Updating the minimals: is something broken?

Hi all, in particular Mojca, Since yesterday updating, or installing anew, the minimals via the CLI does not work anymore. sagemath in context

Hi, I know that Context is developing rapidly and the top guys here are all very busy with these development efforts. But I thought I would just float this idea. There is an open source mathematics software system called sagemath which aims to be a viable substitute to Mathematica and Maple. The link is http://www.sagemath.org/ There exists a latex package called sagetex, which allows using sagemath functions from within latex. The following link on ctan has some examples http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/sagetex/ Do you think it is possible to do a similar thing in Context? It would be really cool if this functionality is added to Context. What do the experts here think?

startregister produces strange page range ("1-2-3")

With the following minimal file, the index entry for Knuth has the strange page range "1-2-3" rather than "1-2, 2-3". Adding \input knuth a few times in between the two start..stopregister stanzas gives a correct page range (so maybe that change hides the problem). I'm using ConTeXt 2008.10.31 (Mk II) from the Debian unstable packages. Letter module – new feature (mkiv only)

Hi, with the latest version of my module you get a overview of the loaded files at the end of the log file, be aware this is a mkiv only feature i will not implement this for mkii. Dear Mr. Arnold, questions regarding ConTeXt and modules for ConTeXt are better asked on the ConTeXt mailing list and if you would have done this I could have given you the following answer. The default output format for ConTeXt is PDF since about three years while PSTricks needs the files in PostScript format which requires a intermediate DVI file. To get a DVI file with ConTeXt you could set it either with \setupoutput[dvi] in your document or you use the backend switch on the command line, because the code between the PSTRICKS-environment is written in a external file which is converted to dvi, ps and pdf you have to do this in the pstric-module and not in your document. In my own installation I made a copy from the file m-pstric.tex and added the \dostartTEXapplication macro from the page-app.tex file where I now changed the line \executesystemcommand{texexec --once --batch \bufferprefix \@@texapp.tex}% to \executesystemcommand{texexec --once --batch --backend=dvips \bufferprefix\@@texapp.tex}% and switched from ps2pdf command to pstopdf %\executesystemcommand{ps2pdf \bufferprefix\@@texapp.ps \bufferprefix\@@texapp.pdf}% \executesystemcommand{texmfstart pstopdf \bufferprefix\@@texapp.ps \bufferprefix\@@texapp.pdf}% to get a cropped page for the image. As a last change I added the following two definition to m-pstrics.tex because pstricks.tex use them but are not defined in ConTeXt: \letvalue{@unused}\plussixteen \letvalue{alloc@}\gobblefivearguments After these changes I was able to produce PSTricks images in ConTeXt but people had use never given enough time on the ConTeXt list to answer their questions and fix the problem and so PSTricks support is broken since a long time and this will not change. Mplib problem of latest beta on luatex 0.40
