mathmatrix and grid: followup

Dear list, some time ago I asked about the interplay of mathmatix with grid typesetting: https://mailman.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2016/087018.html I noticed that when the grid is enabled, the height of a mathmatrix is rounded down which leaves less space above than below. In my opinion either the height should be rounded up or the depth rounded down here. In the original thread Wolfgang proposed using \setupformula[grid=tolerant] and adding a blank line before the formula (otherwise grid=tolerant is applied to the paragraph before). This workaround leads to the depth being rounded down in the example below which produces a more balanced output. Could this somehow be made the default behaviour or something? Currently it requires the user to notice that vertical spacing is off and correct it manually, including adding a blank line before the formula to prevent grid=tolerant being applied to the paragraph. align text and formula

Dear list, I would like to include text on the same line as a formula. The text needs to be left-aligned and the formula needs to be mid-aligned (as per normal). I’ve tried various solutions from the mathalign MyWay but have not succeeded to get the desired result sofar. Below a M-Not-WE. Clearly, the formula is not positioned correctly yet. Who can help me out? Using key as numbering in \placepublications

Hi, I'm writing my thesis using ConTeXt but I'm not satisfied with the way the publication list is displayed. I'd like to display the key, in brackets, in front of every publication in the list (i.e. replace the [2] numbering in front of it by [Sha07] for example). The numbering option only offers yes, no, short and bib. I'd like a "key" option. How can I achieve that? Any clue, example and/or suggestion is welcome, Thanks in advance, Antoine

Back on grid after displayed math

Hi! Im curious how to get back to the grid after a displayed formula? I try \setuplayout[grid=yes] \showgrid \setupformulas[align=middle] \starttext \input knuth \startformula a^2+b^2=c^2 \stopformula \input knuth \stoptext (where the \setupformulas[align=middle] was suggested in a comment at http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/254815/grid-on-aligned-equations-in-… , but that makes no difference) but that does not work (result attached). Would it be easier if there were also an option saying how many lines the equation should take? Say, \startformula[lines=3] a^2+b^2=c^2 \stopformula and then centering the formula (or having options for that) vertically over the three lines? Maybe that is a not a good idea for some reason... /Mikael

Dear list, I have the following sample: \setupwhitespace[5em] \startsetups[smallwspa] \setupwhitespace[small] \setupblank[small] \stopsetups \setupitemize[each][indenting=no, setups=smallwspa] \starttext \input knuth \startitemize \dorecurse{5}{\item this is my item\par second paragraph\par third paragraph } \stopitemize \stoptext I’m trying to get a \blank[small] separation for paragraphs inside items and a \blank[medium] separation between items. I’m afraid that neither the after, inbetween and setups keys are working? How could I get these different separations for items and for paragraphs inside them? Overlays and layers documentation?

Hello ConTeXist. Is there any documentation or manual, where I could read some details about using of overlays and layers in ConTeXt? I see on the Internet and wiki ConTeXtgarden some examples, but I would be interested in details relating to the default layers and their names, their order. "fake" space for better reflow

If I compile a small document \starttext \input knuth \stoptext and then use in the adobe reader "view->zoom->reflow" I get as result Thus,Icametotheconclusionthatthedesignerofanewsystemmustnotonlybetheimplementerandfirstlarge--scaleuser;thedesignershoulda I know it is due to the missing space glyph. With pdflatex I would try to use \pdfinterwordspaceon but this primitive never found its way into luatex. Is there any solution? question about \startitemize...\stopitemize (again)

Dear list, sorry for asking this question again, but I’m afraid I really need to solve this as soon as possible. I have the following sample: \setupwhitespace[5em] \startsetups[smallwspa] \setupwhitespace[small] \setupblank[small] \stopsetups \setupitemize[each][indenting=no, setups=smallwspa] \starttext \input knuth \startitemize \dorecurse{5}{\item this is my item\par second paragraph\par third paragraph } \stopitemize \stoptext I need a bigger whitespace outside the list that inside them. I need \blank[medium] between each item and \blank[small] for each \par inside the item. setups doesn’t work for paragraphs inside list items and inbetween doesn’t work either. Which is the right way to setup space between ennumeration items and also different for paragraphs inside those items? Many thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk
