Dear list, In the fonts-mkiv.pdf file, section 8.14.3 Examples, the table at the top of page 178 has all entries in the third column equal, when they shouldn't. Please, fix when possible. Color specific cells in a table

Hello, This table will be used to illustrate Pascal's triangle. I manage to color the cell (2,0) but I would also like to color the cells (2,1) and (3,1). Is it possible ? vertical align in tabulate paragraphs

Here’s another problem that I can’t reproduce in a MWE: In a tabulation that is set up like the example, in some cases the right column cell doesn’t top-align with the left one (see screenshot). In most cases it works. There’s no \setuptabulate in my environment; don’t know what else could influence this behaviour. Doesn’t seem to be grid or font related. Any hint where I could look? Am suddenly getting the error: close source > level 1, order 3, name '/home/me/Documents/Freedom/Context/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/mkiv/cont-yes.mkiv' ! error: (type 0): cannot find file ''mtx-context | fatal error: return code: 256 I really don't think I have done anything to remove any essential parts of ConTeXt. Of course I can reinstall, but before I do, it would be good to understand what could have caused this error or if, indeed, it might be easily fixed even without reinstalling (a standalone). Julian

Chapter heading with rules

Have achieved a Chapter title with rules either side (see below - not an original invention!) but I want the chapter number to be part of 'My Chapter Title'; instead, the following MWE means it comes before the ChapterLeftRule. I know I can do it by actually putting the number before My Chapter title (e.g. 1 My Chapter Title), since the proper numbered version still appears in the TOC, but my preference would be to include a command in the \setuphead, if possible (so long as it still allows the numbered chapter to appear in the TOC of course). Chapter numbering after \part

By default, chapter numbers coming after \part are numbered 1.1... 2.1... and so on. But in my case I need them to still be simply 1,2... for each part. Is there a way I can get this numbering to occur? I thought I could do it using ownnumber=, but that doesn't work. Then I tried a makeup, because I thought that would create a 'Part' page independent of chapter numbers - but that doesn't work either:-). Am sure it is achievable, however.... Julian

custom header/footer for 1st/other pages of section

Hola, I imagine this is probably simple but I can't find it... I want the first page only of each section to have particular content in header/footer, then all the following pages to different specific content. Right now, I am manually entering it in each section. I'm hoping there's a way to automate this; put it into the environment file for all sections. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP! [BUG] \registerexternalfigure doesn't work

Dear list, To get properties of a figure without actually typesetting it, it is handy to use \registerexternalfigure. However, trying to use it fails. Consider the following MWE: \starttext \registerexternalfigure[cow.pdf] \stoptext Looking at the definition in grph-inc.mkiv reveals that is it complete bogus. \unexpanded\def\registerexternalfigure {\dotripleempty\grph_include_register} \def\grph_include_register[#1][#2][#3]% {\startnointerference \c_grph_include_test_only \setfalse\c_grph_include_flush % == test ? \externalfigure[#1][#2][#3]% or \externalfigure[#1][#2,\c!display=,\c!mask=,\c!object=\v!no]% \stopnointerference} I guess this is not intentional and was left over at some point.
