Hello, I tried to use some steps in a presentation. In the following conversation http://www.mail-archive.com/ntg-context@ntg.nl/msg53524.html, Wolfgang says that we can use the pre-60 module. Is there is something like a bugtracker for conteXt, in order to signal when a feature is not working or outdated and signal when it is back (or definitly depreciate)? (it would be a complementary tool for the mailing list)

Setting structureuservariable

Hello all, I've discovered the magic of structureuservariabl and have therefore converted all my headings to use the start/stop syntax. It's raised a few quick questions though: 1. Is \startchapter \stopchapter etc the "proper way" to do things from now on? Or is it really just up to the user? 2. Is there a way to provide a default value for a structureuservariable? I'd like to set a reference number based on a global counter if the user doesn't supply their own. 3. In a similar vein - is it possible to define a reference for a section if the user doesn't provide one. E.g. if they provide \startchapter[title=My Example Chapter] instead of: \startchapter[chap:examplechapter][title=My Example Chapter] can I set the reference for them? (I will have some sections that could be usefully auto-referenced). Many thanks in advance, Felix

Find all words set into the margin

I use \definefontfeature[default][default][expansion=quality,protrusion=quality] \setupalign[hz,hanging] \usetypescript[times] \setupbodyfont[times,11pt] \setuptolerance[verystrict] Is there a command or a macro to find all occurences in a file (or projekt), where some word is printed into the margin? (Maybe because of bad hyphenation or something else.) - Would be perfect for manual check-up and corrections! Thanks. Huseyin

2013.03.21 broken nightly?

Hey list, The last few nightlies, including the most recent one I have installed, 2013.03.21, keeps bailing when attempting to typeset one of my documents with the same error: ! You want to edit file /usr/share/texmf/tex/context/third/simplefonts/t-simplefonts.mkvi at line 256 mkiv lua stats > used config file: /usr/share/texmf/web2c/texmfcnf.lua ! Vertically Aligning inmargin Text to Figure

Hi, I need to associate a bit of text with a figure in a book. The text is not---and cannot be---the figure caption (it's providing some explanation with respect to some labels in the figure). I have tried the following based on some other post on the mailing list: \definepapersize[eightsquare][width=8in, height=8in] \setuppapersize[eightsquare] \setuplayout[ location=doublesided, marking=on, backspace=43mm, leftmargin=18mm, leftmargindistance=4mm, rightmargin=35mm, rightmargindistance=4mm, rightedgewidth=6mm, topspace=12mm, header=15mm, footer=15mm, height=179mm, width=115mm ] \starttext \startplacefigure[location=force, title={First dummy caption}] \inmargin{First margin dummy} \externalfigure[dummy][width=115mm] \stopplacefigure \stoptext However, that results in the text being down the bottom of the figure. I need the text to be vertically aligned with the top of the figure. I have attached the resulting PDF for illustration purposes (is that okay on this mailing list? It's very small). \setupalign[flushleft] doesn't like ~

With \setupalign[flushleft], nonbreakable spaces get larger than they should. I'm afraid it's a bug. use plain LuaTeX in ConTeXt standalone

Hi, many context users are also luatex user, and the context standalone also contains luatex binary (windows). I input the 'luatex' in the cmd, but it can't work. The message is as follows: d:\>luatex luatex This is LuaTeX, Version beta-0.77.0-2013041621 (rev 4633) \write18 enabled. **\relax I can't find the format file `luatex.fmt'!kpathsea: Running mktexfmt luatex.fmtThe command name is D:\context\tex\texmf-mswin\bin\mktexfmt Since there is not mktexfmt in the context standalone, is that mean I can't use plain luatex in the context standalone?

latest beta and ancient greek module
