Hi, How can I enable tabular numerals please? About Chapter head definition and FunnyFrame

Dear all, I have two questions. 1. But it produces an error which is … ! Argument of \Myheader has an extra }. system > tex > error on line 94 in file SumRule.tex … What is wrong in this code? 2. I used "funnyFrame" defined in the MetaFun book. It works fine except that it is left aligned. I'd like to put such a frame in the middle. But \startalignment[middle] didn't work. Q about hangaround commands

Hi. I'm trying to figure out the limitation of \start/stophangaround commands. 1. Is it correct that currently the figure could be placed only on left? If so is it easy to extend the command to allow placing figure at right side? 2. Is there way to increase/decrease the space between the text and image? 3. Is it correct that hangaround command is tricky hack that change normal flow? I prepare simple example (it is attached). 1) is obvious from the example (default behavior I assume). 3): I got the '2.' not on left side as 1) and 3) but on left side of text block right after image. Another example if 3): if I put empty line between \starthangaround and \input (see the file) then there would be mess. P.S. I tried the example with MkIV only. --- WBR, Vladimir Lomov

underbar/margin text

Hi, I have to typeset some underlined text with margin notes by its side. Is there a way to prevent the notes themself to get underlined? I tried putting the note-command in a group, simplifying its content etc. (In my real file I use \defineinmargin, btw.) \starttext \underbar{Test Test Test\footnote{footnote}~Test Test Test\par Test\inleft{marginal} Test Test Test Test Test \par} \stoptext (As one can see, there’s also an issue with the footnote-sign breaking the continued line, which is not urgent for me, at least by now.) Problem with ConTeXt (MkIV), Hebrew and ligatures

This is a problem originally posted in TeX/StackExchange. However, since I have not had any luck in finding a solution I post it here too. It now seems to combine Hebrew characters automatically when possible to ligatures. So for example. If I have a word with following two characters: U+05D5 (HEBREW LETTER VAV) U+05BC (HEBREW POINT DAGESH OR MAPIQ) ConTeXt will combine these to: U+FB35 (HEBREW LETTER VAV WITH DAGESH) However, I would need to disable this feature for a number of reasons. For example, this breaks my little database query, because the query key is changed before(?) macro gets it. So if somebody would know how to turn this off and maybe also that what has changed." Header-Footer-Layout

Hi, I would like to have a doublesided layout with: - a titlepage with neither header nor footer, - a frontpart with pagesnumbers(left/right) in roman - a bodypart with pagesnumbers(left/right) in arabic - an appendix with pagesnumbers(left/right) in arabic - first page of a chapter should not have a header + underline - next page header(CHAPTER #: chapter) underlined - next page header(section) underlined - if there is no section then only the line. - if the next page is empty than only the pagenumber should be printed. Seems to be a common layout and I apologize for asking. Thanks in advance for any help. xits font: some spacing and scaling problems

Hi there, Not quite sure if this is the right place. I wanted to send this directly to Khaled Hosny, but then I thought it might be good to have some additional opinion on some of these issues (I am not quite sure if some of this is intended behaviour). I have collected some examples for which I think there are some scaling and spacing problems in xits. Also, small caps are not supported. Is this intended?! Thanks for your help. My own module.

Where should I put a module if I have the following project strucutre? math-books/ math-books.tex environments/ layout.tex products/ book1.tex book1/ chapter1.tex chapter2.tex book2.tex book2/ chapter1.tex chapter2.tex I have a "my_module.lua" and a "my_module.tex". Where should I put those files? How do I configure my project to use my module? How do I call my own module from "book1/chapter1.tex", for example? Thank you, André Caldas.

counter reseting at every heading

Hi, few months ago (18th may) I asked about how to setup a counter that resets after each heading (chapter, section, subsection, subsubsection and so on. I got three possibilities then but none of them was implemented (and still is not): 1) \definecounter[ParagraphNumber][prefix=no,way={bychapter,bysection,bysubsection,bysubsubsection}] 2) \definecounter[ParagraphNumber][prefix=no,way=byheader] 3) \setuphead[chapter,section,subsection,subsubsection][after={\resetcounter[ParagraphNumber]}] as soon the spaces are defined over spaceafter instead of after. Is there a forth option out? Or can anyone tell me what the defaults spaces are so that I can copy them manually? Thanks P.
