Latin Modern and optical sizes in math

Dear list, is it possible to get the correct optical sizes of Latin Modern (or another math font) in formulae? I'm using the Selectfont mechanism. In the following example, the superscripts simply use the regular font. \definefontfamily [lm] [math] [Latin Modern Math] \setupbodyfont [lm] \starttext \math{k^{k^{k}}} \stoptext Kind regards, Joshua

Dear Flavien, This version works — note “dataset=document” and the “document::” in the citation. The clue is in the log: publications > cite > non-existent entry 'batty' in '' publications > no field 'num' for tag 'batty' in dataset ‘' The second big “1” is because \completebtxrendering has an implicit \chapter, but seemingly no default title. Stop Hyphenating Across Columns and Page Breaks

Hello, this is still open, maybe its not clear, what the problem ist. I'll try again, my not realistic minexample is this one: \starttext \dorecurse{200}{Aprikosengeschmacksrichtung } \stoptext But what I mean is a feature, which many other typographic programms have, e.g. Adobe Indesign, see here: http://indesignsecrets.com/stop-hyphenating-across-columns-and-page-breaks.… Hyphenation across pages is really ugly and uncomfortable to read, how would you prevent them? Height fitting cell contents while using row spanning in other columns of a table

How can I stretch the height of the x cell (in my example) to fit the x cell content? textbackground inside itemize

The following code produces a textbackground whose background color enters into the "itemize label" area on the second (and succeeding) lines of the paragraph. I would appreciate advice on fixing this. Hello, I'm sorry this probably is a dumb question but I'm really lost in my searches. I'm new to context/tex and have been learning/finding information in the wiki at the contextgarden.net for the past couple of weeks. Some of information there don't seem up to date but nothing unusual in an unofficial wiki. For some reason (isp/dns/something) the contextgarden.net has been unavailiable to me since yesterday even though some verification sites show it up and some show it down (http://www.isitdownrightnow.com been one of the later). That got me wondering if there are easy official docs. I've seen the pdfs at pragma-ade.com but the most general ones I tried are from 1999 (ms-cb-en.pdf) and 2001 (cont-eni.pdf). Are these up to date with the current developments? I belive they are compatible but having seen examples of changes in the wiki I a little unsure. Furthermore, the parameter behavior description in the command reference seem a bit... dry. So here's my plea for a little bit more love for the documentation. In any way, thank you very much for an awesome language, I'm glad I researched thoroughly before jumping into latex. YT

Bug in \setupinterlinespace ?

Does anybody know how to change the interline space in a part of a document? I send again the message below: Hi all, I don’t know how to change the interline space in a chapter. In principle I thought that if at some point I have used for some reason \setupinterlinespace[4.0ex] then saying \setupinterlinespace[reset,small] would reset the interline space to its default value, but this is not the case. underbraces get progressively more misaligned (w/ minimal example)

Dear list, As I copyedited my book, I noticed examples where the underbraces in math formulas were not aligned vertically, especially toward the end of the book. Eventually I realized it was not due to my growing copyediting skill, and I have made the following minimal example showing the problem (I am using 2014.05.17 MkIV): \setupformulas[indentnext=auto, spacebefore=none, spaceafter=none] \starttext \dorecurse{3000}{ \placeformula\startformula \underbrace{\hbox{yyyy}}_{\rho} = \underbrace{\hbox{yyyy yyyy yyyy}}_{\rho} \stopformula } \stoptext It'll produce a 162-page file. On the formulas on page 1, the two underbraces in each equation are aligned. But there seems to be some kind of slow leak, because the underbraces become ever more misaligned. By page 162, they are visibly misaligned by maybe 3pt. If I increase the recursion count to 30000, on page 2129 the misalignment is about 30pt. Taking out the \placeformula makes the misalignment go away. I tried to reproduce the problem with plain LuaTeX, using the tex file below, but the underbraces came out aligned. \newcount\foo \foo=3000 \loop $$ \underbrace{\hbox{yyyy}}_{\rho} = \underbrace{\hbox{yyyy yyyy yyyy}}_{\rho} $$ \advance \foo -1 \ifnum \foo>0 \repeat \end Any thoughts on this very strange issue? -Sanjoy
