Head sections automatically marked for conditional text

The short version: I'd like to set up a context document with multiple user-defined heads, such that they can be conditionally compiled and/or altered. It seems that modes are what I want, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to automatically set up a particular section to be wrapped in a particular mode (if that makes any sense at all). Is this possible? The long version: What I think I want is something like: --- begin foo.tex --- \startenvironment foo \definemode[showexamples][keep] % Can I add some magic here in the following setup to automagically % wrap these sections with commands to start and stop a particular mode? \definehead[example][subject][style=\bfc] --- end foo.tex --- --- begin bar.tex --- \environment foo \enablemode[showexamples] \starttext \startexample[title={I'd like to be able to use modes to enable or disable this section}] I'd like to have a mode to conditionally show all of the {\tt example} sections (without affecting other content, etc.). \stopexample \stoptext --- end bar.tex --- The added difficulty here is that I need three kinds of modes (A, B, And C) with the need to support changing the layout, etc. based on what modes are enabled. I've gotten this to work by including \startmode[example] and \stopmode commands in the document, but I'd love to find a way to have this happen automatically by some clever setups for user defined heads, as above. (I tried playing around with before= and after=, with disastrous results...) I've worked through the discussion about using blocks against enumerations, found here: http://www.mail-archive.com/ntg-context@ntg.nl/msg83818.html ...but I'm hoping that there's a simpler solution (without the external file, etc.) Is there a way to do this within the current framework, or should I be wrapping all of this in new commands? Formulas and pagebreaks

Dear list, Motivated by this question on TeX.SX (https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/388963) I found that formulas do not honour the samepage option in spacebefore. I could track the issue down to the \strc_math_obey_depth macro where a vertical kern is inserted which apparently introduces a good breakpoint. MWE is below, the line is marked with an ASCII arrow. Please fix. How to put a circle on top of a character

Hi, How can I put a small circle on top of a character in math mode (for the curious this is needed when one defines the interior of a set…). I tried the following, but the small circle is too far away from the character A. I am sure I had an ugly solution for this in plain TeX some years ago but I woul dlike to have an elegant solution in ConTeXt. %%% begin interior-of-a-set.tex \showgrid \starttext \mathtriplet{A}{\circ}{} \startformula \mathtriplet{A}{\circ}{} \stopformula \stoptext %%% end interior-of-a-set.tex Thanks for your help: OK

Error with tagging and lohi alignment in table

Hi, The following MWE now yields an error: \setuptagging[state=start] \starttext \bTABLE \setupTABLE[c][1][align=lohi] \bTR \bTD test \eTD \eTR \eTABLE \stoptext I'm afraid but this may be a bug. Many thanks in advance for all your effort. Cheers, Christoph

lines in \setuptyping

Dear list, I have the following sample: \setuptyping[TEX][lines=yes] \starttext \startTEX code one line before two lines before three lines before \stopTEX \stoptext I thought the lines key should display multiple lines when they are in the code. Possible error in page-lay.mkiv

In page-lay.mkvi I see, at lines 1591–1594: \definepapersize [doubleoversized] [ \c!width=\dimexpr \paperheight+\layouttargetparameter\c!distance\relax, \c!height=\dimexpr2\paperwidth +\layouttargetparameter\c!distance\relax] I would expect to see: \definepapersize [doubleoversized] [ \c!width=\dimexpr \paperwidth +\layouttargetparameter\c!distance\relax, \c!height=\dimexpr2\paperheight+\layouttargetparameter\c!distance\relax] -- Rik

Currency - space delimiting thousands

Hello, is there a built-in (Lua-?)numeric format to produce big numbers with spaces delimiting thousands (widely used for currencies)? Scite module and escape does not work anymore

Hi, I noticed that the scite module (m-scite.mkiv) has undergone some changes recently. When using this module to highlight source code, then the escape mechanism does not seem to work anymore.
