Module for Markdown: any volunteer to make a ConTeXt interface?

Hi, There's a really nice module for processing markdown: https://github.com/Witiko/markdown that has been presented during the TUG meeting and is included in TeX Live. It theoretically works for ConTeXt (the output is perfectly usable), but it needs a cleanup of the user interface to turn the options on and off. For example, it would be nice to use something like \setupmarkdown [fencedCode=true] rather than \def\markdownOptionFencedCode{true} Is anyone willing to look into the code and help the author fix the interface? (I can add it to our distribution if needed.) Mojca

Repeating Headers for Tabulate not Working

Though this issue has appeared periodically over the years, this minimal example still does not work. Compiled with ConTeXt version: 2017.12.20 10:48. Any suggestions? where is latest vim-context?

Hello, I've decided to use ConTeXt instead of LyX/LaTeX and at the same time moved (back) to (n)vim from Emacs and wonder if https://github.com/adityam/vim-context does contain latest vim support for ConTeXt? Sincerely, Gour -- He who is satisfied with gain which comes of its own accord, who is free from duality and does not envy, who is steady in both success and failure, is never entangled, although performing actions.

Spacing issue of xtable with itemize

Hi guys, I found a pretty annoying behaviour of xtable spacing (in my case when using an itemization inside the table). I hope you guys can help me out. MWE is: \starttext \startxtable[frame=on] \startxrow \startxcell[width=3cm] \startitemize[packed] \startitem here a short line \stopitem \stopitemize \stopxcell \stopxrow \startxrow \startxcell \startitemize[packed] \startitem here filled with some words to force a rather long line \stopitem \stopitemize \stopxcell \stopxrow \stopxtable \stoptext To this mail I also attached a picture of my PDF output, that I edited slightly to make my point clear. Have a look at the spacing between content and bottomframe in the second row of each table please... Is there any way to change this? Cheers and thanks in advance, Lars

Question to Lua and Postgres (and ConTeXt)

Hi all, I installed the module (I'm at CentOS 6.6) by yum install luasql-postgres, ok. Then I used: lua myscript.lua /usr/bin/lua myscript.lua /usr/local/bin/lua myscript.lua I discovered that it is version dependent: lua (=/usr/local/bin/lua) does not operate, it is 5.3, whereas /usr/bin/lua works ok, it is 5.1. At the command line, it is not a problem to choose another lua interpreter than the default one is. But if I use the same lua script within the ConTeXt, I came across the same problem because the default version in ConTeXt is 5.2. First, I thought about the way how to change version of lua inside the current version of ConTeXt (is it possible?) but the same behaviour appeared when I tryed older versions (TL 2010, 2011, 2012) containing lua v5.1 by the default. It seems that file postgres.so which is the main important is not visible for ConTeXt. Neither package.path = '/usr/lib/lua/5.1/luasql;', not copying the postgres.so to the current directory did not help. I have any clue how to fix it. Have you any ideas? Dear list, Motivated by https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/406892 I wanted to disable page breaks for parts. This works on all pages, except the first page of a document. Why? MWE is below as always. Reproducible with TL 2017 and latest beta. issue with css selector in lpath

Dear list, I have the following code: \xmlsetsetup{\xmldocument} {{header, #header}} {xml:titlepage} I guess this is right, but I get the following compilation error: tex error > tex error on line 303 in file pandoc-xhtml.tex: ! Illegal parameter number in definition of \14>:xml:pandoc <to be read again> h <argument> ...en:h1}\xmlsetsetup {\xmldocument }{{header, ##h eader}}{xml:titlepage}\xml... \syst_setups_start_xml_indeed ...1\expandafter {#3 } l.303 \stopxmlsetups If I replace the code above with the following one, everything compiles fine: \xmlsetsetup{\xmldocument} {{header, [id="header"]}} {xml:titlepage} Am I missing something, or what am I doing wrong here?
