Troubleshooting pdf bookmarks

Hello all, I've got a problem with pdf bookmarks and I don't know how to troubleshoot it. I first made a test file in a test folder with all the correct components and it ("bookmark_test") works perfectly with all the enviroment files and component files. However, when I copied the working product file to the product folder ("prd-serv"), fixed the links and ran ConTeXt, I didn't get bookmarks. Reference links show up in TOC and text, so there's some kind of interactivity, but no bookmarks. I've tried to figure out from logs (attached) what eats my bookmarks in the product folder, but without much success. I've also tried excluding components and environment files in different combinations, but that doesn't seem to help, so I haven't been able to isolate the cause of the problem. Are there some commands that can be used to troubleshoot interactivity/pdf bookmarks? \tracesomething, maybe? Best Regards, Mari

Another question to structured trees for linguistics

Hi everybody! I have another question to this thread: if I need a structured tree for lingustics, i mean a structured tree with senteces, can I use also mp-trees? I ask, because at Ctan I found a package called "qtrees". So in this package ist called \Tree and then there comes the following: [.S This [.VP [.V is ]\roof{a simple tree}.NP ] ] for example . Or how would I write it in metapost? Can somebody help me? Uschi

compiling the mkiv-publications manual

Hello list, I'm trying to compile the mkiv-publications manual from the ConTeXt distribution. Running context mkiv-publications stops with the error: ... tex error > tex error on line 58 in file publications- database.tex: ! Undefined control sequence l.58 \startBTX ... 55 56 A \BIBTEX\ file entry looks like this: 57 58 >> \startBTX 59 @Article {sometag, 60 author = "An Author and Another One", 61 title = "A hopefully meaningful title", 62 journal = maps, ... maybe I need to specify some options in the command line, to make ConTeXt aware of the \startBTX macro. A decade or so ago I read about a program callable from within Context that would create flowcharts etc. Was this Metapost? Or was it a different program? John Culleton

Stixtwo spacing between upright integrals and lower limits

Dear Hans (and others), In the tex stackexchange chat today we were discussing the stix two fonts, and in particular the spacing between the integral sign and the lower bound. It is known that this was way to big before (see https://tex.stackexchange.com/q/327710/52406) but it seems that it is still too big, at least if one uses the upright version. Judge yourself from the example file at the end of this email (result attached). I made a bug report (see https://sourceforge.net/p/stixfonts/tracking/95/) but Ulrike Fischer said that it could take time to get it fixed, and that you Hans made a fix for another bug ( https://sourceforge.net/p/stixfonts/tracking/86/) in the fontloader. Can you do that for this one as well? During the discussion Harald Hanche-Olsen came up with the following "quick fix" for LuaLaTeX: \usepackage{luatexbase,luacode} \begin{luacode} local patch_stixmath = function (fontdata) if fontdata.psname == "STIXTwoMath" then fontdata.characters[983352]["italic"]=3*fontdata.characters[983352]["italic"] end end luatexbase.add_to_callback ( "luaotfload.patch_font", patch_stixmath, "change_stixmath" ) \end{luacode} I don't know if this is the way to go, but I thought I should include it. sql / swiglib doesnt find lib

Hello, I'm experimenting with the SQL interface in context. My testfile compiles with: utilities.sql.setmethod("client"), but I don't manage to setup the swiglib method. Following the instruction described in swiglib-mkiv.pdf, I compiled the mysql library for osx, and put it into: context/tex/texmf-osx-64/bin/lib/luatex/lua/swiglib/mysql/core.dylib But I get this error: swiglib > unknown: 'swiglib.mysql.core' my texmf.cnf has the line CLUAINPUTS = .;$SELFAUTOLOC/lib/{$progname,$engine,}/lua// Thanks!
