framedtable frame

Hi all, I am hitting a slight imperfection in the new framedtable mechanism. Example included; question: is it possible to have the same behavior in cell frames as in the natural table in the third part of my example? change width of a character with fonts.handlers.otf.addfeature

In extensions-001.tex (http://minimals.metatex.org/current/context/test/doc/context/tests/mkiv/fon…) there is an example how to add or change the kern between two chars: fonts.handlers.otf.addfeature { name = "ktest", type = "kern", data = { a = { b = -500 }, } } Can this be used to implement also a "Single adjustment positioning" which would effectivly change the width of character? (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/opentype/afdko/topic_feature_file_syntax.html#6…) (I tried a few probable variants but got either errors or no effect at all). -- Ulrike Fischer http://www.troubleshooting-tex.de/

\doifmode error with question blocks

Dear list members If using modes to show or hide certain part of the text. In the MWE below the part between the startmode[test] .. stopmode works jus fine. When using the \doifmode construction an error is produced on the position of the closing curly bracket. I prefer to use \doifmode constructions because they can be nested. The question block must play a role here but I don’t know why. Am I overlooking something here? Dear, I am sorry to bring up \overline, \overbar, and \bar issue. Here is a sample file and I attached two pdf files which were compiled using two different version of ConTeXt. Under the LuaTeX v. 1.03, ConTeXt ver: 2017.03.02 22:23 MKIV beta, the output overlineB.pdf is OK, but under the LuaTeX v. 1.04, ConTeXt ver: 2017.05.14 19:09 MKIV beta, the output overlineA.pdf is strange. Would you please check what is the problem? Thank you. (re)defining command with options

While visualising index-entires in the margin using \version[temporary] isn't implemented for MkIV yet, I'd like to define a basic stand-in in the meantime: \setupmargindata[inmargin][location=outer, style=itxx] \define[1]\myindex{\index{#1}% \inmargin{#1}% } But occurrences of e.g. \myindex[CONTEXT]{\ConTeXt} break these simple definitions. Is there an easy way to define commands with options and/or patching (extending) existing commands? Thanks in advance! Spurious vertical space above figure

Dear list, Motivated by this question on TeX.SX https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/370292 I found out that in a full-page figure there is a spurious vertical space of .5\baselineskip above the figure. I was not able to find out where it comes from. Is this by design? MWE is below. Colored rule using MPgraphic

Dear list members, I’m trying to make certain text standout from the surrounding text by adding a colored rule to the side. See below MWE. The colored rule is not shown over the area where the picture is displaced. Does anybody know how can I fix this? bug with en and em dashes

Dear list, using latest beta from 2017.05.09 10:14 with the following sample: \starttext \startTEXpage[offset=1em] -- --- – — \stopTEXpage \stoptext I get as result: -- ---- -- ---- Ligatures aren’t converted and even real en and em dashes are converted to hyphens. problem with align in natural tables

I am having trouble centering a table: \setupTABLE[align=middle] %flushright] \bTABLE \bTR\bTD Sun \eTD\bTD Aries\eTD\eTR \eTABLE produces a table that is flush left with ConTeXt ver: 2017.05.12. align=middle used to be sufficient. So what has changed or what have I missed? Alan
