The following does not seem to work with the latest MKIV version: \startcomponent \startitemize \item A \item B \item C \stopitemize \stopcomponent The log file shows: ! Use of \strc_itemgroups_item_alone doesn't match its definition. system > tex > error on line 5 in file SimpleTest.tex: Use of ... 1 \startcomponent 2 3 \startitemize 4 \item A 5 >> \item B 6 \item C 7 \stopitemize 8 9 \stopcomponent 10 11 l.5 \item B There is no problem if one uses \starttext…\stoptext (MKIV) or \startcomponent…\stopcomponent (MKII). Is this a bug or have I missed some crucial change in MKIV enumerations? Alan

table of content not set flushbottom

Hi Hans, due to the size of my project I cannot send a minimal: but did you remove the TOC's ability to vertically stretch? I did not change any of my styles/environment, and with version 2012.03.13 now the TOC is not set flushbottom anymore. Do I have to add/change something now? Or was that a side-effect that is fixed with a more recent version? Best, Steffen

Apostrophes not converting to typographical curly apostrophes

I'm having difficulty getting straight 0x0027 apostrophes to convert into typographical single-quotes when using a given typescript. In the following example, \quote{single quotes} generates curly typographical single quotes, but the apostrophe comes out as a straight apostrophe in the PDF output: \usetypescriptfile[type-lemonde] \usetypescript[lemonde-1] \setupbodyfont[lemonde,ss,11pt] \starttext Why don't the apostrophes show up as \quotation{curly}? The \quote{single quotes} and \quotation{double quotes} are fine\ldots{} \stoptext The only way I can generate curly apostrophes is by placing 0x2019 characters into the source. However, when I comment out those first three lines, the output displays a curly apostrophe fine in the default font. Section, number as a prefix of itemize list

Hello all, can somehow insert the chapter (section, subsection, ...) number as a prefix of itemize list? \setupnotation[number=no] for linenotes doesn't work in latest beta

Using beta from yesterday, I have discovered that \setupnotation[number=no] works fine for footnotes, but it doesn't work for linenotes. The sample that shows the issue is the following: \setupnotation[footnote][location=columns,number=no] \definelinenote[dict] \setupnotation[dict][number=no] \starttext \dorecurse{10}{a\footnote{b}\dict{c}} \stoptext Many thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk

\definepagebreak[header, footer] not working when changing matters

I have discovered that \definepagebreak[header,footer] doesn't right with chapters when changing from frontmatter to bodymatter (and similar divisions). Here you have a sample: \definepagebreak[firstpagebreak][yes,header,footer,right] \setuphead[chapter][page=firstpagebreak] \setuppagenumbering[alternative=doublesided,location={botton}] \starttext \startfrontmatter \dorecurse{4}{\chapter{front}} \stopfrontmatter \startbodymatter \dorecurse{4}{\chapter{body}} \stopbodymatter \startappendices \dorecurse{4}{\chapter{body}} \stopappendices \startbackmatter \dorecurse{4}{\chapter{body}} \stopbackmatter \stoptext Pages previous to chapters with no text should also lack header and footer, but in the example above this doesn't work when text divisions (such as front matter, body matter, appendices and back matter) change. Font goodies color schemes by Unicode number

Hi all, Was exploring font goodies and color schemes and so far works great, very nice feature, thanks Hans. Now I've to small questions/feature requests: Can color schemes be defined using Unicode code points, e.g.: { 0x064E, 0x064F } instead of glyph names (e.g. I'd like to have a font independent goody to color Arabic combining marks and no glyph substitution is involved so Unicode code points should work for most fonts). Second question, can it be (ab)used to color a whole font with the same color (can be handy sometimes), e.g. using a special wildcard or something: { "*" }. Regards, Khaled

xits fots

Hello, I am trying to compile the example provided by khaled hosny https://github.com/khaledhosny/xits-math/blob/master/test-suite/arabic.tex. However this is what I get fonts > virtual math > unable to resolve name mapsfromchar fonts > fallback modern rm 12pt is loaded system > begin file arabic.tex at line 5 Missing character: There is no ف (U+0641) in font lmroman12-regular! I have the latest version of livtex. When I run mtxrun --script fonts --list --all --pattern=xits xits xitsbolditalic xits-bolditalic.otf which is strange because the font xits-math is not listed I have noticed that xits is already installed with livtext, and I have followed the instruction in this page to 'http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Fonts_in_LuaTeX' install the fonts in and I have also installed the fonts in the home_directory/ .fonts I was able to use the xits math with lualatex and it worked fine. luaotfload | load font: font family='xitsmath', subfamily='regular' found: xits-math.otf Thanks in advance
