mkii to mkiv - section numbering with minimal example

Further to my previous query about updating from mkii to mkiv, I have solved some of the issues by trial and error but am beginning to identify the ones I can't resolve. My first minimal example is below. I want the sections and subsections not to prefix the part and chapter numbering, giving me this output: Part 1 Chapter 1.1 Section 1 Subsection 1.1 The line that used to achieve this result was \setupsection[section-3][previousnumber=no] and there was also \setuphead[section][partnumber=no,chapternumber=no] but neither of these seems to work in mkiv Minimal example: \setupsection[section-3][previousnumber=no] \setuphead[section][partnumber=no,chapternumber=no] \starttext \part{Part} Part \chapter{Chapter} Chapter \section{Section} Section \subsection{Subsection} Subsection \stoptext Many thanks for any pointers. is it useful to use the option "--fonts=all" when running first-setup-sh?

As the subject says. I've been experimenting with having a by-project context folder, so I can have a "frozen" version for each project. I see there's an option to install more fonts (including utopia, useful for a project I'm working on). However, I have no idea how to use these fonts. Are they available in mkiv? only for mkii? Do we have typescripts for those fonts? If so, how are they called? Are those fonts actually usable or are they just remains from a past era? Thank you for your time. How to get a minimal context installation

Hi, the homepage says that the included fonts increase the installation to 200mb while the macros themselves are rather small. Is there a way to install only what is absolutely necessary? I'll be using system fonts anyway... Best, Denis

Wrong breaks in footnote for column texts

Hi Hans, as mentioned a few times by others long footnote entries have problems with line breaks. Tagged blocks

Dear list members, I would like to add a tag to a block so I can easily select a few blocks and print them in another chapter. In the below MWE I would like to print the normal (non-tagged) block in the first chapter. The second block with the tag [exam] should not be processed in the first chapter and only appear in the second chapter. According to the wiki and reference manual it should be possible using either \useblocks or \selectblocks but I can't get it to work. Who can help me out? XML Export: Suppressing Presentation Forms in Arabic Script Fonts

Dear gang, Just documented the following in the wiki: https://wiki.contextgarden.net/Export#Suppressing_Presentation_Forms_in_Ara… For those who use certain commercial Arabic-script fonts with XML export: In the course of ConTeXt processing, many standard codepoints from the U+600 block are substituted with those from a subset of Presentation Forms B, which breaks the input in critical ways. newlines in return Lua string

From \ctxlua{tex.print(hvdm.myluacall("\xmlatt{#1}{argument}"))} Lua returns a string containing newline characters '\n'. In ConTeXt this returned string is printed as one line, the embedded newlines are not honoured. I thought to replace with \crlf in this manner: string1 .. "\\crlf" .. string2 but the returned \crlf are not executed as such. How to force \crlf's in the executed return? dr. Hans van der Meer
