underbraces slightly too narrow (with MkIV 2013.05.28)

In certain cases, display-mathunderbraces are not quite wide enough. Here's a minimal example: =================== \starttext \placeformula\startformula \underbrace{15\,\tf cm}_{L} \stopformula \stoptext =================== Using 2013.05.28 00:36 MKIV (from vanilla TL2013), the left brace tip starts under the vertical bar of the "1", instead of enclosing the serif as well. The right brace tip ends between the last two tines of the "m", instead of enclosing the whole "m" and its serifs. With 2013.04.09 10:38 MKII, the brace tips extend just slightly beyond the "15 cm", which is better. However, they seem slightly too close. As a test, I ran the comparable plain-TeX file through LuaTeX and PDFTeX. ================== $$ \underbrace{15\,\rm cm}_{L} $$ \bye ================== The gap between the right brace tip and the text is slightly greater (with either LuaTeX or PDFTeX), and it looks right. (With the 2012.05.30 MKIV on live.contextgarden.net, the result is similar to the Lua/PDFTeX versions, though not identical, and also looks reasonable.) -Sanjoy

Setting `before` option of chapter breaks header text

If chapter titles are styled using the `before` option, the header texts on each first page of the documents (body|back|appendix)part are incorrect, because chapter name and number are empty. (Tested with ConTeXt version 2013.05.28 00:36 and 2013.09.03 10:22) Is this a bug? (If not, is there any other way to set `before` without breaking the headers?) context mkiv output options

Can MKIV ConTeXt output image files. I need to create an image file from a document and would prefer use Context to output it directly if possible and not have to convert a pdf file to an image file such as png or tiff. Is there a command line option for this. I looked at the outpuf from $ context --help , but cold find no answer there. It did not even mention the --pdf option, which does exist. Thanks

a way to implement \testcolumn in mixedcolumns

Hello, On this list I've been advised that mixedcolumns is the latest and greatest implementation of columns; the one to use. We have switched over from columnsets to mixedcolumns, and have been very pleased with the column balancing (for some reason we couldn't get column balancing to work in columnsets). However one thing we do miss from columnsets is the control over widows & orphans in two ways: \testcolumn, and \setupcolumnsetlines. \testcolumn[n] allowed us to do a conditional column break, so when we were about to start a new subsection heading, we could prevent it being an orphan at the bottom of the column; and when starting a paragraph with a hangaround graphic framed flushright and bottom, we could similarly use \testcolumn to prevent the graphic from hanging down into the footer (which is what sometimes happened otherwise). So I'm wondering, is there some way to achieve the equivalent of \testcolumn in mixedcolumns? Is it theoretically impossible to implement this in mixedcolumns because the required information (how many lines are left in the current column) is not yet known? Or could that information be gleaned from somewhere? It seems that there is a mixup in the backend code for including an attachment. For example, when I use: \setupinteraction[state=start] \starttext The current file is \attachment[tag][file=\jobname.tex, name=test.tex, title={Whatever}] \stoptext I was expecting that the current file will be attached as "test.tex" and title "Whatever. However, the title of the attached file is "tag". See the attached screenshot from Adobe Reader. It seems that in the back end, tag is written to the PDF file where title should have been written.
