missing newline in when mtxrun exits with error

Dear all, This is a very minor gripe, but when mtxrun reports an error it doesn't seem to print a final newline. At least with my bash setup, this confuses the command-line editing feature, which I use a lot. ... some TeX error happened ... ? q OK, entering \batchmode MTXrun | fatal error: return code: 1% Platform is Mac OS X 10.6, latest minimals. Error message wrong when \component is used

Dear all, I find that when there is an error (at least, "undefined control sequence") in a file included using \component, the supposedly erroneous lines printed are from the calling file, not the file where the error actually is (although the line number seems correct, and there are clues where the error really lies). Minimal example ... file1.tex: \startproduct file1 \starttext Bla bla bla. Bla bla bla. Bla bla bla. \component file2 \stoptext \stopproduct file2.tex: \startcomponent file2 Bleh bleh bleh. Bleh bleh bleh. Bleh bleh bleh. \zorg \stopcomponent When I run "context file1" I get an error: ... ConTeXt ver: 2010.10.12 01:03 MKIV fmt: 2010.10.12 int: english/english ... systems : begin file file1 at line 1 systems : begin file file2 at line 6 (file2.tex ! Undefined control sequence. system > error on line 5 in file file1.tex: Undefined control sequence ... 1 \startproduct file1 2 \starttext 3 Bla bla bla. 4 Bla bla bla. 5 >> Bla bla bla. 6 \component file2 7 \stoptext 8 \stopproduct l.5 \zorg If I replace \component with \input in file1.tex, all works correctly and the error ("\zorg") is correctly pointed out. Hello, I'd have one more question. I need to have many \subsubject behind each other (again: actually processing an external file, but a small example is attached): --- \setupbodyfont[11pt] \starttext \subsubsubject{001} \subsubsubject{002} \subsubsubject{003} \subsubsubject{004} \subsubsubject{005} \subsubsubject{006} \subsubsubject{007} \subsubsubject{008} \subsubsubject{009} \subsubsubject{010} \subsubsubject{011} \subsubsubject{012} \subsubsubject{013} \subsubsubject{014} \subsubsubject{015} \subsubsubject{016} \subsubsubject{017} \subsubsubject{018} \subsubsubject{019} \subsubsubject{020} \subsubsubject{021} % Last visible on the page \subsubsubject{022} \subsubsubject{023} \subsubsubject{024} \subsubsubject{025} \subsubsubject{026} \stoptext --- The problem is that typesetting n-th \subsubject doesn't go to the next page, but is typeset on the same page, so that the last ones disappear. Synonyms: difference between mkii and mkiv?

Headers must not be the last object on the page

I'm getting headers as the last item on a page. Following content appears on the next page. I would like to have headers not be separated from their content by a page break. Is there a way to say "if a header is the last thing on the page, place it on the next page instead"? I am aware of the "before={\testpage[n]\blank}" trick, but this only applies when you need a specific amount of lines. Because the following content may be a figure, float, table, or other large object, the space required will vary. I just want the header to know that it must not be the last object on the page. Is this possible? Thank you very much for your help.

Hi all, please have a look at the following example \starttext \showframe \startbuffer \startitemize[n,fit][left={Abb. },distance=.5em] \item \dorecurse{20}{eins } \item \dorecurse{20}{zwei } \item \dorecurse{20}{drei } \stopitemize \stopbuffer \bTABLE % it works if you comment out the table \bTR\bTD \getbuffer \eTD\eTR \eTABLE \getbuffer \stoptext It seems that using itemize in TABLE disturbs the following lists. Hello, a stopper option resets item to default value. I expect a) and b) instead of big dot in the first itemize. mkiv current version: 2010.10.06 10:20 \starttext \startitemize[a,stopper=)] \item one. \item two. \stopitemize \startitemize[a] \item one. \item two. \stopitemize \stoptext Regards, Marius

Dear CJK experts, I am looking to add furigana (readings) above the Kanji (Chinese characters) in a Japanese text.
