local footnote (Tables) problem

Wolfgang— I adapted the file that you sent me so that the table extends beyond one page. But, as you will see, the table still prints on just one page. Moreover, if I set split=repeat, the header prints twice (?) more. Remove bold face

Hello Everybody, My problem is the following: I'm creating chapter's titles with a mix of styles. For example. \chapter{ something {\bolditalic another thing}} This give me the result that I expect with my titles, but when I use this title's string to create a header, part of the header appears with the bold italic style on it and I would like to remove it. So far I have tried to define my header's style as normal but the bolditalic style keeps appearing on the "another thing" part. Is there a way to remove this bold style? framed items

Hi all, maybe there is already code for that, but I haven't found it: is it possible to have itemgroups where every single item is within a frame (this is something that may be interesting for presentations)? Just to give you an idea of what I want to achieve, here's a short example: \setuplayout[width=10cm] \starttext \setupframed[offset=2mm, corner=round, background=color, backgroundcolor=blue, foregroundcolor=white, frame=off, strut=no, align=normal, width=\textwidth] \startitemize[n] \item \framed{The text of this item is made very long because it is intended to show the effect of what happens when an item extends to more than just one line.} \item \framed{This item is relatively short, but also fills more than one line.} \stopitemize \stoptext The problem is the vertical alignment of the item number, which should be at the top of the frame. kpathsea510.dll couldn't be found

Hello, if I try to update the contextmininals (command line method under windows) or to reinstall contextminimals I get the message "mpost.exe" could not found because kpathsea510.dll are not found. The same happens with "pdftex.exe". The update or the reinstall stopped. I started the update with "first-setup.bat --keep" (initialized the tree with C:\context\tex\setuptex.bat C:\context\tex). On my contextminimals there ist no file named kpathsea510.dll. Only kpathsea500.dll etc. What can I do? Hello, Another question about figures. How to get rid of big spacing between floating figure caption and surrounding text? Producing PDF x/1-a:2001 output.

At least two commercial printers that I use prefer or insist on the format PDF X/1-a:2001 output. The only way I have found to produce such in TeX without a pass through Adobe Acrobat Distiller or the shareware program Pstill is via the package pdfx.sty authored by CV Radhakrishnan and Han The Thanh. This in turn uses some other files such as xmpincl.sty. I wonder if this setup could be incorporated into some flavor of Context? Or even pdftex?
