Hello, there was a discussion about "Ideas for restructuring the ConTeXt garden?" some months ago (http://www.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2011/057640.html). In answers in this forum, "Context Minimals" are still referred - so just a polite question: Is there any progress calling Context Minimals -> "Context Standalone"? Wrong radical with euler.otf and texlive 2011.

Hi, I use euler.otf with texlive 2011. The expression $1\over\sqrt{{1\over b^2}+{1\over a^2}}$ is typeset with a wrong radical. Here: $$1\over\sqrt{{1\over b^2}+{1\over a^2}}$$ it seems correct. Beta also exhibits the same behavior. Is the font or the format, or, perhaps, something else? Thank, Eythan

\defineseperatedlist and working with variables and merging fields

Attached a tex file and the generated PDF. The first table is what I am trying to do. The second table is an example about what I would like to accomplish. I have two problems. Because there will be a lot of tables I like to use a variable, so that changes can be done in one place. That is why I would like to use: \getvariable{desc}{fieldHeading} on the third line of the table. But then I get one column instead of five. (The third is what I get, the fourth what I would like to get.) In the first and last two rows I would like to have the field take the complete row. Just like the example in the table under it where I use Is this possible? -- Cecil Westerhof

Dear ConTeXt folks, following Wolfgang’s advise [1] (Thank you, Wolfgang!) I learned about ` \{start,stop}standardmakeup`. trailing spaces in macro argument

Dear list, could anyone be so kind to explain to me why in the following MWE the trailing space are missing in the output of the \test-macro? I’m kind of puzzled as I supposed it wouldn’t be possible for \stopline to influence the behaviour of its preceding tokens. apologies for what's probably a most straight-forward question to many of you… \def\test#1{% \startline[line:0]% \pagereference[page:0]% {#1}% \stopline[line:0]%D commenting this out makes the trailing spaces in the argument appear as expected. } \starttext \startlinenumbering One \test{ two three }four \stoplinenumbering \stoptext Thanks! Single page in landscape?

I'm sure this is a FAQ, but I can't find an answer which works. I have a document in portrait mode (A4), with one wide diagram - a Gantt chart, created with the gantt-tikz module, and which I'd like on a landscape page of its own. What's the easiest way to do this? I can do it by simply putting the chart on a page of its own and rotating it, but this is a bit of an ad-hoc solution. Thanks, Alasdair

Only show section numbering for \chapter?

Hello all, I'm trying to only show section numbering for chapter, both in the section head and content list. I tried several combinations of number=yes|no, sectionnumber=yes|no but I either get numbering for all or none. I tried using \title and \subject by they don't show in the content list. I ended up using hacks like numbercomman=\dummy, and defining \def\dummy#1{}, but I'm trying to find if there is a cleaner solution. Regards, Khaled -- Khaled Hosny Egyptian Arab
