Is there a way to justify the line? I mean no word hyphenation, and words are justified like in office word. My boss is quite angry to see hyphenations at the end of lines in my file. What a hell.

Hi, At the context conference Taco presented a new initiative with respect to manuals. For those who cannot (or don't want to) print and bind at home we offer a printing on demand service. This week we send out the first copies of the (new) metafun manual: http://www.boekplan.nl/node/9 More will follow. We hope that this will (partially) answer the need for manuals. We still have to find out which manuals (also new ones) should become available as it takes a bit of effort to keep this flow running and to turn manuals in some book-like form, so best keep an eye on the site if you're interested. The first strange thing that I notice is that the subtitle is set in a much more prominent style than the title. This seems backwards to me. The second concern is that the numbers for footnotes (but not the notes themselves, thankfully) appear outside of where they should (which is in the Notes section, with \plcefootnotes). Hi again, is there a way to specify the frame offset of ‘\framed’ for vertical and horizontal orientations separately? Consider this example: ···8<···························································· \starttext \framed[frameoffset=1em,width=5cm,height=5.5cm,align=lohi]{\input ward } \stoptext ···8<···························································· I’d be fine without the vertical offset, only left and right are essential. Somehow I’m having trouble applying the glue inside ‘\framed’ myself. When I run this example with mpost amd mptopdf, everything is fine. But running it with context mkiv, using its mplib I get an error. The problematic command is dotlabels.top(0,1,2,3,4,5,6); Commented it out, then it works with context, too. Generating new setup manual on local distribution --- formerly Re: metafun

HI: a naive question. Went to the link http://www.pragma-ade.nl/show-man-10.htm and took a look at the *new setup manual* (in pdf format). I could not understand the meaning of this remark " The manual can be generated on the user's system, since the style and the database that is needed is part of the distribution". How can I generate the manual on my minimals installation? Thicker row separator in a table

Hello, I'm trying to get a thicker [transparent] row separator in a table. I have the following code: --- \definetabulate[TabA][|c|] \def\XROW{\vrule height 2.5ex depth 1.ex} \starttext \startTabA A \NR % Next Row B \NR C \SR % Separate Row D \MR % Mid Row E \AR % Auto Row F \NR \stopTabA \startTabA 1 \XROW width 1em \NR 2 \XROW width 1cm \NR 3 \NR 4 \NR \stopTabA \stoptext --- I tried all \?R commands (first table) but there is the same space between each row of the table. (BTW: What is the difference in use or purpose between \MR, \SR and \AR?) I'm trying to achieve a bigger space between two rows, like between 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 in the second table. But, I had to use a bit "dirty" trick - to use an auxiliary blank \vrule with a specific height and depth (= \XROW). That is, I'm actually growing the height of rows instead of growing their separator (= space between them). Is there a "cleaner" way how to achieve a bigger space between two rows? (I mean between two specific rows, not between rows of one table in general.) Lukas

How to remove \jobname-mpgraph.dddd?

I have a silly question - how do I remove mpgraph files now that ctxtools is gone and "context --purge" doesn't know about them? "context" doesn't need to know about mpgraph files as long as MKIV is not generating them, but if there is no mkii-only --purge alternative ... I have fifty files \jobname-mpgraph.4000 ... \jobname-mpgraph.3951 and even though I can use "rm", --purge would be a lot more convenient. Mojca
