Latest beta doesn't load modules

Hi Hans, the latest beta is unabel to load external modules. luatools knows where the module is: luatools t-simpleslides.tex /Users/tas/texmf/tex/context/third/simple-slides/t-simpleslides.tex And yet, it claims it's unable to find it (after saying it has loaded the module): system : module simpleslides.tex loaded ! Hello Members, I have a problem with the use of \useURL \useURL[pragma-document-url][http://www.pragma-ade.com/document-1.htm]<http://www.pragma-ade.com/document-1.htm%5D%5B%5D%5Bpragma-document> [][pragma-document] with \from[pragma-document-url] I get http://www.pragma-ade.com/document-1.htm in the text, but not pragma-document \useURL[geocities-url][http://www.geocities.com/alex_stef/mylist.html]<http://www.geocities.com/alex_stef/mylist.html%5D%5B%5D%5Bgeocities> [][geocities] works well with \from[geocities-url] (In the first question I wrote: \from[geocities]) I get a reference to geocities. fontfeatures

Hi Hans, what happened with the option to set font features with more memorizable names you mentioned in http://www.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2007/028330.html It would be nice to write \definefontfeature[mine][smallcaps=yes] instead of \definefontfeature[mine][smcp=yes] where you have to know the four letter code for the feature. texworks with context on linux

Hi, Yesterday I wanted to try out texworks for editing and typesetting my context documents. I installed texworks from the ubuntu launchpad ppa since '--goodies=texworks' doesn't work on linux-64, yet. Then I ran into a few problems: * The script mtx-texworks.lua wasn't able to start texworks because "unable to locate texworks". In the loop that's searching all the binpaths I put in 'logs.simple("%s",p)' and found out that binpaths only consists of one element: the complete PATH variable. I guess it means that there's something wrong with the function file.split_path, but I don't understand what's happening there. When I replaced the loop with 'p="/usr/bin/texworks"' texworks started as expected. * However the typesetting engines were not correctly set up. Texworks (at least on linux) seems to be looking for a file TeXworks.ini. The one in the minimals distribution is called texworks.ini. Renaming this solved it... * ... almost. In the TeXworks.ini file I also had to replace all occurunces of 'mtxrun.cmd' (doesn't work on linux, is this correct for Windows?) with 'mtxrun'. I wish I could help solve these points, but since I'm not much of a programmer I cannot solve the first issue, and the other are just a matter of renaming/replacing?? Wrap an item in a frame?

Hi all is there a way to automatically wrap an \item in a frame or frametext box? This my be an obvious question but can't seem to figure it out... Tried this \setupitemize[1][ before=\startframedtext after=\stopframedtext ] But that didn't work.

Layers don't repeat in Mk IV

I've been trying to use layers for a simple logo that repeats on all pages. Something along the lines of the code below: \definelayer[mybg][x=0mm, y=0mm,width=\paperwidth, height=\paperheight,repeat=yes] \setlayer [mybg] [hoffset=1cm, voffset=1cm] {\framed[frame=on, width=3cm, height=2cm]{\externalfigure[cow][width=1cm] }} \setupbackgrounds[page][background=mybg] \starttext \dorecurse{6}{\input tufte\par} \stoptext It works as expected using Mk II but does not work under Mk IV: The layer appears only on the first page. how to get minimals working?

I downloaded and installed the minimals. Running LuaTeX MKIV then hangs in TeXShop and must be aborted. Does someone knows what is amiss here? Hallo, I have always problems with verbatim text. Sometimes I found a solution, sometimes a workaround. Are there solutions to - print text with a verbatim '%' sign - print text with a verbatim '{' why is in the following example '#' --> '##'? why is there a newline between 'bla' and 'blub'? \starttext %\type{%} %\type{{} \retype{#} \startlines \retype{bla}blub \stoplines \stoptext Thank you Wolfgang
