Escaping from modes set for "tabulate"

Hello, is it possible to escape from modes (fonts) defined in \starttabulate[...]? I mean just for header - to escape the math mode and to switch to normal font temporarily: --- \starttext I get: \starttabulate[|lT|mc|p|] \NC Code \NC Symbol \NC Description \NC\NR \HL \NC Gamma \NC \gamma \NC Self weight \NC\NR \stoptabulate And I'd rather get: \starttabulate[|l|c|p|] \NC Code \NC Symbol \NC Description \NC\NR \HL \NC \tt Gamma \NC $\gamma$ \NC Self weight \NC\NR \stoptabulate But simply -- I'm looking for something like (code bellow causes errors): \starttabulate[|lT|mc|p|] \NC {\normalfont Code} \NC {\nomath Symbol} \NC Description \NC\NR \HL \NC Gamma \NC \gamma \NC Self weight \NC\NR \stoptabulate \stoptext --- Kind regards, Lukas -- Ing. Bad interaction between new interpretation of underscore and modules

Hi all, today's beta introduced a really strange problem. Consider two source files: definitions.tex: \startmodule[definitions] \def\lambdax{\lambda_x} \stopmodule[definitions] main.tex: \usemodule[definitions] \starttext blah $\lambdax$ blah. \stoptext This results in the following compile error: ! Undefined control sequence. \lambdax ->\lambda_x l.5 blah $\lambdax $ blah. ? However, if you change "\usemodule[definitions]" into "\input definitions" instead, then there is no compile error! My understanding is that the underscore is a valid character for macro names now outside of math mode, which is what is causing the problem. But I really don't understand what magic is going on in the modules code to trigger this. I would be very interested in an explanation of what is going on. Many thanks, Mathieu

Hi friends, I am a bit confused with the use of citation/bibliographies in MkIV. Maybe someone can help me? Say, I have a bib-file containing entries like ... @BOOK{mb:Wassermann1990, title = {Alternativkommentar zum Strafgesetzbuch}, year = {1990 (Bd. 1), 1986 (Bd. 3)}, editor = {Wassermann, Rudolph}, % address = {Neuwied}, howcited = {\emph{Bearbeiter}, in: Wassermann, AK-StGB}, juratitle = {AK-StGB}, owner = {mascha}, timestamp = {2006.10.02} } In the typeset document I need an entry like this: \emph{Amelung} in Wassermann, Alternativkommentar zum Strafgesetzbuch, §\,94, Rn. 4. In a Latex document I saw the usage like this: \cite[Amelung][§\,94, Rn. 4]{mb:Wassermann1990} Who do I do it in ConTeXt MkIV?? Any help very welcome!! Thank you, Steffen

Skew not working in latest beta

Hi all, consider the following short document \starttext hello $\hat x \hat A$. \stoptext In the latest beta, and in a December beta as well, the hat above the capital A is misplaced. IIRC the placement used to be correct, back in november. Any ideas as to a workaround in the meantime ? Mathieu

Problem typing file with diacritics by \typefile

Hello, I have problem. Suppose having t-TypeF.ctx which is to print itself: --- \enableregime[cp1250] \starttext ABC ŽŠČ \typefile[]{t-TypeF.ctx} \stoptext --- The letters "ŽŠČ" to be printed during \typefile are the problem. I get a long error message, where the key message is: l.9 \typefile[]{t-TypeF.ctx} ! String contains an invalid utf-8 sequence. system > error on line 73 in file t-TypeF.ctx: String contains an invalid utf-8 sequence ... l.73 ´┐Ż The file is created with CP 1250 = Windows, Eastern Europe, Czech Republic. So how do I make ctx accept also Czech letters with diacritics like "ŽŠČ"? - I also looked to wiki to \setuptyping, but it doesn't seem to there would be a command which could change this. Problem with \setuptyping-ed \typefile

Hello, I encountered another problem with \typefile. mptopdf (broken again)

Hans & Taco, A tiny request: is there any chance to make the mptopdf script point to "--script mptopdf" instead of "--script base"? Hi! I'm back again with my question. I really want to get Unicode 'Quarter Note' symbol, either from standard or custom font. The following example does not work, while the font (Symbola) is found. I probably did not define something, but I don't know what. \starttext \startfont[file:Symbola602 sa 2] \fontchar{notequarter} \fontchar{musicalnote} \fontchar{musicalnotedbl} \fontchar{sixteenthnotedbl} \stopfont \stoptext !
