align text and formula

Dear list, I would like to include text on the same line as a formula. The text needs to be left-aligned and the formula needs to be mid-aligned (as per normal). I’ve tried various solutions from the mathalign MyWay but have not succeeded to get the desired result sofar. Below a M-Not-WE. Clearly, the formula is not positioned correctly yet. Who can help me out? Back on grid after displayed math

Hi! Im curious how to get back to the grid after a displayed formula? I try \setuplayout[grid=yes] \showgrid \setupformulas[align=middle] \starttext \input knuth \startformula a^2+b^2=c^2 \stopformula \input knuth \stoptext (where the \setupformulas[align=middle] was suggested in a comment at http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/254815/grid-on-aligned-equations-in-… , but that makes no difference) but that does not work (result attached). Would it be easier if there were also an option saying how many lines the equation should take? Say, \startformula[lines=3] a^2+b^2=c^2 \stopformula and then centering the formula (or having options for that) vertically over the three lines? Maybe that is a not a good idea for some reason... /Mikael

Influence enumeration spacing

Dear list members, In the MWE below the amount of vertical space between the enumeration header and the question text seems to fully controlled by the global \setupwhitespace[big] setting. I would like to reduce the distance beteen the enumeration header and the question text but inbetween={\blank[nowhite]} seems to be ignored. I tried none, disable etc. as well. Of course I could set \setupwhitespace[small] but this would influence the amount whitespace between my paragraph text which should be set to big. In the pdf result \rm math font is Tex Gyre Adventor and \ss math is Tex Gyre Pagella. How can I have context to print math \rm with Tex Gyre Pagella serif, and math \ss with Tex Gyre Adventor font? Use \unit for value and uncertainty

Dear list Is it possible to use the units module (in MKIV) for value plusminus uncertainty in a way similar to the \SI command in LaTeX, like \unit{(1.59\pm2)e-19 coulomb} or \unit{1.59(2)e-19 coulomb}? Thanks and best regards, Florian

ConTeXt and duotone graphics

Hello list, I have just came across this little script which allows to create duotone pdfs with DeviceN channel. The script takes two grayscale tifs as arguments and returns a pdf duotone. I guess it shouldn't be too difficult to include it in the ConTeXt processing chain. Probably one could include a command in a source file which would reference both files used for creation of a duotone image and the resulting image would be used in the final pdf. Emacs24 + AucTeX + ConTeXt

Hello, I just upgraded to emacs24 and am having problems compiling my files who compiled perfectly with emacs23. I installed AUCTeX with M-x-install package and that's it ! I deleted my old init.el file and start over ! texexec in ConTeXt Standalone does not work

Dear list members, I am new to ConTeXt world. I have installed ConTeXt Standalone according to the instructions given in ConTeXt Standalone with TexWorks <http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Windows_Installation#ConTeXt_Standalone_with_…> and instructions given in Windows Installation <http://wiki.contextgarden.net/ConTeXt_Standalone#Windows>. I added the address of context.exe into the Processing Tools of TeXworks, according to instruction # 6 in ConTeXt Standalone with TexWorks <http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Windows_Installation#ConTeXt_Standalone_with_…> and compiled a simple ConTeXt document, it works fine. But I want to use texexec (MkII), I had installed Ruby according to the instruction 1. I added address of texexec.exe to the Processing Tools of TeXworks; but when I try to compile the simple document, it does not work and gives the following warning and stops without giving any output pdf file: > warning: c:/Users/bsee1206/Desktop/ConTeXt/tex/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf:49: > (kpathsea) No cnf value on line: OSFONTDIR =. > Any suggestions?
