Hi, is \abovedisplayshortskip inserted in formulas that come after short lines? Or is there a more ConTeXt-way to tune this? Small example file below, but I see no change after I set it, so I guess it is not used? /Mikael \starttext Foo \startformula 1+1=2 \stopformula \abovedisplayshortskip = -12pt Foo \startformula 1+1=2 \stopformula \stoptext

optional hyphenation patterns in ancient Greek

Dear list (especially Thomas and Arthur), I opened a request for optional hyphenation patterns at GitHub (https://github.com/hyphenation/tex-hyphen/issues/34) I’m not advocating changing the default, but only providing hyphenation patterns that allow hyphenating consonant pairs that cannot be at the word beginning. Manipulating the pagenumber in the TOC

Hi all, "when manipulating in one area you will have to manipulate also in other aeras” I must confess. I asked some time ago about manipulating the pagenumber. Wolfgang provide me the following approach: \cldcontext{“\letterpercent.0f”,(\pagenumber+1)/2} This works indeed fine. However now I am confronted with the fact, that in the TOC the manipulated pagenumbers should be taken into account. Wolfgang’s approach does not help and ends in an error: \define[1]\SectionTOCPagenumber{ \cldcontext{“\letterpercent.0f”,(\pagenumber+1)/2}} \setuplist [section] [pagecommand=\SectionTOCPagenumber] My question is: is there a way to manipulate the pagenumber in the TOC such, that it reflects the pagenumbers in the document? I'm trying to use with Context makecirc a metapost library to draw electric circuits, but I have problems with the labels of the circuits element that are not displayed correctly. Left frame on a block of text

Hi, I'm trying to create a style with a left border in the margin. I want the border to start and stop with the text. Isn't the name ConTeXt a bit search-engine unfriendly?

Hi, ConTeXt is great but the pun of the name could cause unnecessary annoyance for newbies like me who need to google it a lot. Not sure if this is the right place to ask but is it possible to rename it to, like, ConTeX, in the future? Cheers, Exp

Font expansion breaks interword spacing
