Problem with \digits

Hello, I am using mkiv beta (14-Jun-09) and the \digits command does not like the decimal point. Any suggestions? Upcoming EuroTeX 2009

Dear TeX user, The upcoming EuroTeX 2009 takes place from August 31 till September 4 in Den Haag in The Netherlands. In parallel we will run the third ConTeXt conference. We already have some 25 talks and tutorials submitted but we need a few more as we run a parallel program. If you are willing to present a paper or tutorial, please let us know. The theme of the conference is "Educational Uses of TeX" but of course other TeX and MetaPost related topics will be covered as well. Depending on the amount of contributions we will program them in blocks that cover general topics but we will also cluster talks and turorials specific to macro packages in an additional program. [PATCH] Add begin_of_buffer and end_of_buffer hooks for lua pretty printers

Hi all, while working on a custom pretty printer, I was having the need to keep some state variables for the duration of one buffer, and reset them again for the next buffer. With the current hooks a pretty printer has available, this is not possible, since you never know what the first and last lines are. The attached patch adds two new hooks, begin_of_buffer and end_of_buffer, which will be called when typing a buffer or a file (e.g. \typebuffer or \typefile). They are not called for typing a phrase (e.g. \type). Is this patch acceptable for inclusion? Gr. Matthijs

Hi, Hans: bug report : here is the test file. (old version of mkiv produce right result. current mkii result is also right) It is a bug introduced in this/last month. I think with mkiv it is able to achieve that. question: I want to show toc before each chapter, and the toc only shows the following chapter name in red. Hyphenation list and umlauts

Hi, I stumbled upon a problem with my hyphenation list: In MKIV, all the words in the list that contain umlauts are completely ignored. MKII is fine. Example: \de \hyphenation{ma-nö-v-rie-ren} \starttext \hyphenatedword{manövrieren} \stoptext Is there any workaround for this? (\odiaeresis doesn't work either) Or do I have an encoding problem? letter/correspondence module

Hallo Wolfgang! ;-) Since my old letter and CV environment doesn't work anymore in MkIV, I'm trying to reproduce it with t-letter. At the moment I struggle with the reference keys: \setupletterstyle[reference][ alternative=d, list={name,street,city,,phone,skype,email,,date}, ] \setupletter[name,street,phone,date,skype,email][ separator={: }, titlestyle={\ss\tfxx}, ] The keys street, city and skype aren't defined in your module. I found where the other keys are defined (and I guess I could mine in or use a similar approach in my environment), but I'm clueless, where the translation comes from - I grepped eg. after "Telefon" without results, and I think I looked into every file of your module. I guess it would be interesting how to define your own keys, maybe some IM adresses etc., also for other users. Would it be possible to use unknown keys just unchanged? I.e. if I say \setupletter[ Skype={fiee.visuelle} ] to get just "Skype: fiee.visuelle"? More questions will follow... I'll try to get my logo at the right place by myself before... Turning slides in unattended presentation

Hello, Is it possible to make slides (i.e., PDF pages) to turn automatically, say, every 10 seconds (and start again, in loop)? I suppose that Reader is in full-screen mode (Ctrl+L). I already have nice transitions between slides, making the presentation unattended is the main thing I lank now. Vyatcheslav
