Thank you, Wolfgang, I changed 'special' into another word and replaced 'incrementnumber=yes' by 'incrementnumber=list'. But the result does still not reach my second goal: my exercise numbers are still 1 and 1 instead of having chapter number prefixes (1.1 and 2.1). Reconciling unicode-math with LaTeX2e mathematics

Is there a plan to have in ConTeXt the same kind of math behavior that Will Robertson implemented in the last version of his unicode-math LaTeX package (\mathrm, \mathit, \mathbf, \symrm, \symit, \symbf, etc.)? Dear list,   In the following minimal example I would like to have:  - the headings of \special in the toc, unnumbered  - in the text, the numbers of the exercises preceded by the chapter number  The first goal is achieved when uncommenting the two options under \setuphead,  the latter is achieved when uncommenting only the second option. meaning of error message?

I have been experimenting with tagging. But my attempts with two files now have generated this sort of error message: lua error > lua error on line 62 in file c_Int-A002_Acerbi.tex: .../ConTeXt/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/strc-tag.lua:407: bad argument #2 to 'lpegmatch' (string expected, got boolean) stack traceback: [C]: in function 'lpegmatch' .../ConTeXt/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/strc-tag.lua:407: in function 'strippedtag' .../ConTeXt/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/back-exp.lua:740: in function <.../ConTeXt/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/back-exp.lua:739> (...tail calls...) Could someone tell me what this means—is there are error in my encoding or a problem in lua? Alan

Smaller bullet points

Hi, I'm defining a slightly smaller bullet point symbol: \definesymbol[smallbullet][\small\bullet] \setupitemize[1][smallbullet] This aligns the smaller bullet point to the baseline of text, which is too low. I'd like to have it vertically centered, such that it aligns in the middle of where the regular-sized \bullet would be. I tried using \inframed[height=\lineheight], but I couldn't find a way to make that end up in the right place. Any suggestions please? Thanks, -- Kate

Hi Hans, everybody there’s a bug report concerning one of the Noto fonts: https://github.com/lualatex/luaotfload/issues/292 Fonts are freely available: https://www.google.com/get/noto/ Quick link to the example translated to Context: https://bitbucket.org/phg/lua-la-tex-tests/src/tip/context/cnt-urdu.tex Those features are what’s applied by Luaotfload by default for Arabic. I would like to be able to go directly to a local document by an interaction statement. The \goto command seems to be meant for this. However, the descriptions in the command reference and the Wiki do not explain all of its parameters: In \goto{1}{2}[3] parameters 1 and 2 are marked CONTEXT and 3 is marked REFERENCE. I could find parameter {1} typeset in the text and [3] as the reference in for example a \placefigure. What is {2} supposed to do? \goto{}Something}[] does not places Something to find. I tried to effect the jump to a document on my system with \goto{local-doc}[/Volumes/Users/myhome/Documents/myfigure.jpg] but this does not works as I hoped. How to? Hans van der Meer

inverse indentation

Dear list, I have the following sample: \setupindenting[always,yes,big] \startsetups[bibliography:indent] \setupindenting[negative] \stopsetups \definehead[Bibliography][subject] \setuphead[Bibliography] [setups=bibliography:indent, indentnext=yes] \starttext \startBibliography[reference=ref,title=Bibliography] \reference[ref-Frankfurt:1971fk]{}% Frankfurt, Harry. 1971. “Freedom of the Will and the Concept of a Person.” {\em Journal of Philosophy}. \stopBibliography \stoptext How can I define indenting in startsetups so that Bibliography has the same margin that the indentation for the rest of the text and indentation in that section is negative (the same amount as the general indentation)? Sorry, but this is a standard practice that doesn’t seem to be documented in the wiki. At least, I wasn’t able to find information about this issue. place figure at the top left corner of the header

Hello list, I need to place a figure with its topleft corner on the topleft corner of the header. The figure would be large as the textframe and covering all the header and part of the textframe, leaving the text flow below the figure. In other words, a normal figure \textwidth large, but starting out of the textframe, at the header top, as if the textframe had the same topleft corner of the header. Which is the best way to obtain it? Do I need a custom page makeup, a layer or simply configuring \placefigure? Thank you, Massi

Allow widows/orphans at column breaks only

Dear all, I use the usual \clubpenalty10000 \widowpenalty10000 commands to avoid orphans and widows, this works all fine, but I wondered if it was possible to avoid them only on page break but allow them at column breaks (probably not every one would think that’s nice to have those between columns). I use columnset. Could not find anything on such feature. Thanks Best regards Joseph
