteraction [state=start, color=blue, contrastcolor=blue ] \starttext \completecontent \section{Section A} \subsection{SubSection A.A} \pagebreak[yes] \section {Section B — on another page} \subsection {SubSection B.A — on another page} \stoptext When I format it with ConTeXt (ConTeXt ver: 2021.06.18 23:37 LMTX fmt: 2021.6.19 int: english/english) links to destinations on the same page come out black while links to destinations on another page come out blue, as I'd intended. Here is a screen shot: [image: image.png] Notice that the Contents lines with Section A and SubSection A.A are black? I'd expected them to be blue. -- T. \pdfbackendcurrentresources not expanded

Hi, Consider the following MWE, which uses the tizk module: \usemodule[tikz] \usetikzlibrary[fadings] \starttext \starttikzpicture \fill [path fading=west,red] (-1,-1) rectangle (1,1); \stoptikzpicture \stoptext When compiling with ConTeXt LMTX version 2021.06.18, the output PDF contains "\pdfbackendcurrentresources" in the middle of a resource dictionary. Apparently, this command does not get expanded but is written literally to the file, which makes the PDF corrupt. This command is used in the tikz module file pgfutil-context.def as: \def\pgf@sys@pdf@possible@resources{\pdfbackendcurrentresources} As mentioned in a comment in back-pdf.mkxl, the command is implemented in lua in lpdf-ini.lmt. The command is also used in mlib-pps.mkxl and is documented in ConTeXts interface. Can somebody tell why it is not expanded? Any help is appreciated. Cheers, Christoph

Font glyph replacement regression

Hi, In my documents I use the MyriadPro font of Adobe. Until recently, some glyphs were automatically replaced (in a correct way) for this font. In ConTeXt LMTX version 2021.09.18, the replacement stopped working: 1. En dash and em dash: "--" and "---" are not by default replaced any more. Using the font feature "trep" brings back the replacement in this case. See https://www.mail-archive.com/ntg-context@ntg.nl/msg98162.html 2. Apostrophe: "'" is not replaced by the proper apostrophe anymore. Unfortunately, I don't know any font feature to bring back this replacement. Any hints for this issue? Natural tables framecolor=white regression

Hi, Consider the following MWE: \starttext \setupTABLE[ rulethickness=5pt, framecolor=white, %red, background=color, backgroundcolor=gray, frame=off] \setupTABLE[1][2][foregroundcolor=white, topframe=on] \setupTABLE[r][2][topframe=on] \bTABLE[setups=table:color] \bTR \bTD One \eTD \bTD A \eTD \eTR \bTR \bTD \rotate[rotation=90]{Two} \eTD \bTD B \eTD \eTR \eTABLE \stoptext Attached is the result for ConTeXt LMTX version 2021.04.09 (and earlier) and for version 2021.06.18. In the latter case, the white frame is missing in the first column between row 1 and 2. Changing the frame color to red, makes the frame appear. Could this be a bug or am I doing something wrong? Functionnames disappearing (sometimes)

Hi, I noticed something strange today. If I use computer modern unicode (the concrete font) together with Neo Euler math then sometimes function names (like \sin, \cos, \tan) disappear. Sometimes they show (in non-displayed math and in fractions(?)). Attached is a file showing the problem, together with the output and the typescript file. I use the latest ConTeXt version and I have cleared the cache, but no change. Maybe I'm overlooking something, but what? /Mikael

Modify ToUnicode with Goodies

Hi, On Windows, we have the consola font. Consider the MWE: \starttext \definedfont[name:consola*default at 12 pt] - \stoptext The output PDF is correctly generated with recent versions of ConTeXt LMTX. The hyphen is, however, mapped to a soft hyphen <https://unicode-table.com/en/00AD/> by means of the ToUnicode table which contains: beginbfchar <015E> <00AD> endbfchar Consequently, when copying the text from the PDF and pasting in an editor or a console, the soft hyphen is pasted. I would like to change the ToUnicode information to an ordinary hyphen-minus <https://unicode-table.com/en/002D/>: beginbfchar <015E> <002D> endbfchar I have tried with a goodies file, and an updated MWE: --- 8< ------------------------------------------ return { name = "consola", version = "1.00", comment = "", author = "", copyright = "", remapping = { tounicode = true, unicodes = { hyphen = 0x002D, }, }, } --- 8< ------------------------------------------ \definefontfeature[consola][mode=base, goodies=consola, unicoding=yes] \starttypescript[mono][consolas] \definefontsynonym[ConsolasRegular][file:consola][features=consola] \stoptypescript \starttypescript[mono][consolas] \definefontsynonym[Mono][ConsolasRegular] \stoptypescript \definetypeface[Body][tt][mono][consolas][default] \setupbodyfont[Body, ss, 10pt] \starttext \tt - \stoptext --- 8< ------------------------------------------ Unfortunately, this has no effect. Straight Quotes / Curly Quotes

I've written a Java-based lexer/parser that can convert straight quotes to curly quotes for English prose. It's a one-pass algorithm (O(n)) that uses neither look-behind nor regex. Here's a list of test cases it handles: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/DaveJarvis/keenquotes/main/lib/src/test/r… A test harness converted several Project Gutenberg texts quite well. The folks at PG may be interested in using it themselves to help convert quotes in older texts en masse. The source code is MIT-licensed: https://github.com/DaveJarvis/keenquotes/ The code should port to Lua fairly easily, should anyone be interested in adding a straight/curly quotation mark conversion module to ConTeXt. (Similar to the LaTeX package, but without using regex.) Cheers everyone!

Fatal error: return code: 256 with documents in ConTeXt's distribution

I am trying to typeset some documents under tex/texmf-context/doc/context/sources with mixed results. I am using ConTeXt from TeX Live 2021, and the latest LMTX (just rsync'ed). Results vary: 1. Successful in both cases: $ /Library/TeX/texbin/mtxrun --script context --autogenerate mag-0000-mkiv.tex [...] system | total runtime: 5.074 seconds $ ~/context-osx-64/tex/texmf-osx-64/bin/mtxrun --script context --autogenerate mag-0000-mkiv.tex [... $ system | total runtime: 3.323 seconds of 3.389 seconds 2. Fatal error with TeX Live vs apparently stuck with beta: $ /Library/TeX/texbin/mtxrun --script context --autogenerate mag-1104-mkiv.tex [...] mtx-context | fatal error: return code: 256 $ ~/context-osx-64/tex/texmf-osx-64/bin/mtxrun --script context --autogenerate mag-1104-mkiv.tex [...] pages > flushing realpage 7, userpage 6, subpage 7 pages > flushing realpage 8, userpage 7, subpage 8 pages > flushing realpage 9, userpage 8, subpage 9 [Gets stuck at this point, with luametatex using 100% CPU] 3.
